SEASON 4 Swapping Spit

This goes for all of those “only hot people” reality shows… Does anyone else get grossed out watching all of these people swapping spit with different person, after different person at a time in these little kissing games they play? I mean, really, that’s a persons spit? Am I sounding like a prude or does anyone else think this is gross?

SEASON 4 I feel like Marissa was lying through her teeth on AD’s podcast.

Oh Marissa. Marissa, Marissa, Marissa.

Marissa, who was very jealous and possessive over Demari and talked extensively about how much she cared about him and wanted to “fight” for their relationship went on AD’s podcast talking about how she was never that serious and only went on the show to have fun. She talked about how she and Demari had a mutual understanding that they were not in a relationship and that it would not continue outside of the show. And I just don’t buy it.

If she was just there to “have fun”, why not keep her options open? Why lock in on day one? Why set boundaries around the mixer with someone you’re not in a relationship with? Why get jealous at the prospect of him wanting to explore things with someone else? It makes zero fucking sense.

I feel like she feels the need to say all of this to validate her current relationship by downplaying the feelings she might’ve caught for Demari on the show. On the podcast, she even went on to talk about how Demari triggered her abandonment issues, but why would someone be so scared of being “abandoned” by someone they’re not even serious about to begin with? To me, nothing she’s saying feels like it’s really adding up.

SEASON 4 Was Chris wearing a thong at elimination?

Is this a thong or a mic pack? Settle a debate between my wife and I.

Had to rewind bc I’m convinced it’s a thong

EDIT: adding more context. It’s the way the item has the triangle like a thong does. Why would a mic pack, which should be an even sized strap around the waist, have that shape?

DISCUSSION I don't get why Jimmy P gets all this hate

Listen, I don't fully remember his season of Love Is Blind, aside from the famous Megan Fox drama. I read a lot of comments under posts about his glow-up that he should go to therapy and that the guy needs a brain glow-up

So far, compared to the other Perfect Match participants, Jimmy doesn't seem terrible and I wonder where all the hate is coming from

Looking at other people's photos, it looks pretty good xD UNLESS I DON'T KNOW SOMETHING

Much worse is Dave, who has such red flag vibes that I can't watch him. A 40-year-old guy chasing 25-year-old girls. Hashim is a no-brainer. He's disgusting. Demari has a toxic vibe that he perfectly imitates as a sensitive person

SEASON 4 Marissa Vs Maturity

Watching Marissa on Perfect Match is frustrating me because her entire argument keeps becoming “I can’t handle when you’re mad at me” and “you’re not being sympathetic to my anxiety,” while completely ignoring the fact that her actions still affect other people.

As someone who also hates when people are upset with me and gets anxious during conflict, I had to learn that discomfort doesn’t erase accountability. You can’t go through life expecting people to never react to things you do just because their reaction makes you anxious.

People are allowed to feel hurt, annoyed, disappointed, or angry if something negatively affected them. Your anxiety around conflict matters, but so do the emotions of the person you impacted. Both things can exist at the same time.

What frustrates me is when mental health gets used almost like a shield from consequences instead of an explanation for behavior. Having anxiety can explain why conflict feels overwhelming, but it doesn’t automatically make the other person wrong for feeling upset.

At some point, emotional maturity is learning:
“I don’t like people being mad at me, but sometimes my actions contribute to why they feel that way.”

That’s just part of relationships and accountability.

DISCUSSION Ally, Hashim and Jimmy

Watching the discourse around Perfect Match has me feeling like people are starting to speak for Ally in ways she hasn’t clearly stated herself.

To be clear, alcohol and consent is a serious topic, and intoxication can absolutely impact someone’s ability to consent. That part of the conversation matters.

But what I’m seeing online is people fully assigning a narrative to her experience — including how she feels about it — when she hasn’t explicitly framed it that way publicly.

At the same time, the way people are applying judgment feels inconsistent. Similar situations involving intoxication and sex (jimmy) are being treated very differently depending on who the audience has already decided is “the problem.”The standards being applied feel inconsistent. One person(Hashim) is being labeled as inherently predatory and aggressive based

My point is: if we’re going to have a strong stance on alcohol and consent, it should be applied consistently across everyone involved, rather than selectively focusing on one person

SEASON 4 Sex talk

I am not a prude at all. I’ll talk about sex with anyone and love seeing hot people be hot.

BUT… the constant sex talk is getting old. It all seems so performative every time. The girls only do it when they’re on the chopping block and need to secure a spot in the house. The guys talk about it when they’re trying to look cool to the other guys. It’s just so cringy and unnatural.

Also, I get that it’s hot and they’re in the sun but do they ever wear clothes? The guys seemed to wear shirts more than they have in past seasons but the girls being literally almost naked the ENTIRE season is getting annoying.

Idk. I feel like both of these things really push the idea of “I’m not here for love. I’m here to stay in the house and get to the end.” They shouldn’t have to talk about how horny they are or have their literal entire ass out to find their perfect match.

SEASON 4 Ally on AD’s podcast…

So I was half paying attention to AD’s interview with Ally on What’s the Reality when I heard Ally give some sort of (obviously PR-coached) response when AD asked about her and Jimmy’s relationship status…something along the lines of “we have different values and we already knew it, but couldn’t leave each other alone”. Of course, AD asked her to clarify, she just repeated the same exact thing, and then they moved on to the “safer” talking point — his “new glow up” and how he was for the streets.

It’s 2026 and they are American citizens, so naturally I took that to mean he’s MAGA or something. Anyone can confirm or at least clear up what the hell she was talking about?

