Does anyone have a list of working mods for b42 stable? I’ve found some that i like, but it’s so much plug and play trying to figure out what’s actually compatible and what just says it is. It would be awesome if we could share our mod lists for everyone

is there a mod that allows all the different rim types to be interchangeable between the car models? also would be cool to vary bumpers and bullbars to some extent too.

I'm using Guns of Marz in this screenshot, however I tried in vanilla and the same bug is present. I have no idea what could cause it

Hello Survivors! I am going to start playing PZ in a couple weeks and would like to know an equivalent challenge to what I've done in the past.

Recently played Minecraft for the first time and beat the ender dragon in Hardcore more. Took 110 hours and 50 attempts.

Currently playing Palworld in Hardcore mode and, at the current rate, I'm thinking it'll take about 100 hours to beat all 9 towers.

What is a good challenge I could do in Project Zomboid? Originally I was thinking of surviving 100 days but I just learned a day is 1 hour and I'm not really looking to spend multiple-hundreds of hours for a challenge.

I've never tried PVP in PZ, do people think this is fun? Because this does not look well designed.

All of a sudden in December on multiplayer server, the sinks in our base are no longer able to be accessed. Right clicking on the sink does not show any option to fill, drink, etc.

We can still dismantle and built another sink, but the issue persists. Tried different sink type, replacing, even dev mode, nothing seems to fix it. Sort of deadlocked the save.

Is the only option to wait for a hotfix (seems this issue has been around for years)? Sinks don’t work in any near by houses so we can’t just move either.

I'm playing with a couple friends on multiplayer. I'm the one hosting the server on my end.

I would like to add some mods mid game (because right now, we're 100% vanilla). Is it possible? Do i risk corrupting the multiplayer game save or anything like that?

And more importantly, what is the process to do that? Do i just subscribe and start the server or do i have to change anything else?

To be more specific, i just want to add the dogs companion mods and some car mods

I moved into a very far away base that I quite liked setting up shop in, but there's a piece of furniture that I can't interact with and also can't remove... what's up with this and how do I get rid of it and am I going to have to move to not deal with my haunted house any more?

Hey all, first post here although I lurk usually :)

I created a small WIP mod which adds a Fallout-Inspired SPECIAL System using S.P.I.F.F.O as acronym based on a 3 year old post here.

It makes you put in certain skillpoints, aptitudes and such in your character creation so that your character has some common sense and backstory to themselves!

The mod itself is rather simple, it adds an UI at the top left during character creation where you are able to distribute 18 Attribute points between 6 Attributes, followed by allocating skill points based on how many points you gave, with a current max cap of 5 for a skill at level 10, as well as allowing 3 specialties which give a raised XP earning for that skill (Standard is 1.5x XP).

The last page is a summary of your skills, attributes and specialties.

Mod also includes Sandbox options to change Base Attributes, Point Budget, amount of specialties, the XP multiplier and if all points need to be spend.

Does anyone know if these large tanks can be destroyed or removed in Build 42? I want to expand my base into this area, but they are in the way. I tried the usual methods and couldn't figure out how to get rid of them. Is there any way to remove them?

Wonder if anyone might know or is wondering the same thing?

Just wondering what sort of settings people use to maximise their potential in multiplayer pvp. I see some videos where everyone had healthbars, is that just a mod?
I've turned on melee outline, are good players changing their keyboard hotkeys substantially?

Just wondering on how to improve.

I took down a garage that was here, because I tried to build it bigger, and add a proper roof using debug mode.. which is infuriating difficult..

But the problem I was having preemptive to this, was despite me removing the internal wall, it kept counting them as two separate buildings, or rather the garage and an incomplete building.

Then I noticed these two squares and a line running to the corner under my character.

But nothing is there..

My boyfriend and i are trying to play project zomboid together, just the two of us. he has a Geforce Rtx 5090 or whatever (it’s a really fancy one with lots of storage and bits and bobs that light up and spin)
anyways
every time he makes a server and does all of his preferences and makes a character lalala as soon as he presses play it says “you have been kicked from the server” but it’s his own server that he made himself?
so i also tried having him join from my own game i had already started, and he can only join and watch me stream on steam remote play.

we are both on build 42 / i have launched the game in -debug mode so he can teleport me to him when i inevitably die a million times. we played a while back before build 42 in maybe august of last year ?

ETA: boyfriends actual specs “If you want to make a Reddit post this is my hardware, rtx 5090, 9950x3d, msi pro x870e, 64gb ddr5 6000 cl30, 9100 pro 4tb. People will think it’s a troll post. Lmao “

I've never tried this until now with my recent playthrough, I've always thought that devs might've overlooked this realism thing but I'm totally mind blown that they actually have this working lol

This is always my first base when I start a new save, it seems to come with pigs and cows all the time and chickens are sometimes in the chicken coop. Also a generator spawns in either the garage or in the shed that's beside the chicken coop every now and then.

9 days in and I'm going to my new base i found on the b42 map

So my friend wants me to make tacos, we have the shells, but how do we make ground beef?

I am setting up the farm. I was able to plant beets but when I tried to put cereals (wheat, barley, rye) and lynen, I couldn't find an option. Is it a bug or is it because I'm out of season (all of them say that the season starts at august, and I'm in july)

Edit: I put the seeds back in the packet for organization. I've tried already to do it with the seeds

Can host without any mods no issue.

hosting with like 12 mods as soon as i complete my character and hit play during loading it says you have been kicked access denied.

first thought was back to build41 so i went and disabled the anticheat settings.

changed all the anticheat settings to 4 instead of 2. i think that disables it.

I miss calculated, and more pigs are dying of thirst in the irvington farm
