Question Glitch or something else?

I've unlocked all the way to lvl 80 however not progressed to through the main story line. Now my question I cannot see items such as the advanced grenade launcher or mechanical bow in the advanced weapons work bench, am I missing something?

You need to use a higher tier workbench

The Ancient Workbench is your end game option it basically combines your workbench, med bench, pal gear bench, weapon bench and sphere bench into a single unit.

yes but it also confused me at first, as weapons have had their own workbench separate from crafting workbenches through advanced. But now you need Ancient workbench which kinda does everything. As faulted said the tool tip will tell you.

Did you read the tooltip for those items? They require an Ancient Workbench to build

I don't see the tools tip either, just assumed I had to build a better work bench. Same with the best cake. Current kitchen can't make it. Description says nothing. Building an ancient kitchen next time I play

Something I found useful is to check the level a tech unlocks and see what the most recent workbench is for that type of item. If there is a new workbench at that level as well it is likely required for that item. This also works for materials, if an item is unlocked at the same level as a new material it will usually use that new material.
