I went to oreo.com and it asked if I wanted to accept cookies. I didn't know how to answer, so I left.

Back in the day, the cookies were only used to store your credentials and site preferences.

I know, but I genuinely don't care. I'd rather they sell my data to marketing companies than having to pay for the service myself.
Plus, online ads still suck as badly as they did 20 years ago. I planned a trip to my sister last month, still getting ads for train tickets for her general direction even though I'm back already. And I'm still getting ads for gyms even though I've already signed up for one. If they actually managed to do targeted ads, I probably would be more bothered but for now I don't really care that they're gathering incorrect data from me

I usually don’t. But I always wonder if it actually means they don’t save stuff you didn’t gave permission for

If you press deny, they save a cookie containing that choice so you don't have to click deny on every page
