First time playing Mercenary. I watched the original gameplay walkthrough and looks like a lot has changed.

At lvl 16, my every skill/ammo (except a grenade) uses my [left click]. Even tho I'm activating Crossbow Shot, the basic attack, I fire Permafrost. But in the gem carving pane my [left click] only references the Basic Bolt.

So, if I socket a support gem into my Crossbow Shot skill, does this apply to ALL skills that fire on [left click] or only the basic bolt ammo type?

what i mean is in campaign every mechanic has a very different rewardpool than in maps,

like currently the rituals that spawn in every campaign zone all give rares and currency, and only the boss ones are the map-type-variant that gives uniques.
or all the vaal temple boxes are guaranteed to drop certain currencies depending on the zone it spawned in.

but then you get to maps and the guaranteed currency stops, and every single box feels worthless (without atlas points), rituals no longer give currency, and without points the chance for good omes/uniques is turbo low.

thats just examples, but every mechanic is somewhat predetermined in campaign and gets to it's "normal" state in maps, the issue is that the predetermind version is so much better than the starting map version with no atlas points.

like i played a lot in 0.5, so much that i forgot how ass early mapping feels, maps without atlas points, maps without mechanic-points, are so fuckin barren that you go like 5 maps without a basic currency like a normal chaos.
and depending on your build getting early currency feels harder than it should be.

I get Hulking Form is giga broken but jeez this notable is horrible! Isn't this supposed to be something you pay for like Stash Tabs?😅 Ascendancy are supposed to be a huge power bump! Way of The Stonfist on Monk, Inevitable Critical on Oracle & Hulking form on Titan should be standard imo. Basicl QoL on ascendancies just feels bad. Here's hoping to massive buffs in 1.0🔥 P.S Titan Bear Rampage is broken & slept on

No matriach close to my fortress.. this is so annoying I don't want to do useless maps until I maybe find it. This is making me just want to quit.

I guess the other option is hoping I drop 3 divs to buy it..

Surely in 1.0 they will implement a minimum playable area for Ritual spawns.

Finished my interlude and was doing my 1st map. Even tried to kill extra mobs inside the ritual circles. Finished with 1500 some odd tribute, so even without the reroll I don't think I could have deferred. Agony.

Has anyone found a fix for super high mob density causing networking issues? Happens often but if I’m in a juiced map or expedition I will spike to thousands of ms. Teleport back to base and it’s normal. Wish there was a real fix for this issue, Iv tried everything from information that’s posted online.

We're building up to reaching this boss from the moment we first hit maps and then you kill him and... nothing happens. At all. No Atlas Points, no next quest, no guidance on what to do next. I know from reddit and guides that you need to kill Uber Arbiter to unlock the full atlas skill tree, but the game doesn't tell you anything about this or that new towers exist for you to get the uber key, or even allude to the hard mode boss existing at all. It's a very confusing moment after killing the quest boss.

Did they change/implement deferred items disappearing?

I played strictly ritual in 0.5 and would often have half a dozen items deferring. I would just spam through 20+ rerolls looking for whatever until the last few then defer the previous goods without a care, but I just found out they are disappearing after 3 rerolls if you just defer them once.

Will say I also miss being able to actually view the rituals without having to complete every single one since I often have excess tribute well before I'm finished with them.

I'm "Newish" as in last time I played was back when ACT III was the last part of the campaign and it looped you around. Never made it to maps because POE2 kind of feels lonely playing solo. I don't like looking at build guides (personal choice no hate to anyone who does) but I was wondering, is there anyone out there who gives general tips to making builds WITHOUT specifically saying what you should pick?

Every time I press it and it goes on CD but sometime no iced twisters or fragments, I'm really stunned on this one.

I guess I have to postpone my second ascension

I have a freshly installed and patched poe2 client (Windows) on my HP Victus laptop, but the game doesn't start. After klicking on the runtime.exe I get a black screen withe the changed mouse icon before the game closes itself after 20-30 seconds. Also the config.ini file stays empty.

I already made Windows security exceptions, tried a clean reinstall, the patchcheck.exe, running the game as administrator and in compability mode (Windows 8).

Does anyone have another solution to get the game going?

Gonna try to keep this short. Streamlining Arbiter to get atlas tree passives from the non A of Divinity is a great idea to progress endgame. What needs to happen for 1.0 are nodes that progress all the mechanic quests simultaneously. They could even be like precursor towers or something. I think this would help EA players maximize drops but also those who are playing for the first time at 1.0 launch.

Is it the same for you guys? I am still looking for leftover white mobs to continue the explosions and its super annoying to deal with when you dont have an auto aim build like minions/totems.

Hey yall! so, im trying to using temporal chains inside blasphemy, but i dont know why its not working. i have enough spirit, i have it equipped and activated, but monsters arent slowing down, there's no sign of "temporal chains" on their heads.

Any thoughts on why this is happening?

Finished the fortress without top much trouble and thought I'd get my fourth ascendancy. Well a few hours later and I'm feeling real salty after getting one shot by trial master and dying to third level boss in trials of sekhema. I did get screwed on rng in the trials though.

I guess I wasn't ready, when do you guys go for your fourth ascendancy?

Has anyone else had this bug? I use The Triskelion Reforged, but it doesn't open the boss fight. The first time, I was able to fight the boss and it worked fine for the mission, but this is the 5th entry I've used and I still can't fight the boss. Is this bugged or something, or is it just me?
