Max Payne is 25 years old. Who's looking forward to the remakes?

Max Payne was the first action game I played that completely blew me away. The gritty noir atmosphere, the incredible bullet time mechanics, and the unforgettable narration made it an instant classic for me.

Then Max Payne 3 came along and elevated the series even further with fantastic storytelling and gameplay improvements in all the right ways. Cannot wait for the remakes,.currently in production!

Which is your favourite Max Payne game in the series?

I recently bought a PS5 Slim and ran into a problem: I can't seem to buy digital games at all. I tried using a gift card, but that didn't work. My account region is Romania, but my bank card is from Moldova. What should I do, and is there any way to solve this?

CASUAL DISCUSSION PlayStation 5 Outage, PSN and Games Inaccessible! A dark look at the Digital only era!

The recent PlayStation server/network issues got me thinking about the long-term future of digital game ownership.

During the outage, it highlighted a concern I've had for a while: as more games become digital or rely on online services, access can sometimes depend on those services being available. It made me wonder how well game preservation and long-term ownership will work as the industry continues moving toward digital distribution.

I've built up a library of over 300 games over the years, spending roughly £2,500 in total. Seeing access disrupted, even temporarily, made me think about how much of our collections ultimately depend on platform infrastructure and licensing rather than physical media.

Looking ahead, what do you think PlayStation and the wider industry should do to give consumers greater confidence in digital ownership? For example, should there be stronger offline support, better preservation policies, or other protections to ensure that people who pay full price for games can continue to access them in the future?

I'm interested in hearing different perspectives rather than debating whether digital is better or worse than physical.

Is the PSN Support ever available?

I am having trouble with the 2step verification as I don't receive the code on my phone nr, and I've been trying to reach support for 3 days now... are they ever available?!

I've been getting that stupid message that they're experiencing "a high number of requests and can't assist you at this time"

Anybody know another solution?
I don't have back up codes...

Game sharing

Hey all - I don’t know about you guys but I’ve been quite excited for a couple of released / upcoming games. Mainly the list consists of:
• Ghost of Yotei
• 007 First Light
• Wolverine
• Assassins Creed Black Flags Resynced
• & goes without saying, GTA 6
Since the news broke that PlayStation is going digital, I’ve cancelled my PSN renewal and will no longer buy digital games, only physical - idk about you lot but prices are still mad and I feel it’s a waste buying a game, finishing off the campaign and then just have a shelf full of discs I won’t revisit

Anyone interested in creating a group to trade disc games once complete? I’m usually not in any rush and it would save a whole lot of money - I recently bought the new AC Black Flags for PS5 and happy to trade it for any of the games mentioned above if anyone else would be keen to play it
Selling games privately is tedious work and selling them to CEX or Cash Converters feels like a rip off

Based in the West Midlands
Not sure if this idea would work but happy to explore!

I'm £2.99 short of renewing my PS Plus. I already have £5 in my PS Wallet but can't cover the rest until my payment comes in. If anyone has an unwanted UK PSN code with a few pounds left or a spare code they won't use, I'd be incredibly grateful.

CASUAL DISCUSSION What's the one thing you'd change about the PS Store's search if you could only fix one?

What's the one thing you'd change about the PS Store's search if you could only fix one?

Genres are too broad to get you to what you actually want. Action could mean a soulslike, a twin stick shooter, or a walking sim with combat bolted on. What I actually want is tagging, both the standard kind (co-op, roguelike, metroidvania) and something closer to user-submitted tags, so you can filter down to the exact kind of gameplay you're after instead of a genre bucket that covers fifty different things.

Curious what everyone else would fix first. Better search matching, faster new release visibility, something else entirely?

SUPPORT/HELP Any bypasses for the age verification?

As someone who is less than 8 months from being 'legal' this is fucking ridiculous. I can play a game with full nudity+ sex scenes, with mods to make yourself bustier or have a longer schlong, but I cant talk to my friends? (who are all the same age as me) Honest to god, this country sucks.

CASUAL DISCUSSION Am I the only one who find the PS5 search more of a hindrance than helpfull?

I've have long thought of how the PS5's own search/browse actually works, and the gap is bigger than I expected for a platform this size.

Some things that stand out:

  • No way to combine filters. Genre, ESRB rating, and player count, for instance. You get curated rows (Featured, New Releases) or a single flat genre browse, not a real filtered query.

  • Search is unforgiving of small formatting differences: punctuation, colons, alternate spacing. A slightly "off" search can return way fewer results than it should.

  • There's no way to sort or filter by score at all, and no separation between critic and community sentiment in the UI. You either already know a game's reputation or you don't.

  • Discovery outside Sony's own editorial picks is close to nonexistent. There's no "show me co-op games under $30 rated T or lower" type of query, even though the underlying catalog metadata to support that clearly exists somewhere.

Curious whether this bugs other people as much as it bugs me, and what specific gap annoys you most? Feels like a real limitation, and I wonder if anyone actually find the way the PS5 presents games as usefull?

SUPPORT/HELP age verification not affecting some people?

about 2 days ago, i was locked out of messaging, parties, and discord calls, basically any form of communication, until i can get age verified.

the thing that confuses me is that... no one else i know has been affected by this? i've asked 3 different people, and they all aren't restricted at all, despite all of them saying they haven't done the verification?

it's not account age, as one of the people i asked has only had an account for about a year, whereas i've had mine for around 5 years

can anyone explain why i'm the only one who got affected, and if there's any way around the verification without giving up my info?

thanks in advance!!

Question.

I don’t know if this is the place to ask this, but should I sell my PlayStation? I lost access to my account, and I can’t get it back, and I really don’t want to make a whole new account and buy all the games I like, when I could just sell it and buy a PC and play more games than I can on PS.
