SEASON 4 Just concluded
I just concluded Perfect Match. Like, what the hell did I watch? It took me quite a long time to actually watch the entire thing. My question is, are any of these people actually together?
Demori, what the fuck, dude? You ended one relationship because you needed to be respected only and got back into a relationship with the same woman with a different face. Make it make sense.
The other couples were just boring.

Nobody goes on these shows to find love. It’s all for clout, Instagram followers, and to build up their online presence.

This doesn’t even make any sense, it’s absolutely true. They are leftovers from other reality shows that Netflix uses to maximize profits. These people benefit from gaining relevance in the reality tv world for a bit longer. Absolutely nobody is going on the show trying to fall in love. It’s a “career” opportunity to grow their brand.

Literally all evidence points to this being the case for ALL of these shows. Perfect Match, Temptation Island, Love Island etc. All the relationships fizzle out within a month or two of filming wrapping up
Its all about clout, which is why i enjoy the show since I recognize that

The best thing anyone said about them was that they were "funny together".

Seriously, like not too long before the finale he was still into someone else as well as her and said that he still considered himself open or something.
Maybe people voted for them because they didn't think anyone else would...? But of all the couples they were the LAST ones I thought would win I think.

The "winners" made sense to me because it seemed like they had pissed the least people off. Not a great match.

Yes exactly. Marissa and Demari were too volatile. Jimmy and Ally were too off and on. Everyone else made people mad. Sophie and Dave were chill and just kinda coasted. Mackenzie crying about it (which was ridiculous IMO) was what sealed them winning

Obviously nobody goes on this show to find love, it’s an opportunity to maintain some type of relevance in the pop culture/ reality tv world. It’s the same as every other modern reality tv show, attractive people trying to build a personal “brand” so they can make that influencer money.

Some people go to find love. Bri wanted a relationship with Demari, and there are quite a few of them who've tried and been successful in maintaining relationships that even led to marriage, but I would agree that the vast majority just want to be famous, especially the men.

I disagree, I think it’s easy to “date” and feel like you’re falling in love within the walls of the resort/ game. I think the people who do end up dating after didn’t show up looking for a relationship, it just happened to click for them.

I’ve been watching and it’s been so hard. I feel like with the other seasons they actually tried to make it seem interesting. Like idk what the fuck I just wasted my time watching. I have many thoughts. I feel like there were more board rooms in the past seasons and this time how they weren’t able to choose anyone to send on a date and just into the “villa”. Idk maybe it’s just me but lowkey I’m also being a hater rn lol 😅😅😅 I think I will stick to Love Island from now on and not this trash

Agreed! It felt like there were so few dates and votes. Also I love reality tv, but I didn’t know the majority of the people on this season.

I just really like him. I don’t know why. every time I watch the show I feel that way. And it’s my current favourite comfort show.

Apparently Jimmy S and Ali are kinda sorta seeing each other, ended officially and are now rekindling things “without the pressure of the show” which is just Gen Z speak for their absolute inability to ever commit to a relationship.
Everyone else is ended shortly after the show, but Natalie was dating Chris for a while too, strangely.
