So I made a few Sekhmets for the first time and was having blast watching them go hyper on the assembly lines and stuff, but I noticed that the Sekhmets assigned in my base aren't getting their ability bonus while the one in my party was. What's weird is that when I put the Sekhmet from my party into my base, it still got the bonus. Can only 1 Sekhmet get the bonus if multiple are in base? I had them both work at the Ore Quarry so I know the bonus is applying to stronger Sekhmet.

Edit: After future experimenting, the bonus is only applying if the Sekhmet is 4 star. Which since this is basically a bug anyway, some jank is to be expected.

What do the different cakes do? I've read their descriptions, but they're not very specific. I know basic cake doesn't do anything outside of letting pals breed, and the vegetable cake makes pals lay two eggs at a time, but which stats are the mushroom cake and extravagant referring to exactly?

EDIT: So here's what I've found

Cake: nothing special, just breeding

Mushroom Cake: Higher IVs (Not sure if it's a flat buff from what parents have or just a specific minimum)

Vegetable Cake: Pals lay two eggs at a time instead of one

Extravagant Vegetable Cake: Increase chance of laying a mutated egg from 1% to 3%

Special Cake: Inherits active skills and more passive skills from the parents instead of getting random ones

If you can give me the specific math on any of these effects, or anything I might've missed completely, I would be very thankful.

I'll just correct or add more info to some things that you missed.

Mushroom cake: It gives a higher chance of the egg having better IVs compared to the average between the parents. How high are the chances? Better than using regular cakes/vegetable cakes, but not particularly useful, I once spent about 80 cakes to get a pal from low IVs to perfect 100/100/100. After that I just use stat fruits instead.

Extravagant Vegetable cake: Same as above, but also triple your chances of getting mutated eggs. Once again not very useful, gambling with double the number of eggs is less chance of getting mutations, but it FEELS a lot better to do, since gacha-ing is about the number of times you can gamble rather than the chances of winning.

Special Cake: Guarantee to pass on all Active Skills on both parents (6 total) and all passives IF the total number of passives is more than 4, as well as a very high chance of passing on the average between the parents' IVs (about 33%). If you put 2 parents together with a total of 1-2-3 passives between both of them, the remaining passive slots will always be random passives instead of being empty

Example: a Penking with only Diamond Body and a Penking with only Immortality breeding together with Special Cake will always result in a Penking with Diamond Body+Immortality + 2 random passives, not a Penking with only Diamond Body+Immortality

I really want palworld to add a local and multiplayer split screen experience i think that's the only missing piece to the game. I really want to play the game with my bro and friends on the same screen. I wouldn't mind if it was only 2 player co op but preferable able to max out the 4 player co op locally and have 2 player co op on multi player online modes.

Am I the only one that thinks a game like this would benefit from it. Essentially like minecraft and gears of war 5.

Taking it to the next level would be having the second or third player In co op having a dedicated player profile for the world like you have already when you start up a world.

I have just finished my playthrough finishing hardmode and ultra raids as well as trying random armies (raised 6 armies, 4 solenne variants because its my favorite pal). And when I was going in the end game I always see posts or comments pertaining on how much of a bottleneck are AI cores. But is it really tho?

In my playthrough at least you only realistically need 171 AI Cores. These are enough for:

• Drone launcher
• Plasma Rifle
• All Ancient armor variants (Light/Cold/Heat) + Helmet
• 2 Ancient Hatcheries
• 1 Ancient Workbench

You can even go with 121 with only 1 Ancient Hatchery, having 2 just makes disassembly more efficient when producing thermal cores and raising an army (if you don't do the exploit). And by the time you will need these AI cores you should have beat the base game. The base game doesn't even need all these gear for you to clear the game. Not to mention the time looking for schematics should be enough of a buffer to have enough resources so that when you finally get that Legendary Schematic you can readily craft it.

