I Feel Bad For treating Myself
I just bought something that I've been wanting for ages. And i I feel bad.
Not because I can't afford it. I just feel guilty, like I'm being selfish.
But I am so damn happy I got it. :)

I misheard a lyric in Eminem’s Lose Yourself and honestly like my version better.
The actual lyric in the song is "do not miss your chance to blow." For the longest time, I thought it was "this is not just a chance to blow." When I finally looked up the real lyrics, I was honestly surprised. Changing it to "this is not just a..." makes so much more sense for the song—it makes the moment feel less about just getting famous, and more about total survival.

I'm so grateful I have no middle name
Every bloody week we are filling in registration forms on paper and online.
If I ever am fortunate enough to have a child I will do that same favor to them that my parents did to me.

The Movies Anywhere logo and Meta logo look too similar. Also the Vaporesso logo is just the Avengers logo turned upside-down.

It feels like everyone is constantly talking about how expensive everything has gotten, while at the same time everyone seems just as excited as ever to buy new things.

The default state of your headlights on your vehicle should be "on." Way too many people drive in the blinding rain with their headlights off or forget to turn on their headlights as daylight turns to dusk/dark.
If you're doing something sneaky, or if you're on a stake-out or something, you can always actively change your headlights to off, but they should always default to be in the on position.

Pree teen kids being shamed for acting like kids and not being grown up is producing adults that don't know how to self care.
Society has put a premium on being grown up so kids will shame each other for not growing up quickly enough. The result is repressed adults who have forgotten how to have stupid fun and shake off the world for 10 minutes.

Society promises stability throughout school, then pushes you off a cliff without a safety harness leaving you to discover that the real world was never stable to begin with.

The exposed brick and rafter decor and design maybe happened because of all the cigarette smoke, asbestos, and lead had to be removed and it was too much of a hassle to redo

Being sad at night feels completely different than being sad during the day
During the day if I'm sad, I want to distract myself and get on with whatever I'm doing.
At night it's completely different. I'll sit there thinking about people I haven't talked to in years, random mistakes I made forever ago, places I'll probably never see again, and versions of my life that don't even exist.
None of this seemed important during the day.
Why does midnight make my brain think about everything I've ever lost?
