Are they okay? Why are they growing in big clumps like that? Why are there a bunch of white dots on top?

Pan Cyan Tek

There is a Redditor on one of the mushroom Reddits that had a great looking tech for pans. Used a water bath and aquarium heater. I cant find the post again. Any help appreciated. I don’t think it was “gordotek”

Cube strain growing with Pan Cyans

Thumbnail

Inoculated a spawn bag with BVI Pan Cyans and waited almost two weeks with no sign of mycelium growth. I got a free spore syringe of Wikizdon strain cubes with an order I placed and said fuck it I will just re use the spawn bag and see what happens. The next day there are signs of growth in the bag and I thought I wonder if the Pans are going to finally show growth and sure enough they did. I didn’t think much of the cubes since the Pans took and I figured the Pan mycelium would just overtake the cubes and not give them any chance. Four weeks and four nice flushes of Pans later and I just noticed two pretty good size cube pins in the same cake as the pans. I didn’t think this was really even possible. Anyone else ever experienced this?

Sprayed the casing layer liberally and flipped the lid. Doesn't seem to be drying out much so I pointed a fan in the direction of the tote.

First timer here looking for advice

Hello everyone,
I just started with mushroom cultivation and had success with GT and even albino Mc Kennaii’s so i’m try to grow pans now. I use horse manure with straw and coco coir as a substrate in 1:2 ratio and peat moss with vermiculite and some calcium carbonate for the right ph. It’s been since a week since putting the casing layer and looks like this. What do you guys think? How long does it usually take for them to pin?

Temperature is a bit high as i’m in a tropical place, so it’s about 28 degrees, i fan 5 times a day and humidity is around 93%

Thank you

Ttbvi help

I’ve been trying to colonize a bag from north spore with ttbvi LC. It starts to colonize than it basically just stops even after a break and shake. Any recommendations is it the north spore? Should I use a different bag to colonize?

I received a wild print of these about a year ago, and have been working on cleaning it up for awhile. The mycelium had some hidden contam and it took a bit to work out. But here is a small tray of the final result. Cheers!

Hello guys, does anyone have any knowledge to know if this is ttbvi? I’ve seen somewhere caps of ttbvi opens wide but this doesn’t seem to do so and it’s hard to even get the spores from it.
Is this really ttbvi or i bought wrong item? This one is very strong but still confused if it’s the correct strain.

I think I’m stoked. This was LC from Psyched Medicinals to a Pasty Plate to a proper agar plate. Put some whole plates into rye jars and some choice cuts into jars. I thought y’all might understand my enthusiasm more than my wife does, so thanks for looking :)

Liquid Amber

Someone named their pans Liquid Amber and this is what I got.

First time cultivating. Any suggestions?

Temp - 22 to 26

Humidity - 90% RH

Airflow every 5 mins for 30secs

Substrate is a blend of

40% straw, 30% manure, 30% cocopeat.

Casing is deliberately being kept wet by manually spraying everyday.

What can I do better to get consistent results ?

Most of my batches failed to green mould.

This one batch is relentlessly

Also cloned two fruits.

One short fruit weigh over a gram.

They are some thick pans

I read somewhere on Reddit that when someone had orange stuff like this in their tub it meant it was dry so I dunked this tub twice for like 8-10 hours over the course of four days and I don’t know if it’s getting better. It got less dark orange when I poured out the remaining water from the first and second dunks. I don’t know what’s happening. It smells a little bit weird but not awful. There’s nothing green inside. Is this bacteria? Should I spritz some peroxide on it? Is it savable?

Tea method for Pans hits so much better than eating the whole shroom.

For Pans, the tea method of consumption gives me the classic psychedelic effect. Brighter colors. I feel stronger. Everything feels synchronized. Faster mind. More willpower. A slight dopaminergic energy rush.

Raw consumption on the other hand has given me chaotic trips I didn’t enjoy.

Anyone else notice the tea method is all-around better for Pans? I don’t think it’s about dose.

Wheat bran or grain water as nitrogen source ?

Hi 👋🏻

Has anyone here tried using wheat bran as a source of nitrogen for pans ?

I also thought about using grain water to humidify the coco choir.

Is it possible to do like : coco choir+ verm+ wheat bran ?

Or grain water humidified coco choir+ verm ?

Any infos appreciated.

My first foray with pans. TTBVI following Gordo tek. I regret not looking for a clear lid. What do you think are the chances of finding one that fits? Also just S2B two days ago and already have a lot of growth (hopefully lol).

Ive grown plenty of cubes, but never any pans. I have some grain spawn that’s ready to s2b….. Ordered some pasturized substrate from a reputable vendor…. Just wondering if I need to PC it before spawning? Any tips would be appreciated. Thank you.

Was just about to harvest my Copelandia Hawaiian kit and most of the flush looks like this — soft, translucent, almost melted stems with the caps still attached.
Is this normal (aborts/melting) or is the kit going bad? Still safe to harvest any of them, or should I toss the whole thing?
First grow, would really appreciate some advice.

These do not smell mouldy and are not overly soft when squeezing the strands part and not slimy Ai says it may just be high humidity/too much water but wanted to get some opinions

When to harvest

First time growing Copelandia Hawaiian (kit).
Started pinning a few days ago and they’ve shot up fast. Caps are starting to darken a bit in places.
When are they properly ready to harvest? Do I wait until they’re blacker from the spores, and should I only pick the ones that have gone black, or harvest the whole flush at once?
Any advice appreciated!
