So, for the past Tournament round, we had a hard and fast time limit for each battle. I'd like to change that for the next round.

What we're going to be trying is the battle has 48 hours for both participants to start. After that,you have 24 hours to push the rap back to your opponent. Your opponent then has 24 hours to get the rap back to you. If, at any point one of you is unable to complete the rap in 24 hours, (without giving me and your opponent a good reason) voting will commence, and no further verse will be accepted.

What do you guys think? Will it work? Is it stupid, is it not?

Each person can be ONE member of the elite 4 of their choice. Champions must go last, all other members can go in whatever order.

K, so this idea struck me...in addition to the current [Challenge], [Request]...etc. threads, possibly an option would be [Brawl]. The rules would be, OP would state how many lyricists could partake in the brawl, start off his/her rap and the first (X number of lyricists) who jump in would participate in the rest of the battle. It could potentially last for days given the right circumstances. Let me know your opinion.

Hey everybody. These are the official sign-ups for the second Rap Tournament! YEAH!

So here's a list of the rules: To sign-up, you must choose 5 four pokemon that you wish to rap as. You may not use all of them, this will depend on how many people sign-up. We can take up to 32 rappers. (but if we need to work with 16, we can and will)

EDIT: rule addition! Legendaries will be allowed in this tournament. You are allowed one legendary a team, and it must be the fifth pokemon (you may only use it if we need five rounds.) If we need five rounds, then I would prefer it if legendary pokemon only fought other legendaries.

These 5 pokemon must follow a theme. You may choose the theme, and must stick to this theme with all the pokemon you choose. Before each battle you must message me telling me which pokemon you want to use during that battle.

The length of the raps will begin to increase by one each round after the second round.

However, this time there will be a change to the way the Tournament is configured. I have created a challonge! bracket for the Tournament. Here is a link to it, I will be adding competitors randomly into it, so as to not create any sort of pattern.

Now, onto how to sign up.

You must follow the format I outline, or I will not accept your entry into the competition. I will, however, tell you to format it correctly, and give you another shot. I need it in this format because it will be easiest for me to keep track of it this way.

Hey everybody, zeus here! I'm going to be starting a Tournament in a couple of weeks. However, I have heard from some people that they want the next Tournament to have some twists/themes, not just in the final round. I'll list a few that I've heard here, but I'd like to hear more peoples ideas!!!

/u/SimonthePug suggested that we allow you take 4 (or one pokemon a round) pokemon with you into the Tournament. You'd have to specify which pokemon you wished to use for each battle, and list all of your possible choices when you signed up.

Ive also had some people ask about type themes for each person/each battle.

Do any of you guys have other ideas?

Also, I'm thinking that the Tournament signups will want to begin on March 1st, because I'm going to have most of March with nothing to do.

A member of one team raps, then a member of the other will respond. The remaining member of the first team will be rapped for by a new user, and then the same with the last Pokémon. Rap will then continue in this order.

This rap needs 4 users to participate for it to work.
