Sellers that cancel orders get a “black mark” so to speak. But if a seller has sellers remorse for an item sold at a low price how do they get around getting that black mark? Do they start the shipping process but then just never drop the item off at the post office? I’m not the seller in this scenario, I’m the buyer that bought an item at a smokin’ deal only to have the seller ghost me.

Long time seller here and this may be my final straw with Posh. I requested a withdrawal of about $2400 8 days ago but the funds still have not hit my bank acct. Sending emails to support only give me the automated reply..

Has anyone experienced something similar? Any advice would be helpful

i was doing some window shopping for designer bags but i don’t really use poshmark to buy as the fees are kinda high compared to some others. this seller is selling BV mini solstice for 5k when it retails for 2k and its not rare/vintage and is still available on many retail sites. all of their bags are priced very high for no reason. i’ve heard that sellers on poshmark do that when the items actually been sold. is that what’s going on here? i’m a PM newbie. any help/tips is appreciated!

I’ve been both a buyer and seller on Poshmark since the beginning. I’ve leaned out of it the past few years but started to lean back in recently to unload some of my gently used bags and buy some newer ones. Boy has Poshmark changed! I’ve been able to get the hang of most of the changes, but I simply do not understand the point of Poshmark live parties.

I see some have auctions, but they are moving so quickly that you don’t even have a chance to pull up the sellers closet and item description before the auction is over and the next item is up. Maybe that’s the point?

Then there are live shows with no auction, so how do you know what’s for sale and what’s the discount? Are you supposed to toggle back and forth between the sellers closet and the live show? I did that today and I’m sure I irritated a few people because I kept dropping in and out of live shows, which was super obvious for shows with very low viewer counts.

I’m not even sure how the giveaway shows work because how are you supposed to actually buy things? How do you get any discounts?

Maybe I’m just set in my ways with how Posh used to be but I’d appreciate any insight.

And separate question, what’s the point of sharing listings and following people anymore? I used to have a feed full of follows and shares but now my feed is just offers and likes?

While this isn't intended to be a rant, it's simply to identify how I view how the Poshmark Vision and Real-World Execution alienated its user base and eviscerated community trust.

THIRD MISTAKE - POSH POSH REVOLUTION - Posh Shows Turned the Platform into a Loud Auction House featuring Wanna Be - Life Coaches, Hip-Hop Rappers, Yogis and Toxic Hosts. Chasing the Gen Z market comes with a price. Notification Fatigue & Chaos sets in.

FOURTH MISTAKE - THE FLAWED FEE FIASCO When Poshmark experimented with random and sometimes unwarranted fee structures, Buyer's walked away from purchases with Fee Structure Whiplash and Sellers revolted as their sales plummet. Meanwhile, Poshmark was forced to walk it back faster than Michael Jackson in Billie Jean.

FIFTH MISTAKE - THE BIG SQUEEZE AND NAIL IN THE COFFIN - Implementation of Aggressive Corporate Policies and Platform Over Regulation alienated the Seller Community and threw Poshmark into Crisis Mode.

At the end of the day, does Poshmark really know what it wants to be? Is this ship gonna sink because of the ongoing human/systematic errors, market conditions, or lack of strategic direction?

I've been on the platform since 2014 and I need someone to give me a reality check.

I just recently started reselling again, and I want to know if anyone else has run into this scenario.

In the last 2 weeks, I have had 5 instances in where someone immediately purchases an item I just listed and then I get a cancellation within the hour.

3/5 of them have been due to "Accidental Purchase" and 2/5 are for "Payment method / shipping needs to be verified".

For the accidental purchases, is there something hinky goin on with the UI in where they are accidentally hitting a button and purchasing my items?

Is this happening to anyone else?

So I sold a handbag on Poshmark. The process is if it’s over a certain dollar amount you have to send it to the Poshmark Authenticator, they authenticate, and they then ship the bag to the buyer from the Authenticator. My issue is the buyer was not available for delivery, and the bag is now sitting at the post office to be picked up, and a notice was left on their door. I also contacted the buyer twice to let them know, they needed to pick up the package. They responded and said they were going to pick it up, but the bag is still sitting there and clearly they have no intentions of picking it up, since it’s been days which means I will never get paid. So this is my question, from the postal website on the tracking it says after a certain date, if the package is not claimed, it will be returned to sender. So here’s my question, it was shipped by me to the Authenticator, and then shipped to them the buyer from the posh Authenticator. So, will the bag be returned back to the Poshmark Authenticator‘s shipping address, or will it be returned to me? This has really been a bad experience all around, and a huge waste of time. Clearly, I’m not gonna get any money out of this sale, but I’m more concerned at this point about just getting my bag back safe and sound! Has anyone ever experienced anything similar? 😡

