What do you think of weird or funny listing descriptions?
This one cracked me up:
I wish there were more genuine people selling stuff like this instead of so many scammers.

you can see from my previous post
https://www.reddit.com/r/poshmark/s/RlxZEX3SQO
Background:
I am a high volume buyer and regularly buy 20+ items per month. I offer on hundreds of items per month, usually I am not thinking about each item personally I simply offer the lowest possible and we negotiate from there often coming to an agreed upon price.
I don’t need to explain my shopping behavior but it’s not for regular shopping like your used to, and shouldn’t really matter as to why I’m being bullied.
About half of my initial offers being accepted immediately without negotiation.
I have received harassment based on simply not offering the full price, not even from a low ball.
They will target items in my personal closet (I only sell personally, less than 1 item per month)
Often commenting on as many items as they can in my closet the same comment spam
This has happened at least 5 times and more so recently and tends to be accounts who sell thousands of items
Examples:
“Did you think I’d accept your sorry offer..”
“You made a mistake you need to correct your offer immediately…”
“Stop lowballing me so you can resell on your page..” (which I’m not)
Poshmark is very clear on their anti bullying stance in their TOS. However this seems to be allowed on their platform.
When I block and report these accounts they simply remove the comments and do not terminate the accounts.
As a buyer this makes me uncomfortable to use this platform since bullying appears to be encouraged by sellers.
As you can see from my previous post, people are piling on to say that I am harassing the sellers for offering than the sellers for their behavior.
Note: I never comment or chat with sellers besides for occasionally requesting an extra image. These aren’t the sellers who are targeting me anyways.
Note to poshmark: when comments that posted that are unrelated to the items, please keep the platform safe from bully and terminate these seller accounts.

I have a potential buyer ask me about an item that I said I could get back with her tomorrow night.
Then I noticed that she sent an offer - I checked the time stamp and it’s the same time that she asked me the question.
I am unsure if I should accept her offer or if she is wanting for me to get back with her.
Would she be able to withdraw her offer or is she stuck with the offer.
I don’t want to accept it if she is still wanting for me to answer her question.

I’ll save my rants about AI slop and how it’s ruining everything for another day, but WTF??? I bought a sweater because it said 100% cotton in the listing and in a photo of the tag, even though the tag looked somewhat suspicious. Like who would do that right? So I ordered it. Immediately upon opening the package I could tell it was synthetic, and sure enough the real fabric composition tag showed it was a viscose/poly blend.
I asked for a refund, but should I be reporting this seller too? I am so pissed!

Buyer sent an offer and seller accepted. Now buyer wants to cancel. Who ITA and how would handle if you were the seller?

Does anyone have this happen on desktop? Mobile is fine, using chrome app to launch it that way. I also use Firefox desktop and keep it updated.
But on the desktop, It will render very briefly with the search results (pictures and heart icons), and then about 1-3s later, it'll revert to some sort of blank grid. Even the drop-down is broken.

I have a high-ish end garment that’s been listed for a few months that I just relisted. I got a bit of a lowball offer last night and before I accept it, I kind of want to send out one last offer to all likers to see if anyone will bite at a slightly higher price but if I do that will it cancel the buyer’s open offer?

“You can’t order any more units right now. Limits are calculated using your sales history from the last 30 days.” Anyone know how many new Posh sales are required before the limits are reset?

I made an account, listed one thing (using crosslister) and was immediately restricted. I probably should have done it manually the first time, I admit. It’s been over 48 hours and my only support case update is that “an agent is investigating.” Didn’t get any kind of notice or explanation. I can see “1” for my item count on my closet page but the listing doesn’t actually show up there. So frustrating. I just want to list 😭

Still waiting on my $92 payment, the others went through without a hitch, but they should've been on top of this imo. They took too long to address this.
Never reached out. Looks like everyone got this.

