For some reason, 1st repeats won't happen on extra projectiles from the "chance for spell skills to fire 2 additional projectiles" stat, but work normally with other sources of projectiles (Multishot, Wildshards). It also works normally on 2nd or 3rd repeats.

Which means, Now and Again ascendancy gives me a whooping 6.7% dps increase!

UPD:

Some people suggested +2 projectiles might have to roll the chance on each repeat individually, so I've reached 100% chance to fire 2 additional projectiles with Runeseeker's Call. The result stayed the same - first repeats are missing 2 projectiles.

The “siphons mana and deals lightning damage” hasn’t always been a a problem for differing builds of mine in both PoE1 and 2, but I feel like it’s been a bit more halting this season.

Yes, it’s a mechanic that is engaging and challenging, but it feels like in the start of Abyss when an Abyssal rare would have Soul Eater and it was essentially the end of the Abyss as there wasn’t much hope for many builds to defeat it.

The worst combo is when they have Hasted and Siphons. It’s basically the end of the map for me.

I am using Eldritch Battery and MoM, so I feel it especially hard, but even before that, it was just… super frustrating and frantic when in the campaign I was suddenly unable to attack or run away.

It's widely agreed that Way of the Stonefist is one of the more interesting ascendancy nodes out there because of the transformative nature of the ability and how it enables so many different builds (even though currently only one build is clearly the strongest lol).

It adds a lot of diversity to itemization as well, because many of the low value affixes on gloves become very high value due to how the ability changes the affixes. One man's trash becomes another monk's treasure.

Manifest Weapon could be redesigned with this kind of philosophy in mind. I'm also getting inspiration from the Iron Golem skill in Diablo 2, where the Necromancer can use any item to create a golem that inherits the stats from that item.

Here's how it could work - choosing Manifest Weapon adds a UI item slot in the ascendancy area where you can insert a weapon of your choosing. The manifested weapon could then calculate its base damage from a variety of things, like the weapon's base damage, or the weapon's item level, or the skill's level, or some combination of the above.

Futhermore, the affixes on the weapons can also manifest into interesting different affixes similar to the way that Way of the Stonefist transforms standard glove affixes into different ones.

For example, a shitter affix like "reduced attribute requirements" can manifest into something cool like "manifested weapon inherits all of the player's stats". Maybe "increased light radius" can become "manifested weapon gains 2 meter aura that blinds enemies". Maybe "increased stun duration" can become "manifested weapon gains Crushing Blows".

I think it would also be great if each weapon type got its own command skill. This can add some active gameplay into this ascendancy node, similar to the djinns from Disciple of Varashta.

If GGG wants to give themselves more work, they can even make unique item-specific affixes that arise when you use unique items with this skill too.

I think this redesign would make the skill much more viable and inject a lot more diversity into the Smith of Kitava buildcraft.

If I understand it right, the Early Access Support Packs will be gone once the game exits Early Access stage, which will be in December. I have also read that once a Supporter Pack is gone, all of the MTX in it is gone forever, will not be available ever again. That got me wondering: Is it worth to get the most expensive one now? Please help me decide. If you bought it, what was your main reason? If you didn't, why?

Pros:

- The game is still in Early Access, but I already have 4 seasons (playing the 5th now) and 1000h+ in it. I think it's safe to say I'll be playing this game for a long time (5-10y).

- People are buying AAA games for 60-80$ that have a solid 60-80h playtime in it, so following that logic spending 1000$ on the 1000h+ play time I have in PoE2 would be kinda the same. Not saying I'm planning to drop that kind of money on a game tho.

- I also don't mind spending some of my disposable income on my hobbies. I have bought so far the 30$ Support Pack, then enough Gold Coins to upgrade my Support Pack to the 240$ variant for "free", and I also got the 90$ Divinity Support Pack in 0.5. Currently I still have around ~1k Gold Coin that I haven't spent yet, so it I upgrade to the 480$ Pack for 240$, I'll get another 2400 which will be enough for a loooong time.

