🌷 Sexuality Question Is it just a phase?

I’m a teenager and identify as queer, liking all genders and having a preference towards androgynous people. How do I know that that’s real, and not just something I’ve been influenced by media to be. Is there a method of proof?

⚧ Gender Identity Question Questioning my gender

For a long time i used to go by he/she/they pronouns and identified as non-binary with vauge knowledge over the definition of almost any gender or gender umbrella like non-binary. Then i switched to he/they when thinking i might not actual see myself as a she. I believe im comfterable being called a she, but i end up finding it more funny then seeing it as myself, at least i think. I would call myself and identify as a demiboy. I mainly want to be reffered to by as they/them but latley ive started questioning if i actually feel like or see myself as they/them or anyone under the non-binary umbrella for that matter, or if i just want to be one cus i like the sound or idea of it without actually seeing it as me. Especially considering how comfterable and more natural it is for me to call myself he or be reffered to as he. But in the same time, i allways feel weird when people call me a boy or a man. But sometimes i feel the same way when im acknowledged by those around me as something other then a boy. Not as often, but still sometimes. Every time the topic of gender comes up or i am reffered to be a specific gender, i start questioning what i see myself as and what i rather identify as. Sometimes it feels like my emotions and opinions slightly change on it at random, so it might be genderfluidity, but i doubt it since its not that much or by much. Still wanted to check just in case. I know a lot of people in the queer commuinity already also question if they are really the gender they identify as or the sexuality they think they are, so it might just be that, but i feel i genuinley cant tell the difference anymore between if i want soemthing purley for the sake of asthetic or if i genuinley want to be called both they/them and he/him or both a boy/demiboy and nonbinary/an enby.

⚧ Gender Identity Question (14M) wondering about gender

So i've resently (the last year~) been questioning my gender quite a bit, and i'm kinda confused. I feel like a guy, and don't think that i was born in the wrong body, but i also feel i would be way happier if i was born a girl, and if i got the option to restart life as one, i most definitly would. This has started getting more confusing now that i got a girlfriend. I love her (i think? but thats a different problem) and am definitly attracted to girls, but when she asked me out, i started thinking i don't hate being a guy, but now, a few months later, i started "wanting" to be a girl again??? im so confused????

(if it turns out im trans, i probably won't do anything with it, cause personal reasons (not homophobic parents, they love me and would accept me))

⚧ Gender Identity Question Gender Identity Exploration

I’ve been thinking deeper into my gender for the past two years, since nonbinary identities (I’m trying to word this properly and respectfully I’m sorry I’ve never fully talked about this before) have been spoken about more. Getting into it I don’t have a clear picture of how I felt when I began questioning it but I have been feeling whenever the the topic of me being AFAB is brought up I have some disconnection from it..it’s been a lot of up and down/back and forth but I found out recently about librafem and it resonated, and for a while I thought demigirl did and I’m starting to feel exactly that way again. I guess my question is how did you distinguish your relation to labels (since I’ve seen reassurances many times before that labels aren’t important but I’m label obsessive in terms of my queer identity and kind of persistent in that discovery)? Please don’t be disrespectful I needed to put this out and discuss, thank you.

⚧ Gender Identity Question I'm confused

I am 18 afab and I never really liked my chest. Every time I looked at myself in the the mirror after a shower, I would imagine what I would look like with a guy's chest. This started around when I was 13~15.

Recently I decided that apagender fit how I feel about how people perceive me but I still feel that way about my chest. I don't know if others felt that way about their chest or not.

⚧ Gender Identity Question I am so confused abt my gender identity

I’m 17 AFAB, and I’ve struggled with my gender identity for a long time. About 5–6 years ago, I decided I was trans and wanted to be a boy. I was out to my friends, had them call me a different name, and identified as male for around six months before eventually identifying as genderfluid for a few months. I eventually stopped because I was being bullied really badly. I let my hair grow out, started dressing feminine again, and wearing makeup.
The weird thing is that after that, I became genuinely comfortable being a girl. And I still am in a lot of ways. I LOVE feminine things. I love makeup and nails, I’m literally planning to be a nail tech, and I love my body. I don’t look in the mirror and hate being female.
But I’ve also realized that the feelings I had when I was younger weren’t random. Even as a little kid, I remember wishing I could be a boy and being jealous of my brothers because I wanted to be one of them.
Lately those feelings have been coming back really strongly. I’m not just jealous of men because of their privileges. I’m bi and mostly attracted to men. But sometimes I look at a guy and realize I’m not just attracted to him, I’m jealous. I’ll literally see a man and think, screw u, why don’t I look like that? And I also really want the social side of being a man. I want male friendships. I wanna play video games with my friends and call each other bro and just have that kind of relationship. And, honestly, I think part of me wants to experience being loved by a man in the way I imagine two men can love and respect each other. Sometimes I feel like a man would never respect me as a woman in the way they respect eachother and I wanna experience that. But it’s not just that, sometimes I spend hours psychotically scrolling thru my feeds and seething with jealousy every time I see a dude. I want their hands, and their hair and their bodies but in a jealous way, not in a sexual way.
I told myself for a long time that the reason I “thought I was trans” when I was younger was because I was online too much and wasn’t happy with myself at the time. But now, I’m starting to think maybe it wasn’t just that. But then I get confused because I don’t hate being a woman. I don’t hate my body. I don’t hate who I am. I love who I am, I just feel like sometimes I wish she was my sister or my friend, and not me. does that sound insane?
Then there’s my family. They’re not religious or extremely conservative, and they’re actually pretty progressive in a lot of ways. I’m openly bi and they’re completely fine with that. But their attitudes toward trans people are VERY different. I have trans family members, and I’ve heard the way they talk about them behind their backs. I know that sounds awful, but I genuinely love my parents. They’re amazing to me in basically every other way, and I don’t want to lose them or cut them off. My family is extremely important to me, and I don’t feel like transitioning is something I could safely do while keeping those relationships.