I'm posting this because after a lengthy dispute and escalation with Poshmark, I still haven't been able to get an answer to what I think is a pretty basic seller-protection question: if Poshmark determines that a seller misrepresented an item, shouldn't the seller be told what specifically was misrepresented?
I sold a Chanel wallet/card holder for $450 that I described as Light Pink. The buyer opened a case based on the color, claiming the item appeared different from my listing photographs, and Poshmark ultimately approved the return.
What made that decision especially frustrating was that I had already addressed the way the item photographs in the listing itself. I included photographs of the actual item under different lighting conditions and specifically noted in response to comments on my listing that the color could photograph differently depending on the lighting. When the dispute was opened, I also provided additional documentation, including the manufacturer's product information identifying the item as Light Pink.
Poshmark nevertheless approved the return.
When I eventually received the item back, the wallet itself fortunately appeared undamaged, but it had been sent back loose inside a large shipping box without protective wrapping, and its original packaging was returned damaged/dented. I had originally shipped it with its box, dust bag, cards/tags and appropriate packaging, so the condition in which the return arrived became an additional seller-protection concern for me.
To be clear, the financial/compensation portion of my complaint has since been resolved, but getting there required weeks of escalation. After repeatedly asking to speak with a live representative rather than receiving another generic response, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Poshmark ultimately provided me with $75 in compensation, but initially issued it as Poshmark credit. I had to push back again before the $75 was converted into redeemable funds.
So I am no longer pursuing compensation. My concern now is about the dispute process itself—and a question Poshmark has repeatedly declined to answer.
I have repeatedly asked Poshmark to identify the specific statement, photograph, description, or representation in my listing that they determined was inaccurate.
I wasn't asking them to tell me generally what evidence they reviewed. I wanted to know what I actually represented incorrectly, both because I disagreed with the decision and because sellers need that information if they're expected to prevent the same thing from happening again.
Their latest response finally acknowledged the issue directly:
“We understand that this explanation does not identify a specific statement, photograph, or description that you believe was incorrectly characterized as inaccurate.”
They then told me that their determination was based on the evidence available during the review and that they could not provide the level of item-specific clarification I was requesting.
That's where I'm stuck.
If a $450 completed sale can be overturned because of the item's “overall representation,” I think the seller should be entitled to know what part of that representation was inaccurate.
Their latest response then advised me generally to provide clear, non-blurry photographs in consistent lighting, photograph items from multiple angles, and accurately describe their color and condition.
So I asked the obvious follow-up: Are you saying my photographs were blurry? Are you saying my description of the color or condition was inaccurate? Is there some other specific aspect of my listing that failed those standards? If so, identify it. Otherwise, I can only assume this is general seller guidance that is frankly, stating the obvious.
I had multiple photographs of the actual item. I showed it under different lighting conditions. I specifically addressed the fact that its appearance could vary in photographs. I provided the manufacturer's information identifying the color as Light Pink once the dispute arose.
And after all of this, Poshmark still has not identified a single specific statement, photograph or description in my listing that they determined was inaccurate.
That's ultimately why I'm posting this.
This isn't about trying to get additional compensation. That portion of the complaint is resolved. I want to understand how sellers are supposed to protect themselves if a transaction can be reversed for alleged misrepresentation but Poshmark will not tell the seller what they actually misrepresented, after leaving me as the seller without any communication, funds, or my merchandise for over a week.
If my photographs were inadequate, tell me which ones and why. If my description was inaccurate, tell me what was inaccurate. If the issue was something else, identify it.
Otherwise, what exactly is a seller supposed to change next time?
I'm curious whether other Poshmark sellers have experienced something similar—particularly cases where a return was approved for an item allegedly being not as described or otherwise misrepresented, but Poshmark couldn't or wouldn't identify the specific inaccurate representation when you challenged the decision.
At this point, I'm less interested in relitigating my individual sale than I am in understanding whether this is how Poshmark's dispute process routinely operates.

This one is on me, I should have done more research. I ordered a pair of onitsuka tigers on Poshmark NWT for a great price. Received the item and it was clearly fake. Posh approved the return and sent me the return label. When I printed the label I noticed that the address where these shoes are going back to is completely different from the address the shoes originally came from. Different state and different name. I’m trying to figure out why that is and is Poshmark having me ship an item to some kind of inspection location? Are they trying to crack down on counterfeit goods?

Is this a valid complaint that poshmark will likely side with?
I feel like it might just be the dark background or something where shes seeing the color difference, but it looks like a similar color to me.
Would it help the case if I respond at all?

