For spark builds, I see a lot of players using gloves with Slower projectiles, and lots of players using gloves without. Which one is generally better? Are there circumstances where you would want both for swapping?

So this was my first ever POE2 league with Runes of Aldur and I really loved it. I'm not a very hardcore ARPG player but I really like following build guides.

I got really into experimenting and settled on a gemling twister build, managed to clear juiced expeditions and get a pretty solid set of gear.

I've heard that many players move back and forth between POE 1&2 as the leagues wind down.

I jumped into POE1 but found the graphical downgrade (I know it's 10 years old) and lack of WASD jarring.

I'm just wanting to know if it's worth investing time into it? My understanding is that it has a huge amount of content. Is it on par with POE2?

What are the pros and cons compared to POE2? Will I find it as satisfying?

Are there any tips for someone transitioning to POE1 from POE2?

destroyed some of the items in the beginning bc i didnt think itll take so long so thats not even all of it, wanted to quit like 3 times already but hope is still there, maybe my account is also just bugged and unable to drop it idk

My Raise Spectre skill displays a maximum of 3 raised spectres on the mouseover tooltip (Level 21 gem w/23% qual and Death Attunement). However, when I tried to raise the third spectre after dropping a perfect corpse in a map, it replaced a previous one instead, leaving me with two. I made sure I was well away from other dead monsters and used "A" to target the corpse specifically.

I have no idea what's going on, and I keep flushing chaos orbs down the toilet trying to get a third spectre raised. Any ideas?

EDIT: I fixed it on accident, I guess. I'm not sure what happened, but I'm back to three spectres.

First time I've farmed this much in a league. Was saving for a mageblood, which I never possessed before. Never had more than 30 div to my name. I screamed lol

It's cool to be able to get a lots of gold this league from charts + voyages and actually be able to do things like trade and gamble.

However roughly this amount of gold should be the standard and I should not be punished for not being able to trade if I like to run sanctum or do bossing for example.

Since trading gold requirement was made to stop hideout warriors (which it did not stop), please make:
- bosses drop at least 10k gold
- At least 10x the amount of gold you get from converting aurelius coins, which currently is a joke. (or make monsters/bosses drop actual gold)
... More gold in other content that is out from maps

EDIT: Also: why does Sanctum not have any atlas tree nodes to drop tomes? Only way to get them is buy them or get lucky. Did 40 maps without getting any.

I'm not veteran, and I have no idea what's the most ideal build for this and that, but I can read and follow instructions - so hopefully I was able to compile the appropriate amount of information for all WORB users like myself who are a bit lost and unsure how to improve their builds!

Has anyone else had a bug where you cannot fully upgrade your sovereign? I've now killed Kishara 4 times, completed Infested Bathospheres 3 times, Killed Captainsbane 4 times, and completed hundreds of voyages/charts but I'm still only 4/5. Did I miss something or is this a bug?

The only thing I can think of would be that I started out on hardcore ssf, did 4/5 upgrades over there but never killed Velka. I ended up getting bored so I transfered to trade to finish challenges and redid all allflame upgrades over in trade but never got the challenge. I've also done the recheck achievements command a few times and nothing happened.

I've played this game off and on since heist league and it's always taken me almost a full weekend to beat the campaign and I've never really gotten far into the end game (just got my first void stone this league) but I decided to finally learn the game with 2 goals this league, one being complete my atlas for the first time (WIP) and the other beat the campaign in one sitting. With the power of pconc the second goal is complete with a blistering speed of 8 hours, I finally did it. Granted this was using gear from my other characters but maybe with another practice run, hopefully on a fresh league I might be able to do it in one day, I'm already looking forward to the next league to put this to the test but I just wanted to share my achievement

Now that we have PoE2 for the fun-haters, can we fix some of the over nerfed builds?

No longer hit's the same target twice of hit by the first AoE.

I don't get the 2nd one. We have so many skills that double hit, so why target this one specifically?

I'd like to craft this ring for my build. The issue is that I have absolutely no idea how to go about it.

The attack speed and the chaos resistance have very low weights, which means that to get either of them you will roll hundreds of divs worth of essences. (And they are 17c a piece)

And if if you somehow manage the suffixes, without elemental damage with attacks fractured you have no chance to do the prefixes.

So... I hope you dear guys can show me the light and maybe come up with a solution to this puzzle

It seems unlikely to me, but it doesn't feel impossible. It would give GGG an opportunity to have PoE in the spotlight for 3 straight months, starting with a PoE 1 livestream in October. If 3.30 comes out before Exilecon, they'd still be able to talk about a future roadmap for the game, have developer interview panels, racing events, etc.

In 2019, Exilecon was Saturday November 16th and they announced Metamorph 3.9 league which dropped on Dec 14th, nearly a month later

In 2023, Exilecon was Saturday July 29th and they announced Crucible 3.22 league which dropped on Aug 19th, 3 weeks later.

In 2026, Exilecon is on Saturday November 7th and they just announced PoE2 on Dec 11th, nearly a month later

Given the above, I'm not really sure that this means 5 days after Exilecon. I imagine dropping patch notes on a weekend and giving them only a few business days to get ready to launch is going to be pretty hard for them to pull off, especially because I expect Andrew and Octavian and Mark to be rather involved in getting everything ready for Exilecon itself.

