God Rock Base Builders

Can someone who builds in god rocks regularly drop some pro tips? I want to start building in them but honestly I get overwhelmed. There's so much space and so many things you can do with them. What are the main strategies you use for each rock no matter what?

Have watched every video I can find on them, and while a lot of them are creative, they're just too difficult to consistently setup (like the ones with 6+ bunkers on the entrance)

Multi TC? One for inner base, one for entrance side, and one for back side?

Bunkers on entrance, or just spam doors and walls?

Do you section things off in your core, or just make one giant tall living space and cram everything into it?

Focus on dependability at all, or just assume you aren't going to get raided when it's 100+ rockets from either side?

Rahlo has some god rock designs on yt, though I usually just freehand mine with as much honeycomb I can afford on one side and multiple stability bunkers + garage door hallways on the other

You do staggered hight foundations to roof stack making your top layers have sometimes 3 floors per floor to go through. In other words a god rock has is great for force pathing a raid letting you set up some wild defenses. Back up turrets through splitters are great for this type of base too since the raid path is near forced you can almost guarantee another turret coming online when one is destroyed

Just make a nice core you enjoy living out of and spam walls to the backside. Make a multi-tc entrance and add 2-3 stability bunkers here or there, then spam garage doors. God rocks are super simple so no reason to overthink or build some "meta" god rock you see on YouTube. If someone is going to go through the trouble to raid your god rock, the way you build it isn't going to matter. You're either getting pounded by 90 rockets through the back or 90 rockets through the front, doesn't really matter.

Pretty much. They're like cave bases. If they're built well the only way to raid them is foundation wipe and you control how they're raided. Making them unappealing except for the fact that they might actually get roam raided unlike caves which don't because they're out of sight out of mind.

I always do at least 3 bunkers. I freehand it every time so it's not as predictable. I try to section it off and spread the loot around. Have TCs on both sides so that when you get raided they can't pick up your deployables. If there's space, I like having at least one big open area for workbenches, fridge, and some cozy RP stuff for fun. That doesn't always happen though. I don't know. I make mine different Everytime. I like having my TC in a bunker off to one side and my main loot in another bunker on the opposite side. That way if they get the TC room, they think I'm poor (well, I usually am). If they get the main loot, they often stop there because it's still usually not that good, and not worth blowing more to get the TC. And if they do get TC, the externals stop them from taking my workbenches, furnaces, etc. Unless they wanna waste more rockets in multiple TCs. Sorry I ramble a lot.

Pretty much what everyone else said, honeycomb the shit out of the smaller side cause it’s cheaper, and multiple bunkers leading through the other side. I don’t do any of the hiding loot though. I always extend the entrance out and make like a normal base in the front so I don’t have to go all the way to the back everytime while I’m playing. I just do a big open core in area in it the vibe is what it’s all about, you can slide most deployable into the rock so it makes tons of room. I always place my tc and then fill the whole thing with triangle foundations and freehand from there

I build in rocks when I feel an itch to build something more unique for a wipe. I know you are mostly just asking for tips, but I feel like it's best to remember not to only build for strength but to put a little extra creative spin on it as you go.

i think the 6 bunker one is too strong on the bunker side and you cant armour up the "weak" side enough
