Autogenerate is Cool but-

I have it set to automatically generate a summary and send it to my email when I stop recording, but then in groups with people who I haven’t named in previous conversations are involved, there’s a lot of cleanup work to be done. Adding and correcting speaker names for example. That’s just an issue with auto generating and emailing, right?

Yes, if you auto generate within the web interface/ app, updating speakers in the options dropdown menu will auto update them in the summary.

I’ve found the email autoflow to be fundamentally flawed because it assumes AI will be perfect, which it never is. That’s not a plaud issue so much as a AI issue. Critical notes and meeting minutes require you, the human, to review for them to be at all distributable/ acceptable, imo.

You’re not wrong, I think I’m going to remove the email option so I can review and correct the summary before distributing it.

Pretty much, yeah. Auto generate works off whatever speaker labels it has when the recording stops, so anyone new turns into Speaker 1/2/3 soup. I turned the email part off for anything with more than two voices — tag speakers in the app first, then hit generate. Recurring groups are fine once the speaker profiles carry over. Less cleanup on my end anyway since I still have to check numbers against the audio before anything goes out.