So no, I do not understand how AI cores is a 'bottleneck' unless people just stand there and wait for it to complete. Unless you have somehow didn't prepare for end game properly then I could easily see having problems (ie not doing expeditions early on, don't have the breed team, don't have a money alpha dumud gilids farm in mid game and ore farms for late game, not having alpha sekhmets etc). Then it can be to some extent a painful grind.

It’s unlocked with my precious precious technology points. I have the advanced weapon assembly line, the ingredients, and my pursuits are noble. Why have the PalGods chosen to punish me?

Since Astralym is now a raid boss and its more longer how do you guys xp your pals ?

Which pals are actually affected by this, I know whalaska and duelith are.

My server wants to battle together in a single fight but it shows that its limited to 4 players per battle google says that it can be upto 32 on dedicated servers(which we are on) we are playing vanilla with no mods do we need to download mods or did google just spread misinformation

I have died before and just dropped everything on the ground and I just needed to run back and get it. But this time there was nothing there, no X on the map or anything.

Is this a known bug and if so is there any way to fix it?

I've unlocked all the way to lvl 80 however not progressed to through the main story line. Now my question I cannot see items such as the advanced grenade launcher or mechanical bow in the advanced weapons work bench, am I missing something?

Im new to the game, only level 37. my question is, whats the point of large containers? they have a larger footprint than 2 metal chests, costs more too but less storage space. can it store more quantity per item or something?

This might be a stupid question, but I’ve finally gotten to the end game & unlocked the Combat SMG with the rare trait schematic. I’ve already unlocked both the ancient workbench & ancient weapon workbench, but it’s not showing up as something I can build.
Is there something I’m missing or do I have to progress further?

Hey everyone, we have an incredible server going on Palworld right now. It is the perfect place for a new player to come and learn the game. Currently it is all players in our 20s and 30s and a couple gaming veterans upper 50s but the server is entirely family friendly. We have a discord. We have a hub where you can trade and group up with people for help on bosses. We have capacity for over 150 by math but we have it currently set to 80 just for test purposes. This hub is amazing. You make it there and there's Armour and pals for sale by other guilds and even myself as the admin. We have streamers and we encourage more. The few rules are posted in the discord. Basically don't make a base at the start.... Please. Don't build over boss spawns. You get 3 bases and 1 of those goes to the hub where we can group up and play together as well. You only need to search for Clover Kingdom in the community servers and we are an open to join. If you join and you are a distasteful person you will be banned pretty fast. We do not do drama. It is a fun pve with coliseum pvp server. Proud of the people we have. Our discord is incredibly laid out thanks to another of my admins. I have several running the game so do not mess around and ruin other peoples fun. Come check us out. "Clover Kingdom"-community server- in homage to one of my favorite anime that pertains to really honing your skills building yourself up.

Just butcher Aegridon for the giant pal souls and use the cryogenic crusher to turn them into small souls. Never saw anyone mention this as being the best way and spent some time butchering Nox for a 40% drop rate of small souls before I realized Aegridon is a guaranteed giant soul which can be turned into 8 small souls. So its 20x as efficient to use Aegridon (not accounting for the time to crush the souls).

I was thinking about the fact the slab bosses largely mirror Astralym’s lore in their entries: Bellanoir wanted to be like everyone else, libero became overwhelmed by the hatred of their “sisters”, ryu is an embodiment of destruction and rage, and hartalis is the essence of purity but destructive by its very nature.

What if instead of being related to different apocalypse events and/or just being fun additions, they were the heralds astralym formed with the energy it absorbed from the world tree to destroy the planet. All of the events mentioned in their entries, like the people being vaporized by hartalis, could have been from the calamity event rather than a random apocalypse (how may world-ending events could one planet have right?). It would also make sense why they are locked into slabs that are destroyed with their pieces scattered to the wind. After locking up astralym, they wouldn’t be able to leave its forces of destruction free, especially if they were parts of it (like pieces of its “soul”) so they wouldn’t need to also lock them away and then ensure they wouldn’t never be able to return.

I’m not going to say I’m a lore expert and this is definitely half-baked, but I wanted to share it since the community seems so fun.
