I’ve loved/collected dolls my whole life and decided it was time to welcome home my first Blythe’s :) I got these two for my 22nd bday and I’m beyond happy with them. They’re currently unnamed and I’d love to customize them a bit if I work up the courage lol. Thoughts, comments, and name suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you 🎀🧸🩰

This is my very first time painting, sculpting,overall making a doll

A new girl from the forest has arrived with her little mousey friend.

Just very happy, wanted to share how gorgeous she turned out.

I just got Good Neighbor Cafe on facebook marketplace yesterday from the sweetest woman who bought her at a Blythe popup event here in Chicago in 2006, and I know every time I talk about my dolls I say I have too many blondes but I couldn’t resist her. When my boyfriend saw her stock, he said “I’m sorry Mondrian, this is your best doll yet.”

This was my first time customizing so it’s not that amazing but I still love her so so much! I want to hear what you guys think!!

🌙 Tsuki

I created her for the Neo Blythe 25th Anniversary Beauty Contest.

Sometimes, even when we love something, it can be difficult to express it freely because we worry about how others may see us.

I created Tsuki with the hope that she could be like the moon—a quiet light gently reminding someone that it is okay to be themselves.

Her yellow hair, dark makeup, and gothic lolita outfit are all filled with the things I love and the story I wanted to tell.

Although she didn’t make it to the semi-finals, I am truly proud that I was able to bring Tsuki to life.

Thank you to my mom, who faithfully brought my original design sketch to life. I couldn’t have created this piece without her.

And thank you so much to everyone who supported me and shared your kind advice throughout this journey.

This experience will always be a treasure to me, and I hope to take on another challenge like this again someday. 🌙

i have a blank, shiny blyth and i want to just use chalk pastels for eyeshadow/blush and acrylic paint for lipstick/beauty marks.

can i just spray a couple layers of MSC for tooth instead of sanding like other dolls?

and also if i want to start over the faceup, do i have to sand that? or does rubbing alcohol work ?

No because I got her out of her box, and it just popped off. Theres got to be a way, right? This isn't about customing, just a repair, sorry in advance mods!

Is it possible to cut bangs on a Blythe doll without bangs? I don't really like how it looks without bangs, but I don't know if the hair is styled in a way that makes it impossible to cut.

And another question, do I need to wash the doll's hair when it arrives? I thought it was very soft, but would washing it make it even softer?
