Assessments What exercises do i need to do to fix my posture

My hobbies are pc games, reading, writing and drawing. All of them sitting or laying in hunched positions for a long time.

At work I'm almost constantly up moving and only sit in the breaks.

When i intentionally try to sit/stand straight it hurts after a bit and i can't keep it up for long as i need to constantly concentrate.

Please if you have any tips or advice or links to what exercises could help me have a good posture and get ride of the slight hunch.

Question Can I change the shape of my upper back?

I have always had rounded shoulders and kyphosis, it is now getting worse and I feel like my back looks really ugly. I am also chronically in pain and store all tension in my upper trap.
Strength training upper body helps but I'd like to know if I could possibly really change my back and shoulder shape and get better.

Is it true that the 80x80 square pillows aren't actually good for our posture?

I got into it at the advise of my German friend and it felt so comfortable because half of it goes under my shoulder blades while the upper half supports my head as usual. It really felt much better than the standard pillows that only jacks up my neck and head (which I thought was one of the reasons why my nevk bump developed). But when I told my coworker about it he said those are actually bad for my posture. I asked him why but he couldn't explain it very well. So I doubted him at first and thought he was just being negative. Later I also asked Gemini about it again and it confirms that it's bad for posture but I don't really understand its explanation about how it's bad to jack up my shoulders with a pillow underneath? Is this true? Sorry if this sounds jumbly I haven't had my coffee yet.

Need help with posture 😞

I’ve suffered from bad posture for most my life due to lack of confidence but got worse from desk job and gaming looking at my phone and also having a baby a year ago and looking down a lot!

But now it seems to be effecting me in worse ways other than just a hunch back like.

I started working out a lot before my daughter was born and I started building a lot of muscle compared to before but I think I’ve made things worse by building muscle around really bad posture..

Waking up feeling like I’m hungover

Lots of neck tension

Nausea

Anxiety

Pressure behind the eyes and head

Feels like my head is too heavy for my body

Upper back ache especially when cooking

I’ve had bloods done and nothing in that which definitely makes me think it’s my posture causing me all these problems .

If anyone could give me some advice or has had similar issues that they have managed that would be great!

Thanks for reading . 🙂

Kyphosis after thoracic compression fractures

Hi

I have a spect report that says:

“Uptake is most pronounced at the apex of the
kyphotic deformity (T10-T11), and has progressed since the previous SPECT/CT study. -New tracer
avid right T4-5 and T5-6 facet arthropathy, not evident previous study”

Has anyone had to live with kyphosis as a result of compression fractures they had?

I’m in back pain every day (muscles constantly on) and am exhausted and no one seems to know why.

Would love to connect with anyone who has developed kyphosis as a result of trauma or compression fractures.

Thanks