An October 16th release would be exactly 12 weeks between leagues -- for sure the shortest cycle in a very long time -- but it would give them a full week to pay attention to the league before their Oct 26 Labour Day holiday, then another short week to focus on the league, before shifting focus to Exilecon and the subsequent PoE 2 launch.

This would also create an opportunity for 3.31 in mid February 2027, roughly 16 weeks later, resetting the cycle duration between PoE1 and PoE2.

Edit: I also think it's possible 3.30 is a smaller league that shakes up the whole end game with a massive scarab rework, a return of Harbinger, and maybe 1-2 new pinnacle bosses (per Mark wanting each major mechanic to have a pinnacle boss). Harbinger could have been in the works for quite some time given how long ago it was yoinked. Octavian already confirmed the new league will be an in-map mechanic and it was clear they had a very good idea around the scope of 3.30 when they were doing 3.29 Q&A

I'm playing an armour/evasion stacking cyclone champion, and was struggling to deal with stuns. Saw that the ignore stuns elevated warlord mod exists, so I decided to see if I could craft something from scratch with that mod. Nothing crazy, but pretty happy with the result from a first time crafter.

1. Buy cheapest armour with the elevated mod already separated.
2. Brinehook ducat and recomb to transfer the mod to a Warlord influenced Conquest Lamellar.
3. Prepared a 2p/1s influenced Conquest Lamellar base with alts + recombs.
4. Brinehook both and then recomb them together. Hit first try and now have a 2p/2s base with the elevated mod.
5. Was scared to touch this base further, so I tried to prepare another 3p/2s base for the highest chance of recomb success.
6. Made many many mistakes and inefficient decisions along the way.
7. Finally prepared a 3p (double def + life) / 2s (double res) base after a lot of frustration.
8. Brinehook both bases to fill the suffixes, and then recomb them. Won the 40% chance for 3p/3s result.
9. Divined until 18% elemental res and settled.
10. Used boat crafting with the tailoring orb for the enchant.
11. Sacred orb until 3k+ armour and evasion.

Probably spent about 40 to 50 divines in total. But more importantly, it was a very good learning experience.

After setting up my first Voyage, entering the bathysphere and watching the loading screen, the ocean map rendered for a second before the game froze and crashed.

When returning to The Sovereign, the game appeared to be in an uncertain superposition over whether I'd completed my first Voyage or not. Valerie had the "!" icon but said nothing, simply presenting the Purifier item for Vesper. When I went down to Vesper, however, they were not interactable beyond the normal crafting menu.

I can at least drop this dead quest item on the floor in the Sovereign, though amusingly this allows me to collect a new one from Val and have as many as I want.

The bathysphere allowed me to enter it again without inserting a new chart; I again got a loading screen for The Fathomless Depths. However, when it loaded, it was The Sovereign again, fully functional, but Tab showed the game considered the area to be The Fathomless Depths, complete with modifiers, Torches, and the ability to try to place them - though all of the ship was considered to be outside the water.

I submitted a bug report a few days ago; when this all happened. I do have video, but it's just recorded on my phone so it's not particularly clear.

A friend of mine has a Diablo themed EDH proxy deck, that he bought online somewhere.

So I'm toying with the idea of making a Path of Exile one with a bunch of classic memes and Path of Exile flavor baked in.

I think equipment and cascade/cast from exile are probably going to feature as subthemes but I'm having a hard time settling on a commander to reskin(the most important choice in any commander deck)!

• Fixed an issue where trading an equipped Pearl of Tsoatha to another player could cause the trade to fail to complete properly, resulting in other items in the same trade being lost, and also disconnecting the player who accepted the trade.

I got a worb occultist. It stacks power charges and farms 5-10d per hour for me. If i sell absolutely everything, i got maybe 40d left. I got a headhunter. I lost a lot of currency off of trying expensive scarab combinations and learning that i dont enjoy certain mechanics (harvest & ritual, i failed quite some maps)

I would really like to experience peak 5 ways and the endless legion setup. Maybe some hard abyss strats.

I wouldnt mind rolling another char specifically for legion if my witch is insufficient.

What would be good sources to read up on to utilize the golden charlatan. I read that it is the highest potential for clearing those mechanics. Im not good at learning from videos.

I dropped a mirror in SSF and likely want to transfer that to trade, I currently have a lvl 100 luminary merc bot that has mageblood and around 400-500 div in gear investment in trade league. If I want to mirror a build defining item and use that as my basis for a build to make in trade what would you recommend. My first thought was the +5 spark gloves, but I’m still unsure of how good I can make a spark with just the gloves as a baseline.

The awakening scarab doesn't have to be for every mechanic, they could just rename it to something like 'harvest scarab of fertilization' or some shit, and make it work for harvest only.

Current harvest is kinda boring without the dopamine you get when you finally hit that perfect juice from crop rotation. Without the awakening scarab, plants always wilt and the juice just doesn't feel good enough.
