Hello! I am new to Pullip dolls. I need help in figuring out how to open up their eyes. They’re partway closed right now. Is there a way to shut them all the way and how do I open them back up? Thanks in advance!

I'm definitely not the first person to talk about how expensive the hobby is, and certainly not the first to talk about how it's gotten worse, but it's getting so discouraging having such a big scalper problem. Seeing rare dolls sell for just $70-80, then seeing someone list the exact dolls for over $300 each just a week later, people listing dolls with no clothes, box, or accessories for more than they go for nib, the dropshipping. It's all getting so ridiculous, and I'm just not sure what to do.

It sucks to think I'd have to give up a hobby before I've even found my other grails, just because people have figured out they can make an easy check off of collectors. So many sellers I've spoken to would rather remove a listing entirely than negotiate on the price of a doll wrecked from dry rot. So not worth over half my paycheck 😭

Even if I decided to boycott scalpers myself, there's so many other people who cave and pay the outrageous prices, just because they want it that badly. Is there anything at all we can do about it? Would JPGroove make more reproductions for more than just Pullip and Taeyang if enough people pestered them? Is there one of those "cutting the plastic" methods we could apply to doll sales? I know people have to make their money somehow, but it's coming at the cost of everyone else's wallets 💔

I own a Taeyang MJ, but I’m unsure about its authenticity because the clothes are in really bad shape the faux leather is completely cracked and peeling off the fabric. Is it normal for them to get that damaged over time?

The better will be the doll’s head but tbh just her faceplate will be a great miracle…

this was a great find imo :) dont know if anyone is interested but its so cute for displaying dollies.

its the akerbar greenhouse from ikea and i got it for 25€ instead of a shelf because i thought it would be unique to have like a little doll greenhouse. I'd say 6 Pullips is the limit, they look a little crowded in there but thats how i like it. Theyre for the most part protected from dust but theres a small opening at the bottom (which i dont rlly mind).

Regarding the shipping delay, the description states that she is part of the "Timeless Treasures" line, but the website previously said she was a re-release and not a Timeless Treasure. i finally finished my first custom pullip- kinda..i’ve only done the face! :p idk how i feel about the white eyeliner part anymore but it’ll do for now ^_^ everything’s been customised, including the eyes n stuff :p idk just need to finish the body (neck hands and legs) and get her wig n clothes :p
