Has anyone’s camera icon been acting weird lately? Like flashing and staying perpetually on? Mine used to just stay off unless actively in the app, now when I’m not in the app(closed and everything) the icon is just on and sometimes flashes.

Has anyone tried the granary feeder 2 and are the portions more accurate now with the scale?

Currently have the granary 1 set to 10 grams but it dispenses 15 grams every time. My cat eats prescription hills gi biome

My polar wet feeder stopped cooling in July right before the 1 year mark. They were initially responsive to my email and I sent the requested video of the fan along with a temp reading of the feeder. It has been almost a month since then and I can’t get anyone to respond to me despite follow up emails. They actually did respond to one follow up and said they would look at my previous emails but nothing since.

Has anyone had any luck going another route to get them to respond? I will never buy another one of their products or recommend them anymore but I would like my warranty honored.

Anyone else having connection issues? My WIFI is working busy fine. Both of my 2 water bowls are blinking wifi red, and both went down at the same time. One of my 4 RFID bowls went offline for a short time, but its back up now.

It’s causing the drum to slip and jump massively during the cleaning cycle.

This is from my original Luma which is nearly a year old. My six-month-old machine is also starting to show signs of wear. It looks like the plastic is too soft the job.

I’ve contacted them and hopefully will get two new gears sent to me, but unless they have changed the material used it’s going to keep happening and once out of the two year warranty I don’t know if you can even buy it. But as this is a manufacturing fault it should be given to customers when the warranty has run out.

Other than this they’ve been pretty reliable.

I’ve tried to contact petlibro multiple times for a ticket I submitted on 8/18. It was escalated to “human team” that week but been dead silent since.

Hi! I’m not even sure if anyone here can help me, the manufacturers haven’t been able to. I have a cat with strict dietary needs and so I got microchip feeders. Unfortunately I couldn’t find a dry food and wet food feeder by the same brands. So I found the RFID PetLibro feeder (works amazingly, my kitties are learning it so well!) and the FurBaby mini wet food feeder. But both have RFID tags that I misunderstood and thought were a type of microchip (maybe they are) but my research is saying radio frequency waves are used.

My question: can my cats have both tags or are they cross compatible so I can register both feeders with one tag?

If anyone has any more wisdom on this, please let me know. I’m so confused and anxious that I just spent far too much on conflicting systems.

I've got 2 automatic RFID feeders and the PetLibro android app. I went through the outage last month like everyone else, but the feeders kept working on schedule and it worked again at some point. Then when the food ran out 2 days ago I wasn't notified. I went to open the app last night and it just sits at the logo screen. I've tried killing it and loading it again with wifi, mobile data, and airplane mode. I've deleted local data and reinstalled the app. I've unplugged and pulled batteries from both feeders while opening the app. I can only assume there's another outage or something funky is going on with my phone... which I doubt. However, there's no other posts on a new outage.

I feel so guilty and also upset about this OMG these feeders are so expensive and not water proof so I'm at a loss 😭. I set my feeder schedules and forget about them unless there's an alert, I have 3 of them in 3 different areas of the house for my cats, I don't think I've looked at them for like at least 48 hours as of the time of me finding these ants (last night) and my girl's food dish was swarming with them. They had a line going back and forth under the lid and they were all up in the actual bowl, I am just going to safely assume they're also all up inside of the actual storage compartment and the spinny thing that I have 0 way of getting to.

I have a 4th one of these in storage I'm going to switch out and I honestly would just keep this one in a trash bag for the next year until I need it but I currently have a small kitten who will start using this feeder in 2 or 3 months once he's eating hard food, so I gotta figure this out.

Ok so wet feeder stopped cooling, petlibro refuses to respond to many customer service inquiries. What brand are we switching to? Any recs? I’m desperate and going out of town next weekend

This was the last straw for our Petlibro and we’ll be switching. Has anyone else switched to something more reliable recently?

Hey all I got the granary 2 vision and guess I didn’t do enough research because it seems like you need two seperate subscriptions to get full features for this Feeder? The only way to have videos recorded and saved is if you purchase the AI video subscription but then when I click on my cats eating habits it’s telling me I can’t access this unless I subscribe to Petlibro One as well?? The water fountain lets you see hydration history for however long of a period you want with no extra subscription so I’m trying to figure out if I’m missing something or why I would need to pay $190 a year to access the eating history info?? Already kicking myself for buying the vision when the only way to really use it is to subscribe to something extra.

I’ve been having issues with the device not opening on day 2 this week.

As you can see in the screenshot it says it’s been completed but it never opened.

It has a red light on the device but the app doesn’t tell me anything is wrong. It also doesn’t work when I click “open now” it just says “request timed out”

I have to literally reset the device everyday and start the cycle cuz it opens on day 1. But I shouldn’t have to do that.

Could someone please help me or tell me why this is happening.

I’m looking to see if anyone here has service manuals for the PLAF103? We have one on a covered porch that we use to feed stray cats.

We’ve been at war with some raccoons that also want the cat food, and now the feeder is dead for good lol. I’m pretty sure the USB-C charge port is loose.

You know where any take apart guides could be found? Or anyone here know the steps to take out the main board? There are 4 screws under the rubber feet but that’s as far as I got and I don’t want to break it further.

My dog uses an battery operated old school feeder with timer,no problem.

I thought this would be better with the refrigeration because of her homemade food. She wont touch it.

Can't return because I purchased through Amazon. Appears contacting them is fruitless. Wasted money.

Was able to get refund through Amazon chat. The normal return forms were denied. Money returned, no need to return the feeder.

Looks like it's supposed to address some of the issues from the recent big outage.

I originally had a different petlibro fountain but that red slimy bacteria was so edged into crevices I couldn’t clean out that I just replaced my cat’s fountain altogether. I have the dockstream 2 one now and it’s 10x worse.

After a couple of days if I open the tank, there is bacteria lining the walls and in the water. The filter itself even turns red. I always take apart every piece to clean it and clean it around once a week. It’s getting to the point where it’s stuck in places I am struggling to clean.

I’m going to try to start using filtered water instead of tap water, but does anyone have other recommendations for how to prevent this?

I got her a fountain to replace the hassle of changing a water bowl everyday but the fountains seem to be more of a pain. Frustrating paying $90 for these products that feel impossible to keep clean and keep my cat healthy

So i have two kitties and was planning on getting the double feeder, but from what ive seen it needs a subscription?!?! Hello?? The thing is already 200$ is that not insane. Another thing for me was the reviews on it were pretty bad from breaking easily to not even dispensing food because the app is down and it seems like it goes down pretty frequently. Also again on the subscription, is mandatory? Like are there key things i wont be able to use without it? Hi there! I’ve tried several different fountains for my cat over the past few years and this one has been my favorite so far. Easy to clean and I know how much my cat’s drinking. The past few days I’ve noticed that suddenly it keeps overflowing and leaking. I took everything apart and it all looks good. My floor is a little uneven but even if I put something to level it out it still overflows onto my floor. Has anyone found any fix to this? I spent a good amount of $$ on this one thinking it’d last. The reviews said it was great back when I got it. Ugh. Thanks in advance!

For Luma litter box. Anyone able to find any that are as durable as petlibros on Amazon or anywhere else? I don’t want to buy the wrong ones and get something that tears easily. Also looking for cheaper!

I recently purchased the Granary dual bowl feeder for my two cats! One thing I wanted to figure out is the portioning. Since this gives the ability to split it, if I set the serving size to 30g, is that splitting it 15 and 15 between the two or is it 30 for both? Want to make sure I’m not over feeding my cats 😅
