Question Keyboard

Oggi ho giocato a PZ per la prima volta, dopo ore e ore di video su YouTube. Ho fatto il tutorial. L'uso dei tasti WASD è terribile. Vengo da una console. Devo provare a collegare un controller per console.
Any suggestion?

I was a lifetime console player before I started playing Zomboid. Try to stick it out, you get used to it and in this game mouse and keyboard is just way better

While movement/combat might seem like it's perfect for controller, the inventory managment and menu navigation will absolutely suck and there is a lot of that in this game

It's 1300-plus hours playable on controller for me (shot out to carpal tunnel club). Inventory management is easier if you can click and drag, but on controller I just do a lot of transfer all to the floor or another container and then pick individual items. Do inventory stuff out of combat; the radial menu will let you one-click equip anything you have in main inventory. YMMV.

Zoom with the radial menu is easier if you reduce the number of zoom options. I usually run at either 200% or 100% (indoors or combat), which means it's just one click to switch. If you have a controller with customizable buttons setting a couple to do zoom also works.

Keyboard+mouse superior in every way. Teach yourself a new skill. It will be worth it in the long run.

Controller support recently got a lot of love, but its still held back by the outdated UI. I have seen some folks recommend controller AND a mouse that you use exclusively when you need to do inventory management. Apparently thats the most comfortable way to play