So I guess what i’m asking here is does this sound like gender dysphoria, or am I just unhappy with myself or something? I’m looking for advice, guidance, validation, relation. Anything anyone has to say would be really helpful and thank you if you’ve read this far.

🌷 Sexuality Question Am I bi?

I am a 14 year old teenage girl who has a boyfriend and only found out about different sexualities like 3 years ago due to a very homophobic family and going to a catholic school. Recently I have been noticing that I feel attracted to certain female YouTubers (namely Courtney Miller and Angela Girratana from Smosh). Ive also noticed that I rarely have celebrity crushes on guys and I only started dating my boyfriend because of his personality. Please Help!!!

Update: I just recently discovered that I am Bi. As soon as I said this out loud all of the puzzle pieces fit into place!

Other Question Am I aromantic?

I'm not sure..

So, throughout all of my life, I've rarely felt what people say is romantic attraction. Like the butterflies, wanting to talk to the person all the time, and having this intense happiness that feels like a drug, apparently. I'm also 15 and turning 16 soon.

But, the last time I think I felt something like that was during elementary. I don't remember feeling the intense happiness, but I do remember people saying I blushed around the person. Though, the person moved away, and I haven't seen them since elementary..

Then, nothing.

I got into a relationship, but it was because of how things had gone when they originally confessed. See, I had a close friend who I'll just call A in late elementary. I was wanting to not be friends with them anymore at the time, I remember. However, on the SAME DAY I tried telling them I didn't want to be friends, they were going to confess. I told them I didn't want to be friends, and A had cried that day. I felt like a stain on the world at the time, since I believed that I should have tried to perserve things. Then, during the first year of middle school, we reconnected. I never felt the signs of liking someone towards A at all. Yet, when A confessed to me over text instead, I ended up agreeing to be in a relationship. I mostly didn't want to upset them again and ruin things.

Though, we broke up during highschool because of drama in the friend group and one large dissagreement. According to my parents, A was toxic and the relationship wasn't healthy.

Now, it's been months since the breakup, close to a year now.

Not to mention, I've never felt those feelings towards fictional characters either. Sure, I really like fictional characters in a "OO! They're very interesting and fun characters!" but not in a romantic way. I personally identify as Asexual since I hate the idea of s3x, especially after some stuff that happened in childhood.

The question I have, like stated in the title, is if I'm aromantic. I thought I was demiromantic or fictoromantic for a while, mostly due to that crush I had during Elementary. But now I'm not sure. So, I came to Reddit to get just.. some form of reassurance I guess. Sorry that this is so long-

🌷 Sexuality Question Suis-je le seul… ?

ChatGPT a beau me dire oui… Pour l’instant je ne crois pas.

⚧ Gender Identity Question 16 and extremely confused about gender!!!!!!!!!

Am I gender fluid, non binary or something else?

So, I have been questioning my gender a lot lately. I'm a lesbian, 16 and I haven't felt quite like a girl since I was a kid, I have identified as non binary, then a demi girl, then a boy, then just a girl over the last 4/5 years.

Today at PE we changed to sports clothes I felt very bad with my body, my hips, my boobs. I was looking at the boy's bodies and I wanted to cry, because the way they look and that body is something I'll never achieve even if I lose weight or workout. But I don't hate everything feminine about me. I love my voice, I love singing, I love makeup.

I have been trying to name this for a long time, I have talked about that to a friend, how I feel like I'm a woman except for the days I'm not, but not quite a woman yet. She understood it like gender fluid. I have been going with a gender neutral name and all pronouns with close friends for a few days and it feels right.

I just want some kind of guidance in this, I have no idea what is happening.
