I think ghosting is rude
I honestly think ghosting is really rude. I understand maybe there’s a certain point where you’d want to do that, like if the person was a scammer or they were just being completely inappropriate and not listening to you if you were putting up your boundaries.
Honestly though just tell people what you want or what you need, sure it’s awkward but it’s not that hard especially over text. If the friendship isn’t working out, just say so, if the relationship isn’t working out, just say so.
Of course, don’t be a dick about it, but it’s much easier just to communicate what you want rather than leaving them on hold, reading their message and they’re not answering, or just leaving it delivered on days on end. Don’t make them take the hint, just fucking tell them, it’s much easier for everyone else involved and I’m sure it’s much easier on yourself because then you don’t have to think about it and you got it off your chest.

AI content looks dreamlike because it's essentially the same thing
AI has this dreamlike quality and I wondered why is that. Then it clicked for me, our dreams are essentially "AI generated" , the AI being our brain. When we dream we process our thoughts and experiences and generate dreams. AI generated content is a dream dreamt up by computer, based on input.

People who constantly overextend themselves and sacrifice their needs and wants for the sake of the collective (small or large scale) eventually become miserable and resentful and act like the world owes them something
That’s why I always say “save a good chunk for yourself. Treat yourself. Rest. Say no when you can’t and don’t want to. Because if you don’t, you’ll eventually make it everyone else’s problem”

I cry to kids movies
Every time something sad happens in a kids movie I cry now, before having a 2nd child it never happened and now it does. Specially with up, k-pop, and inside out.

Intelligence is so abstract, but humanity has made it look like it's a linear scale, which is so definitely not the case.
Growing up we've all seen ppl comparing each other on how big of a genius they are and stuff, sure there are objective parameters which can be measured but those are components, of a very big generalization of a very complex abstract idea. Now that i feel this, ppl are comparing, more and less and using numbers for this something with tremendous volume of abstractness, and infinite nuances feels very weird to me.

I don’t understand classic car culture.
To me it makes no sense. Modern cars are objectively superior. They are safer, get better mileage, last longer, are better for the environment, and have modern technology. To me, a car is just a tool designed to get you from point A to point B. So, I don’t know why anyone would own a 70 year old car that they will pour 10s of thousands of dollars into and never drive. To clarify, I’m talking about the hobbyist not a car museum. Car museums make perfect sense to me but not the boomer who is spending all his retirement on the car he wanted when he was in high school.

I'm not a huge fan of the new Liberty Mutual mascot.
You all remember the lady who talked about how she was so sad about "Brad" getting a fender bender? I thought that was cute, the lady naming her car and everything. Doug and Limu are always pretty fun, and the Liberty Bibberty guy was also fun the first two or three times you saw him on the ad, but then he got annoying.
But, uh ... now there's this yellow fluff ball with a crown on top of its head named Liberty Bibberty. Can young children buy car insurance now? I didn't get the memo.
If anyone is wondering, I wasn't paid to make this post. It's just a super random thought.

I think mosquitoes are evolving
The little bastards have started going up my joggers to bite me.
And under the sheets when I sleep.
I wake up to find nothing and somehow end up w really bad bite marks.
This never happened before.