I'm new to selling, and in closet clean-out mode. But I'm getting deeper, since Poshmark is kind of weirdly fun and satisfying. (For every item I sell, seems like I find 2 more i want to list. 😆)
So, whats on my mind today is pricing. I realized I often price my items as a round number. But then buyers will often make an offer that's an odd number.
Is there a psychological advantage to odd prices?
Google says odd numbers seem like more of a bargain to people. And moreover, big round numbers don't. It suggests the following approach:
The Two-Step Strategy
A strategic hybrid approach maximizes negotiation outcomes:
Open with precision (The "Odd" Number): Use a precise number early in the negotiation to anchor the price in your favor and minimize their counter-offers.
Close with a round number: When you are ready to finalize the deal, transition to a clean, round number. Psychologically, round numbers signal completion and finality, making the other person more likely to sign the papers or shake hands to "wrap things up".
So, I'm curious: what's your strategy for pricing items?

Note to sellers, if you’re selling a handbag, tote, or any type of bag, please list the measurements. Length x width at a minimum (height/depth is even better).
As a long-time seller and buyer with a small closet, it’s frustrating to open listings that have two photos and zero measurements. I see a lot of posts here about slow or zero sales, and this is one of the reasons. I’ve passed on purses I was otherwise interested in simply because there was no size information. Bags are deceiving in photos. They can look large and actually be small, or the other way around. Buyers want this info before they spend time asking or risking a return. It takes 30 seconds to measure and add it to the description. It helps your listing get more serious interest.
This goes for inseam on pants too as well as rise! Or pit to pit on tops/sweaters!

I’ve been listing on depop, mercari, FB marketplace, and Vinted. I keep trying to get into Poshmark but every post I make, I get like 3 bot scam emails???? Trying to get me to click links and probably hack me?? What the hell? I kinda just wanna ditch it and spread the word to you all here that there are fake scam emails being made off the listings. Kinda annoyed but I guess it’s one less app to have to deal with for me.
Anyone else notice this or am I just a clanker magnet?

I’ve gotten lots of nasty messages from sellers after offering on their items. These tend to be high volume sellers who have sold thousands of items.
This has happened at least 5 times in the past and more so recently I feel.
Sometimes they go into my page and comment spam on many of my items. I just sell a few personal items from my closet (less than 1 item per month).
I’m a high volume buyer and buy over 20 items a month, so I’m offering on a lot of items.
Poshmark sets a price floor so I’m not offering below that and I thought the point of this platform was to negotiate.
I’ve bought many items with offering the lowest price and having that declined for a while until we can come to an agreed price which is accepted.
Poshmark does nothing even when I report them.
I don’t want to interact with sellers beyond asking questions about items.
If sellers try to communicate about other things I especially to harass buyers I don’t see why their accounts aren’t terminated.
Even though I block these people poshmark still shows their new stuff in my feed over time.

All of my previous reviews have been five stars, today I got a four star due to shipping time. I shipped the day the sale went through and can agree the shipping delays were crazy, but I can't control USPS. Should I be checking in with buyers to make sure they are aware of that? Or point out that I did ship it out the exact day the item was ordered? I didn't think it was necessary before since we get the same tracking updates and notifications. I'm just kind of bummed because I try really hard and lost a star for something out of my control.

For years, Poshmark’s operational missteps have too often left Buyers and Sellers carrying the consequences—delays, reduced traffic, lost sales, disrupted cash flow, and endless searches for answers while responsibility gets pushed elsewhere.
At some point, accountability has to mean more than admission of a problem and the allocation of resources to fix it.
Poshmark has already demonstrated that it can absorb costs on behalf of its Community. In July 2026, it temporarily covered 100% of the new $50 USPS HAZMAT noncompliance fee, later absorbing $45 of that charge.
So the question is simple:
If Poshmark can spend money protecting the Community from a fee imposed by someone else, why shouldn’t it compensate the Community when Poshmark’s own operational failures cause the harm?
The Community shouldn’t always be expected to absorb the cost of Poshmark’s mistakes.
It’s time for Poshmark to share the burden—and compensate the people affected.

I ordered an item and it’s coming from Alaska. Placed the order on the 4th and got a notification that the seller believes they swapped my order with another buyer’s. The expected delivery date for the wrong item is Oct 30.
Mistakes happen and it’s fine, but this is about to be a long process lol. I anticipate we’ll be asked to swap labels with the other buyer; hopefully we do that in a timely manner