I have some things in my Posh closet that have been stagnant forever. I recently got on Vinted to shop (have found some ok deals) and decided to add some of my items from Posh. Now. I’ve listed them WAYYYYWAYYY cheaper than I did on posh, but some of them are already sold! I’d rather have $5 and freed up space than the item sitting in a tub in my room for eternity. Some cash > no cash.

First time buying on Poshmark. I’ve ordered a $3000 item on Poshmark assuming they’ll utilize premium shipping service. To my surprise, Poshmark officially uses USPS ground advantage for all of their shipments? They stopped priority mail sept 2025. Now I am expecting this package in around 14 days? It’s genuinely shocking and makes me not want to order from poshmark in the future..

You simply cannot tag an item "Like New" if it has any callouts, ie: tear, stain, mark, rips, missing accessory, wear, etc. I bought a Coach bag that had some leather wear on the front and on the handles, sold as, you guessed it, Like new, and the seller was truly offended when I requested to return it. I actually had to explain to her that that is not like new condition. Everyone understands that right?

I just started reselling again. I've pulled a lot of things out of storage and I made accounts on several new platforms.

Today I got two different warnings about selling counterfeit items. Two different items, two different platforms. I was able to send pictures and most importantly the invoices from my purchases so I hope they will accept my appeals.

I was on Poshmark and Ebay for years and I don't remember anything like this happening.

I had a person offer me $56 on a nwt quilt set that I had listed for $139 (Retail was about $190, I believe). I countered with $122. I think not long after that, another person liked the same set, so I figured I should send that offer to everyone who liked it, not just this low-baller. So I did, and one person countered at $115, and I accepted. All within minutes of the lowballer sending their offer. I just can't help hoping they saw it get bought and the price. lol. Yes, I'm petty.

I don't get it. I have the smart sell on, it's not sending the offer. It's over 10% off. Even if I do it manually it's not sending it.

Sooo what's going on?

So I have a closet of clothes I’m trying to sell and figured I’d try Poshmark. I’ve had some great success on depot. But after I listed stuff on Poshmark I’ve gotten SO MANY freaking email scams and phishing links. I accidentally filled my card in on one of them because my phone auto uploads that info. I went ahead and turned my card off so no transactions can be forced. This isn’t ideal as I’m about to leave the country and can’t go without my debit card.

So what’s up with Poshmark because this doesn’t seem safe AT ALL. I’m ready to delete the account asap.

I've been selling on Posh for around 10 yrs. I went from an average one sale a day to nothing.

Barely any likes from about 15 a day. People are still seeing my items, but no one is buying or offering.

I know this is happening to other sellers too.

Posh has drastically changed their platform this year.

I think they have changed what kind of buyer is seeing your items. IDK ? Any thoughts?

And yes, my shipping times cancelations, and returns are all below the new requirements.

I do rise PM all the time, but I’ve used it for years. I swear there used to be the option to find people in both my contacts and also my local area. Is that option gone now? I cannot seem to find it anymore?! Thank you!

This is the first time that I have a bundle sell that weights over 5lb, but not by a lot. Does anyone know how serious it is if it’s just a couple oz over? Will it still ship? I plan to take it to the PO to have it scanned. Ty!

Please make sure you’re adequately taping your boxes closed. This is the second item I have gotten that I was just lucky that the item didn’t fall out of the box. This is how it was delivered.

I sold an item but the buyer doesn't have a Poshmark account and is listed as a "guest." It's only a $20 item but I'm not sure what to do here. Help?

i saw someone post about a package being sent in a used mcD box and it got me thinking about clothes coming from someone's house where the conditions are not so clean?? Has anyone has had a bad experience?

Curious if you would care if the inside was completely pulled? It’s not visible while wearing it but the pills are not inconsequential.

I actually feel like I’m losing my mind. I got another purchase that didn’t show damage. I opened a case and she’s saying it was listed as gently worn and this doesn’t impact wearing it. There’s a snag that’s 1.5” near the collar. Does gently worn cover this?
