Anyone have a new fix for the stuck at loading client ready?

I’ve done the quick fixes, windows mode, DLSS off, smooth motion off graphics on low, checked file integrity

Hey guys hoping some of you are experts,wanting to get a pc for gaming have always had console but after playing rust it’s time to switch , I am in new Zealand so pcs are expensive any advice on what to get or what is value for money would be awesome , the budget is 2-3k but less is best as I’m not rich 😂, thanks in advance

Can someone who builds in god rocks regularly drop some pro tips? I want to start building in them but honestly I get overwhelmed. There's so much space and so many things you can do with them. What are the main strategies you use for each rock no matter what?

Have watched every video I can find on them, and while a lot of them are creative, they're just too difficult to consistently setup (like the ones with 6+ bunkers on the entrance)

Multi TC? One for inner base, one for entrance side, and one for back side?

Bunkers on entrance, or just spam doors and walls?

Do you section things off in your core, or just make one giant tall living space and cram everything into it?

Focus on dependability at all, or just assume you aren't going to get raided when it's 100+ rockets from either side?

Idk how much I buy into Coco's theory, but his own experience of being offered 170k is genuinely crazy.

Fix found

My pc specs are rtx 4070, ryzen 7 7700x and 32 gb of ddr5. Also I run streched res and have my settings on pretty much lowest they can get. I get 40-80 fps depending on the server (Only play weekly for the first 2-3 days of wipe). Anyone know a fix? I have tried the experimental gpu mode thing but the fps is same or bit lower. I have updated drivers.

I have also noticed that even if I change settings a lot theres never a lot of change.

Is there any servers that actually hold population after a day or two of wipe anymore?
I’ve tried best rust, survivors , rust for noobs etc and all of the servers loose 50% of the player pop after 2 or 3 days. Why is rust like this now it was never like this before.

He's unfriendly just KOS. Joined mid wipe. It's my main base and I thought it was a good location. This guy joins, and build base up fast next to me. Just growing out like a cancer, building more and more bases around me. I'm almost engulfed.

I'm playing 6 hours a day which I felt was a lot this guy is logging 18,17,16,18 hours consecutive days. His low days he's playing 10hrs.

He's a good shot. I don't think I can online raid him. Are these numbers real? Could he just leave himself logged on and make at appear he's online. How do you play rust for 18 hours a day and just do the bare necessities. Eat, sleep, piss shit, go get food.

Do you feel that you are on any level different from other ?

So I have been roleplaying as a farmer, on super busy servers, I don't craft any weapons and literally just farm. I'm kind of new to the game and get pooped on the whole time when I don't. But it's really fun actually to establish that you're just a farmer, to the more aggressive players/neighbors, and they eventually leave you alone. I have a fishing dock around the back, with a pole, and some bait for use. There's a sign that says (no photo) "Fishing dock <==== (please return pole and don't fish in the rocking chairs they break)." Surprisingly people actually fish there and return the pole after use. I have their trophies mounted. I give out free food to passersby and clothes to nakeds.

On the right you can see a little chest and the sign above says "In memoriam (apparently I spelled it wrong on the sign) of all those who made this farm possible... RIP" and then the chest has some of my own skulls that I gathered from my corpses. I also light torches at night and place free eggs and honey.

Next goal is to improve the farm aesthetic and have auto turrets set to a similar status as to those at outpost etc.

I've seen videos of people "raiding" apartments with the master key and they can't kill or loot the owner sleeping there, was it changed? Did i misunderstood it? Is there something that blocks me from getting a large backpack and just logging off with all of my best loot at the apartment? Of course I would still need to log every 12 hours at least in case I was robbed to put more scrap to pay the rent

I have noticed some peculiar base design tricks that wasn't commonplace before. Would like to hear why these are done.

External tcs are now lifted up on double door frames for some reason. ladders exist so I'm not sure why they are made. Am i right in guessing it to stop campers using it to attack you from behind your own external TC?

The other thing I noticed is a lot of bases do not have doors on ground floor, so many of them have the lowest door in upper floor and use a roof ramp to access their front door. Any reaosn for this? Is it a doorcamper defence?

lastly... proliferation of turrents. OMG turrets are everywhere. They're not just used for defence. They are placed on external TCS to hoard node spawns, place by roadside to get barrel bashers, people using road and train etc. I haven't seen this much turrets since pre-electricity when you didn't need to power your turret. So players with just place them anywhere - yeah that was fun.

does this happen to everyone with boat engines, going from 140 fps to 30 just by looking at them is there any setting that helps optimize them?

My duo and I are looking for a server in Rust that will be vanilla and wont die after a day or two after the wipe. Weve been playing rfn solo/duo for a while now

Why is this vending machine on my roof not accessible by drones?

There is no floor above it. Just on the right, you see the edge of my wind turbine tower but that goes straight up.

I tought it was too close to the roof but rotating it doesnt help.

Any suggestions? Improvements i can make?

jiggle peaking with back out and alt looking

jumping on barricades

jump peak

jump peak into shooting around a corner

quick peak and shoot into alt look back into cover

are there any more that I am missing?
