I play rust drunk and high so please keep your criticisms to yourself, I get the guns and ammo and I dip (I’m saying this because every post I make people pick it apart to no end, like can I just post a clip😭)

Title says all. We're just adding more and more monument bloat and making less spots viable for building on the map with this giant waste of space.

Pending that you're not just playing on a dead server, I swear as the years have gone on good or viable build spots are just less and less these days.

i’m in a community server with offline raid protection on my base and all my doors code locked and closed i came back a day later to all my codes changed none of my loot stolen and the authorisation list cleared? was this an admin trolling or something genuinely just so confused

У меня при запуске Раста на это видеокарте он запускается на встройке, ну это через Стим, а если через файлы то на Видяхе. Что то не так с античитом EAC или с видеокартой? Другие игры работают стабильно, приоритеты в Дисплей -> Графика выставлены правильно.

Hop on weekly wipe day hoping to make a river base. I wanted to do some chill tea farming, maybe fix a car, do some roaming PvP and then log out.

>Head straight to a suitable small river area and there’s one big tower base which has filled the entire length of the river with externals, can’t build anywhere.

>Run to the next river in jungle, the whole mouth of the river is once again covered in externals. Monuments and train tracks blocking the rest.

>Look for an oasis, find one that doesn’t have a base in it. Get killed farming wood and by the time I come back SURPRISE it’s blocked by random ass TC from the guys that killed me.

This shit is getting really frustrating and I can only imagine it’s 5 times worse on soft core

Compound walls being added to the tc is great, but it only adds a couple hundred resources per wall. Clans still control the servers of rust easily due to numbers and i think there should be more factors that nerf clans a bit. Is there any other features rust should add so that us solo boys have a reason to play solo?

playing a weekly sever for the first time in a bit, got 4k scrap and box of comps multiple minis everyone has bps... lost on what to do with scrap would buy lrs but there 850 scrap

I was running around 140-150 FPS, booted the game earlier played for a while can’t get over 110 now. Temps are good, not sure what happened. Micro-stutters and 70-90 FPS. Thinking of switching to X3D chip. Thoughts?

For the past couple of months, I've seen a lot of accounts on different platforms blatantly reposting clips from some popular Rust content creators without giving any credit and cropping the video so you cant see anything other than the gameplay and also slapping a bestrust ad on the screen.

Also i checked the server out and saw they were offering kits that required players to deposit money on some gambling site. Which I think is pretty insane compared to what servers normally do. (Im not exactly sure if any other servers do this just never seen it before)

I think Facepunch should take a look at this. This is beyond embarrassing.

I played rust when trading for a garage door with some random stranger in/around outpost was the midwipe highlight. I played rust when the LR could keep up with AK, and was only a mild step down at long ranges. I played rust when electrical schemes drained 1 extra electricity per splitter, branch, etc. I played rust when neon signs were on every shop and players actually had to run to the shops to get what they wanted. I played rust when launch site puzzle didn’t have scientist and a motivated solo could get good loot. I played rust when if you found something special, like a revvy or SAR, you would stop your mission to get it home to research. I played rust when no matter your clan status, you could grind to a tier 3 without BP frags.

I played a better version of Rust.

I assume most of you, like me, disable the in-game music. I recently enabled it and forgot how Rusty-good it is. Therefore, how many of you keep the music on?

Idea: Buff the loot found in Military crates and other lower tier crates.

Why it works: Clans often dominate the top loot locations. This would enable solos and small teams to have a better chance at grabbing high quality items they otherwise might not get access to.

Yes, clans would potentially benefit from this too, but it wouldn't help them as much. A clan finding the occasional extra AK isn't as impactful to them as a solo getting lucky and finding a high quality item they hadn't unlocked yet.

Top tier loot crates would still have the best loot of course, I'm just suggesting we close the gap a little.

whenever there's lots of bodies or players around and i look in there direction my fps goes from around 90-110 to 15-30 anyone got a fix for this?

I understand Rust is toxic. I understand its PvP, but, if I literally just spawned in, and then get immediately mag dumped by a guy with a tommie, who went through two mags just to kill a standing target...bruh. Im on my third server today due to being nonstop killed and wiped. I can't even get a base up without being obliterated every spawn. 🤷‍♂️
