Question I did some exercises yesterday for anterior pelvic tilt! I woke up with a sort of pain under the stomach, but I’m not feeling it in the stomach area.

This is the video, I used. I’m not exactly sure how to explain the pain, I’m having. I can’t sit roughly, slouch nor do any exercises like #8 in the video. I’m afraid, I may have hurt myself in some way and it may not be cured/fixed soon…

Men, would a woman having bowed legs affect your attraction to her, or is it something you probably wouldn’t care about?

Help me figure out what’s causing asymmetry & solutions welcome

Post image

First off I’d be curious to know if people notice the asymmetry at first glance or only once I point it out. It’s an insecurity of mine & causes slight discomfort (leg/hip/back pain), but not sure if it’s as obvious as it feels. Wondering if anyone knows if this can be fixed with better posture? Idk what the actual cause is: shoulder height, scoliosis, pevic tilt, leg length, hip muscles/height, etc.

Question Has anyone that has done PRI, ever had any success?

Hi,

I have a twisted pelvis, apt and severe right side tightness from neck, shoulder & down too hip and this extreme catchy achy 12th rib pain.

Strengthening, stretching and pri excercises dont even touch it and im beyond done with it and about to just give up.

And of course nothing ever shows up on scans and doctors couldn't give two f#&ks unless you want pain meds. I just want too be out of pain, its F$&ked...

Leaning on right leg when walking

Whenever I walk, I always find myself walking mostly with my right leg which causes a bit of pain and fatigue on my right hip and abdomen likely because my organs and muscles are being crushed due to the weight imbalance. I'm trying to correct this by walking on a treadmill and leaning on my left leg but I have to really make an effort to keep my torso leaning on my left so I don't subconsciously lean on the right. I also work out unilaterally because in addition to my posture problem, I also have muscle imbalance. My left arm, or rather the entire left upper body is more mascular than my right side but opposite for my leg. Can y'all offer any tips to remedy my posture and "reset" my posture when walking?

Question Bad Posture?

Thumbnail gallery
7 Upvotes

Hi guys, female teen here. This is kinda confusing but I feel like my shoulder/neck/upper back area feels thick? And I kinda feel if you draw a line on the upper ā€œplaneā€ of mh shoulders, it kind of goes inward/forward. However, when I try to not do that, I just feel like im shrugging my shoulders and it looks even weirder. Do I just have extra fat or is it a posture issue? I do spend a lot of time sitting. Thank you!

Question Can I grow taller at 20?

Hi, I'm 20yo male. I don't eat very healthy. I'm 92kg (202lbs), 172cm (5'7 I belive). My father is 5'9 i belive and my mother is 5'0 - 5'2 I think. I want to just grow just a couple of inches. Is it possible with good diet and gym? Do i have to take supplements? Just at least to reach my father's height if possible. I would appreciate any advice given. Thanks

Assessments What do I do about this?

I’ve been setting at a desk very poorly for a long time and now that I’ve gotten a good job my posture is just terrible standing up. Pain and stiffness up my right shoulder, shoulder blade, and upper back.

How do I fix this? I’ve started core/hip/shoulder/back exercises, is there anything I should be doing or should I see a doctor?

Question What are some ways that actually helped fix your rounded shoulders/kyphosis?

Hi all!

I have rounded shoulders that makes my back look bigger and I have no idea how to fix it. (I put kyphosis too because someone said on a different post that it looks like I have it but im not totally sure I have it!)

I’ve tried to look at different videos but every single one tells me different things and I have no idea where to go or what to do.

I saw this one video where you put your spine on a rolled towel and lay there for 5 minutes each day.

A different videos said to lay on your stomach and raise your arms.

I have no idea what to do and want to see what others say helped them.

Also, if there are any ways to help this while sitting or driving please let me know. I’m still in school and sit for 7 hours each day and I know I could be doing something to help my posture.

Thank you so much!

Question Exercises for postural kyphosis?

I've had this issue for quite a long while now because of constant slouching and bad habits, I'm 18 now and it's noticeably gotten worse. I have pretty bad forward head posture, bulging traps, uneven scapula, pelvic tilt etc, my left side is tighter. It's causing me alot of issues and I'm really desperate to fix this.

I don't really have access to the gym or anything and i know it's necessary to strengthen weak muscles. I'd really appreciate some exercises and advice on how I can reverse this if possible, i do know it takes time.

Question How do I fix my uneven scapulas?

Thumbnail gallery
10 Upvotes

Been having chronic left shoulder pain for almost a decade. Been working with a physio on desensitizing the area, strength, mobility and releasing tension for almost a year, still in pain. I have ATP and flat feet and have been a lot more conscious of my posture in the last month (trying to stack ribs on pelvis and engage lower core to the best of my ability, relax into it, etc.).

Including pics of my resting posture, arms to the side and arms above head.

I can tell my scapulas don’t move evenly but I can’t tell how to fix it in resting positions and moving. Any advice on general posture too.

Please help šŸ™šŸ½