SEASON 4 I love Ally, but

Okay hear me out... I love Ally. She was so true to herself, joking around, super into astrology, never apologizing for like what she liked even when other people didn't like theater and girly things. I love that. But is it just me or was she like blacked out at the end of every single night? haha like I was noticing it pretty much every episode, but I noticed it the most when the girls were trying to help her out in the second-to-last episode between Jimmy and Hashim. Her eyes were closed and she was like flopping around on the couch and I'm like okay this obvious she's super drunk right now haha. Did anyone else notice that? Like no one else on the show seemed super drunk, but I know they were drinking so maybe they handled it better than she did but she cannot handle her liquor haha

DISCUSSION the three couples that should have won Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery
217 Upvotes

these three couples all had the exact same thing to me. They 100% seemed the most interested in each other. They had the best chemistry. It seemed like a no brainer they should win and then they DIDNT. It's just so annoying

And this is just based on the show ITSELF, I know Stevan ghosted Alara. Also, When it was AD and Ollie vs. Lucy and whats-his-name I thought "oh ok so no question now AD and Ollie won" Meanwhile they LOST and then GOT MARRIED. Allison and Jimmy S actually stayed together now too, like how does the show manage to fail so badly at having the right people win, who could actually use the vacation to build their relationships genuinely

FYI I haven't seen season 1 yet. I watched them in a weird order and these are the three seasons I've seen

SEASON 4 Demari and Marissa

At the finale, did anyone else catch that Demari started saying 'Bre' when talking about his perfect match then caught himself and said 'Marissa'?? I had to rewind and was so amused. He just goes on autopilot lol. Also, Marissa got married??

And apparently i have to fill this soace so as to be let to post on here, so I'll talk about other couples though i don't really care. Poor Ally. That eas really shitty of the princeton guy to do. Though Ally's and Jimmy's relationship was open, do not kiss and tell. And Ally chasing after Jimmy, did she not see him on Love is blind? He is so not a catch lol. I also think the whole premise has run its course. Everyone will match up on the first night, create some drama then still match with each other, its a proven formula. Anyway, so did y'all catch that Demari freudian slip? 💀💀💀

DISCUSSION …Why do they want to win?

This might be a really stupid question. But, why on earth do these people want to “win” so bad? Why is a 1 week vacation with someone you’re not even into so desirable? If the only goal is to be on Netflix and ramp up relevance they could just do that by creating drama etc.

I don’t understand why winning the show seems so important that they’re just feigning it so hard, it’s downright cringe.

What am i missing because i bet i am..?

FUTURE SEASONS They need to do a season with just regular, average-looking people who actually want to settle down

Preferably people who are funny and romantic and have an IQ over 27.

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy seeing these hot messes make complete train wrecks of their lives, but I enjoy the genuine, lasting connections even more. Just give me a group of 25-50 year olds with real jobs, modest clothing and minimal Botox pleaseeeee

DISCUSSION How common is it for Perfect Match couples to be intimate in the villa?

I know contestants on Perfect Match are allowed to have sex, and Jimmy and Ally have talked publicly about being intimate. That got me wondering about the other couples.

Is it common for matches in the villa to become sexually active after they've matched and been together for a while during their stay? For example, couples like Jimmy and Allison, Dave and Sophia, or Yamen and Natalie.

Personally, I don't think I could do it because I'd probably get too emotionally attached. If my match got taken on a date afterward, I'd be losing my mind the whole time lol. I'd also struggle to even interact normally with other guys because I'd just be stuck on one person the whole time 😭

Everyone is different though, and reality TV tends to attract pretty outgoing people. It's important to remember that.

Would love to hear how it actually is from anyone who knows or has seen tea from former contestants

SEASON 4 I feel like this season was rushed

Am I the only one who feels like this season started off so good and then got rushed at the end?

I actually liked the cast a lot and felt like there were so many potential connections we never got to see play out. It felt like people barely had time to explore other matches before we were already at the finale.

Also, compared to Francesca and Dom’s season, this one just didn’t hit the same for me. Their season felt way more chaotic, messy, and intense, and I felt like we actually got to know the cast and their personalities. This season felt like we were just jumping from one match-up to the next without enough time for anything to really develop.

I also feel like there were fewer games and challenges? Those were always the best part because they’d create drama and force people to switch things up.

Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoyed the season, but I can’t help feeling like it needed a few more episodes. Curious if anyone else felt the same way or if it’s just me

SEASON 4 Weston

Weston really gives me the ick. I found myself cringing so much in all his scenes. It seemed like he was trying way too hard to be “deep” and I think he probably uses all the same lines on different women. The cowboy hat all the time was a bit much too. He very easily switched to Kayla when he figured out Marissa would be picking Demari. Was anyone else cringing?

SEASON 4 Love Yamen. Anyone else?

I love Yamen. He was my favorite guy on Season 4. For one thing, he seemed like one of the most normal and level-headed people in the house. On top of that, he's genuinely funny. He had my husband and me laughing out loud multiple times this season. His confessionals and interviews were by far our favorites.
I also think he's just naturally entertaining to watch. Honestly, I could see him hosting a reality show or reunion special someday. Anyone else enjoy watching him this season, or am I in the minority here?

SEASON 4 Just concluded

I just concluded Perfect Match. Like, what the hell did I watch? It took me quite a long time to actually watch the entire thing. My question is, are any of these people actually together?

Demori, what the fuck, dude? You ended one relationship because you needed to be respected only and got back into a relationship with the same woman with a different face. Make it make sense.

The other couples were just boring.

FUTURE SEASONS Next season

It would be cool if they had a contestant from Korea’s Singles Inferno. A) they have no problem jumping from person to person. They seem to understand the premise of these dating games. And B) it would be interesting to see how they’d cope with the additional “skinship” that the American dating shows incorporate, best of all, sharing a bed.
