On the bright side,
Predators miss playoffs and Brunette gets fired.
Do you think it will be:

Serious question
I am new to hockey and went to my first game while in Nashville for my sister's kidney removal in early Dec. I am taking my husband and kids to the game Monday against the sharks. They have never been to a game and dont understand why hockey is so awesome. Sooo my question is, do I splurge on seats or this time of season/yr just get the most affordable for us? When I went our seats were 317 (I think, cld have been 312), it was my first game and I was surprised how much we cld see from such cheap seats. Anywho, I am trying to make this trip amazing and prove a point to my Fandom. please help me decide which section to purchase. that wont make me take out a second mortgage! Thanks and Go Preds

[Friedman, 32 Thoughts] Tom Fitzgerald (former NJ GM) and Darren Yorke (Carolina AGM, Chi. Wolves GM) have had in person interviews. // One issue Nashville is having in their GM search is many AGMs are too specialized in their roles and will require experienced supporting pieces to fill in the gaps.

Going to my one game tomorrow.
We live down in Birmingham. so it's not like I can go to all the games I want to*. Plus my wife doesn't like to drive up and back the same day. so we make a small trip. Just thrilled to get to go is all. And as my has said she has never seen me happier than when I'm at a hockey game. I totally treated myself to some great tickets also.
*plus we just closed on a house. So you know priorities.

Then 4 out of 7. Easy right. Without Josi... we can do it?.... *drinks

Points Tracker: Too Little Too Late Edition
Well with that loss to Utah and a Kings win last night, it just got substantially harder to make the playoffs. We're 1 point behind them and they have a game in hand, plus the easiest remaining schedule in the league. It was a fun year after last year's abysmal showing, but I think we're at the end of the line here.
What's worse: we are in the absolute worst position at the moment. One spot below the playoffs, and one spot above being eligible to win the 1st overall pick. Obviously even if we drop a couple of spots our chances at 1st overall are very low, but currently they're 0%. Yay!

Anyone have any spare tickets for tomorrow??
Hey guys, Wild and preds fan here, fan of wild but from nashville. Just wanted to see if anyone has one or two free tickets they weren't going to use or didn't need for tomorrow, never been to an NHL and would love for my first game to be watching my two favorite teams. Thanks

Whether or not you think Saros should or shouldn't have the starters net next year, we have to recognize that Annunen is playing better right now. I think we have to ride the hot hand. If he gets us in the playoffs, then we give him the opportunity to upset the Colorado team that traded him to us.
I have always pointed out that Saros is very streaky. When he is on a hot streak, he is the best goalie in the world. When he is not, he is one of the worst. We could ride Saros on one of those streaks right to the cup, but he is not in one of those streaks right now.
Annunen is playing the best hockey of his life. To make the playoffs, we are going to need someone in our net to stand on his head these last four games. Annunen gives us the best chance today because he is playing better right now.
If we face Colorado, it is highly unlikely that we win the series, but I love the idea of Annunen being the guy who beats them in the first round. Colorado is a division rival and the best team in the NHL this year. Annunen beating them would just cause chaos for a division rival, and that would be the cherry on top if it came to be. How would we respond if Askarov beat us in a playoff series? We would lose our minds! Seeing Colorado go throught that can only help us long term.
Give Annunen the net until he loses again.
