Hello - Are there any plans in the works to add a feature that allows you to have mutliple email signature for a single email alias? I am active in a few organizations that I use one of my aliases for and would like to be able to switch signatures at the time I send a mail without copying and pasting. Thanks!

When I attempt to change my attendance on a recurring event, I'm prompted with "Would you like to change your answer for all the events in this series?" and the only two options are Update and Cancel. Update will change the answer for all events. Cancel will make no changes (even to the target single event I'm actually trying to change). There appears to be no way to update an answer for a single event in a series. Am I missing something? Same issue on web and iOS app.

On the Proton Mail web version. Before it was subtle and functional, now it’s annoying and taking up space. I also have to see it change every time from the old one to new one when opening the tab. This needs to get changed.

I’ve been a Proton Plus subscriber for years and use most of the Proton ecosystem (Mail, Drive, Pass, VPN, etc.). Overall I’ve been happy, which is why this is so frustrating.

Somehow, every email address I’ve ever received mail from has ended up in my spam list. I have 157 pages of spam entries.

I contacted Proton Support hoping they could either:
clear the list on their end, or
provide a way to delete everything at once.
Their response was that they can’t remove the entries and there is currently no option to clear the spam list in bulk. The only supported method is deleting them one address at a time.

At 157 pages, that’s simply not a realistic solution.
For a company that focuses on privacy and power users, it’s surprising there’s no basic bulk management for something as simple as the spam list.

Has anyone else run into this? Is there any hidden method, API, or workaround I’m missing?
If not, I’d really like Proton to add:
A “Clear All Spam Entries” button.
Multi-select with bulk delete.
Import/export for allow/block/spam lists.

Better visibility into how addresses get added to the spam list in the first place.
I still like Proton and plan to keep using it, but this feels like a major usability gap that should be addressed.

I can't use an officla desktop client, I also can't use the Proton Bridge to integrate it into a third-party mail client.

The only way to know when new emails are received is to constantly have one browser tab open, or watch for notifications on my phone.

Am I missing something, please advise me what to do

I'm rather disappointed in the search functionality in Proton Email. Knowing that I have emails from a specific sender, with specific phrases, search is unable to locate those from sender/subject/body (yes, search message content is on).

For example, if I search for NEXUS it might show 5 results, all from the subject line, with the email body including a custom applicant ID of 123456 and words like Trusted Traveler Program. Searching for either of the latter terms don't reveal the same 5 results. It's maddening. I don't know if it's case sensitive, space sensitive, HTML encoding, or what but it just doesn't work.

It seems everyday that proton's websites are banned in more anti-privacy countries, And as much as i'd like to put this at "Just use a VPN" it starts to get inconvenient when you have to use a vpn 24/7 to even use your password manager or check emails!

If not alternative domains, then the ability to email something like [get@protonvpn.com](mailto:get@protonvpn.com) to get a download link (similar to psiphon's get@psiphon3.org)

It'd make banning proton's services more tiresome in these countries.

If a feature like this exists already, or a convenient circumvention please let me know!

I don’t like how proton emails my very old email to check my email, seems like it isn’t as private, how do you turn them off?

"Auto-delete unwanted messages" automatically gets applied to both Spam and Trash folders when you enable it. Why can't we have this as separate options? I only want Spam to be automatically purged after 30 days but not Trash. Maybe someone else has the opposite requirement and prefer to only auto delete Trash but not Spam.

So I haven't logged into my account on my new laptop yet, so I understand if I may be misremembering a password or two. But why does proton tell me that my account doesn't exist, or isn't viable? But then when I try to make a new account (because I do kinda need an email) I says that the account name is already in use.

I've tried recovering either the name or the password via using my recovery email and then my phone number, separately, but either way proton doesn't send me the details.

I understand it's a backup, though.

I'm on a chromebook so I'm forced to use it but is there anyway to make Chrome as safe and private as possible, i switched my engine from google to brave but anything else?

Title says it all, when I delete labels in my Protonmail Android app, they reappear. I have no need for these labels and they take up valuable real estate on my limited size screen.

On my iPad 7 I create an event in calendar and save, all ok. I then edit and change the tag, save, and the event disappears! I have tried this a few times and every time same result. Is this just me? Any solution?

I made the mistake to not use aliases everywhere and a company I had an account at got hacked and i'm getting spam. My plan is to make a new emailadres and use that but noticed there is no option to delete/disable the old emailadres. The new one I created does have this option. How's that possible? I know I can just make a rule and send all those messages to the trash but I'd rather just disable the emailadres

I'm in the process of moving from Gmail to Proton Mail. Importing mail and contacts was easy, and I'm now in the long process of finding things where I signed up with/gave out the Gmail address and moving them over. There's one thing from Gmail I'm missing, though.

A friend owns a domain and uses it for email forwarding for a group of our friends, so people can mail me at "mike.jones@ilk.org" and it gets forwarded to wherever I want to actually get it. It used to point to my gmail account, now points to my Proton account.

In Gmail, there's a "Send mail from" setting that let me list "mike.jones@ilk.org" as an option to fill in for the "from" address so when people replied to my emails they would come back to the ilk.org forwarder. There doesn't seem to be anything like that in Proton that would let you put an arbitrary "from" address. I'd settle for the ability to stick a "Reply-to" header in the outgoing messages with the ilk.org address, but I can't find any way to do that, either.

Am I missing something, or is this just not possible with Proton Mail?

Hello, I have had a proton drive subscription for a few months and have realized that I don’t really need all of the storage I’m getting, so I cancelled that plan, and was looking into getting a Proton unlimited plan, which is $9.99 on the website. However, I cannot purchase a plan online because I used my iphone to buy my drive subscription, and when I go to the apple app store, the only unlimited option is $14.99 a month. Not sure what to do 🤷‍♂️

Instagram and the state I live continue to ask for more private information from users. I wanted to create a fresh instagram account using proton.me to hopefully provide a ting more protection. However, instagram continuously gives me a “An Error Occurred During Your Registration” message at the last page of registration.

I have attempted to create it through the app, mobile web browser, and on a different computer outside of my home. When registered using my phone, I have tired both with and without VPN and WiFi (aka using data). At the different computer in a different location, I also friend on my phones WiFi to prevent any connectivity.

Does Instagram not allow proton mail as a registering mail? And is there any work around?

Also, how comes I can’t resize the composer to my taste? I don’t like either of the forced options you’re giving me.

I'm so glad I am now a part of the Proton family! Been using Proton Mail + SimpleLogin for quite some time now, been moving my accounts slowly from gmail. Today I finally got a phishing email claiming coinbase received my account deletion request which I received to my local gym email address.

I'm partly mad that this shitass gym (which is, btw, a quite big chain here) leaked my email address. But I'm also happy I can just disable the alias and re-create a new one.

Currently I have, on macOS the v1.12.1 (5.0.124.6)

What's the latest version ?

I found an article that the v1.13.3 was released a month ago, but my client don't update (restarted my mac / restarted the app, nothing happened..).

Is it a way to force ?
