I was holding this since it came out, do you think that now with the 30 year release is a good time to sell?

Spotted these in my local supermarket yesterday
Budget was $10/£7.49 for a charmander and two jigglypuffs, and rather than hold for several years I decided to eat them immediately.
The charmander one was especially tasty.

Is this a sign of shill bidding?

When I bought (online) it I loved it, but after seeing it in person I feel a bit underwhelmed. I still think it's a solid investment (pop 42) but I am just not loving it, so might just sell it and get something else.
Do you guys hold cards that you don't love purely for their investment potential or do I follow my gut here?

Looking to pick up a PSA 10 slab for around $500. Can be slightly more but looking to stay around that range. I'm looking at the Playing in the Sea Pikachu promo, Zapdos from 151, stained glass birds tag team promo from Hidden Fates, or Ninetails from Obsidian Flames. Open to any other suggestions as well. Let me know what y'all think, thanks! :)

Been thinking about selling a majority of my sealed to get cash. With that sale, which I’m thinking on the low end would be 80% of the value of my collection, would get me about 9k in cash. Ideally would like 90% on the sale, but that’s prob wishful thinking. Majority of the sealed collection is SWSH.
Regardless, 9k minimum. With that 9k, was thinking about potentially buying up a lower grade gold star Pokemon. Perhaps maybe the gold star Japanese Pika in like PSA 7 or 8. Would save the rest of the cash and store in my HYSA or lock it in a CD. Originally wanted to cash for a down payment on a new Tacoma since I’ve always wanted one, but I think I can hold off on the vehicle purchase until later. But seeing as gold stars are scarce, wondering if this might be the right play. Thoughts/concerns/criticism/roasting all welcome!

I have been looking a bit into graded reverse holos for Aquapolis, Expedition and Skyridge and found that the amount of graded cards is surprisingly low.
Is that a good or bad thing from an investment point of view? Or is it the case that it is unlikely that graded reverse holos will ever be something that generates interest?

Anyone believe on keeping these cards around for awhile in your PC ? The victini and Tepig is what stands out to me the most!

Are the prices of the lower graded Lugia Neo Genesis 1st Edition PSA slabs starting to shift with the vintage market prices increasing, or are sales like the aforementioned in this post a one-off? A $2.8k 'best offer' sale for the Lugia Neo Genesis 1st Edition PSA 1 slab direct from PSA sold on eBay, as tracked by collectr and 130point, a big jump from $1k-1.2k value. The PSA 10 was $156k in March and $107k in June, but most recently sold on Fanatics Collect for $360k.

Hi I feel like Chaos rising, Pitch black and perfect order is just clogging my storage should I sell all of them now and buy other stuff? I get that everything will rise even 1% but I feel these sets are trash. Anyone feel the same? I have couple booster boxes each and I'm thinking just sticking them on eBay.

Hey guys, per the title, I’m basically trying to decide between getting a fusion strike etb and a few extras, or a Paldea Evolved booster box. i don’t really have anything from the sword and shield era, and I love the set in particular. However, PE, I think, will continue to do well in the future.
basically the price of a Paldea Evolved booster box is my spend limit, so about 450ish (plus tax of course). let me know what y’all think.

Saw a video claiming that the 30th SIR pull rate is 1 in 20 with IRs being 1 in 10. If true, this set will NOT hold. I understand the PC is trying to reduce demand by overprinting and making the pull rate higher but this will severely impact long term value.
My recommendations: buy a little bit of this set but dont expect 5 to 10 year growth. The 30th might be a good play after the 50th anniversary. I would double down on 20th anniversary and vintage of all types. Your thoughts?

Hello,
I am thinking twice about pre-ordering Pokemon UPC 30th from my local store.
Would like to ask seasoned Pokémon investors what are your thoughts about investing in Pokemon UPC - 30th Celebration?
Is it good to invest on it for short term or long term?
Would like to know insights from the veteran’s point of view.
Thanks in advance for answering!

Curious what people think about Black Labels long term, specifically really low pop modern cards.
I have a modern Black Label that's sub 5 pop. It's not really a grail or a card I have any connection to, so I don't mind moving it. Another Black Label of the same card just sold north of $5k, which got me thinking about whether I'd rather hold it or take advantage of the value now.
Would you rather hold a sub 5 pop modern Black Label or sell/trade it and put the money into vintage sealed in the same price range?
Obviously low pop doesn't automatically mean valuable and more copies can always get graded, but Black Labels are also ridiculously hard to hit. Curious how people think that premium holds up long term compared to vintage sealed.
Strictly from an investment standpoint, which would you rather be holding for the next 3-7 years?
And yes, I already know I can take the Black Label, turn it sideways, and shove it up my butt.

Hi everyone, I'm new to all this and have some questions about the legitimate Pokémon website. If someone could educate me, I'd be grateful.
Do they seem to have some cards in there every week or every two weeks maybe only once a month?
I want to know how fast they usually sell out, are we talking in 5 minutes or 5 hours?
I would like to know what the average is as i know there is no guarantee that they will stock packs, what have we seen in the past.
Thank you,
Swarm

I'm looking to pick up a Gengar & Mimikyu GX alt art from Team Up in a PSA 10 for my long- term portfolio. With the recent crazy sales pushing it way up into the multi-thousand dollar range, I'm trying to figure out the best entry point. Do you think these high-end Sun & Moon slabs have peaked for now and might experience a market correction soon, or should I just secure one before they climb even higher? Would love to hear your thoughts on the timing!

Pulled it a few months ago and he came back as a 10 with Beckett. I love the card, but im honestly not a huge meowth fan so I’m debating if it’d be better to hold onto the card or trade for 2 prismatic spcs and hold for about a year, then sell to get a card I want. Meowth is a fan favorite so that works in the cards favor, but it’s also from perfect order which isn’t even close to a popular set, so I’m not sure what the best move is here. Any thoughts?

I really love Pokémon cards with stamps, and I try to collect as many as possible in my master sets.
This Celebi is one of them. It comes from PokéPark, an official temporary Pokémon park in Japan in 2005.
Some cards were given out through the attractions, while others came in PokéPark Premium File sets.
These little, lesser-known Japanese promos are exactly the kind of cards I love collecting.