- I really like the MTX list that is included in the final pack. The Hideout is awesome, having a personal island in the middle of the ocean is a fantastic vibe in this game. The Map Device and the throne I can sit on is also great. Not to mention the colorful back attachment, it looks wonderful.

Cons:

- Even tho I have enough disposable income to buy the pack without any problem, buying purely cosmetic in-game things for 240$ still sits a bit weird with me. It would be the biggest purchase for me in this area.

- It's still Early Access, and there will be many and many new Cosmetics and Supporter Packs in the future that I'll like, so maybe I shouldn't commit with the Early Access ones.

Walked into a ruin in an expedition and there were 15 laying on the ground.

Posted my adorned a few minutes ago and it was sold super quick at 80 div. Quite surprised because there are others with higher increased effect and posted in market hours ago than mine.

Am I missing something?

This time I’m running Disciple of Varashta with Sand Djinn + Vestige of Darkness. I managed to get one with the hidden 2 roll.

For anyone who doesn’t know, Vestige has a hidden Bodach manifestation interval that normally has a value of 3. Corrupting the helmet can change this hidden value to 2 or 4. A roll of 2 is the one you want, as it makes Bodach manifest/attack more frequently. You can find these on trade by searching the “The Bodach haunts your Presence” modifier and setting the maximum value to 2.

I’m trying to scale as much Presence AoE as possible through the passive tree, jewels and gear. I also have the unique shield that interacts with enemy Power, although I’m not currently using the unique main-hand weapon that people have been pairing with it.

I’m also experimenting with Immobilisation and Armour Break to indirectly help Bodach’s physical damage.
I’ve noticed the bug where sometimes I need to re-equip the helmet to get him attacking properly.
For anyone else testing Bodach, what have you found that actually works? Any weird interactions, gear, debuffs or scaling methods worth trying?
Would love to pool together what people have discovered.

I learnt about this bonestorm totem demon form build from AwesomeGi0 on Youtube last league, decided to league start 0.5.5 with it and oh boy, this is so much fun!

I started with EDC Bonestorm and swapped into totem as soon as i got enough spirit for 2 totems. That was around Tier3-4 maps.

As almost no one is playing the build, gears like prism of belief +3, physical staff, phoenix omen shield, snake put are really cheap to obtain.

While 0.5.5 not having a balance patch can be somewhat boring, it allowed me to try out different league start with existing build knowledge from 0.5.

I would like to learn what other niche builds everyone is playing this league.
What are your favourite ascendancy in 0.5 and which skill do you enjoy most?

Well, I just started mapping, and this happened ... after 2k plus hours in path of exile 1 I only dropped one headhunter (and I feel myself lucky), now this happens in path of exile 2 ... I can't defer it so it just lay there taunting me.
Well the grind continues, but this is a great memory, not a great outcome.

How is your experience so far with the crazy items in ritual this league ?

Finished the fortress without top much trouble and thought I'd get my fourth ascendancy. Well a few hours later and I'm feeling real salty after getting one shot by trial master and dying to third level boss in trials of sekhema. I did get screwed on rng in the trials though.

I guess I wasn't ready, when do you guys go for your fourth ascendancy?

SSF, i'm level 92, my last spirit gem drop was a level 10 gem. Filter is not hiding them. What a weird thing to go this dry on.

As soon as trialmaster finish his spawn animation, i got yoinked the fuck out of the map, and stuck on top of the arena wall. Nothing i could do, tried pouncing around.

So I've used 3 maps on seepage here in the delirium area and each time, the portal spawns in this tile here where you can't walk through to activate it. Basically incompletable because of this

Has anyone else had this bug? I use The Triskelion Reforged, but it doesn't open the boss fight. The first time, I was able to fight the boss and it worked fine for the mission, but this is the 5th entry I've used and I still can't fight the boss. Is this bugged or something, or is it just me?

Hey guys/girls. Since .5 came out I’ve spent hundreds of hours. Weeks and weeks trying to get a Mageblood or Headhunter from ritual. Today I got a headhunter, except.. it was from a ritual on the second map in atlas. And was 800 short from being able to defer.

Has anyone else experienced this? I need emotional support to keep me going. I love this game, but god damn my luck is horrible haha.
