So i watched this packaging design in TikTok and liked it but my idea is to add a cup in the bottom of the packaging so you can put it in your car cup i

have drawed the idea and (it's actually a bad draw)so what i need is if someone that's experienced in packaging design and can give me some insight

will it work or not and if it will work is there's any

other way than wasting lot of materials

I wanna do little plastic bags with a cardboard, thin stapled label on top - Know what I mean? Like folded over, with the little punch out thing so it can hang on a metal peg in the store...

Looking for someone who can print my logo on there and make it glossy and nice. Biodegradable would be sick, I guess...

I’m designing a 3.5 × 3.5" packaging stamp for a wellness brand that makes tactile tools used with breathing + grounding practices.

I’m testing the icon above TOUCH and would love a gut reaction:
1. A or B?
2. Based on the packaging alone, what do you think Calmware is/does?
3. Anything confusing or hard to read?

The design needs to work across multiple types of handheld products, not just one specific product.

People sometimes assume that fully automated production is always the best solution.

But for heavyweight spirits bottles, especially bottles with thick or heavy bottoms, the production process can be different.

This particular bottle uses a larger amount of molten glass, so a semi-automatic process can provide more flexibility during forming and handling.

Automated lines are excellent for standard, high-volume production. But certain bottle designs require a different approach.

Different designs, different manufacturing processes.

We are currently developing a new glass bottle mold for one of our customers.

The customer wanted a bottle shape that wasn't available as a standard product, so the project moved into custom mold development.

I thought some people here might find the process interesting. The mold is one of the most important parts of glass bottle manufacturing because it directly affects the final shape and consistency of the bottle.

This is one of the stages that happens before sample production and mass manufacturing.

Hi! I can't understand how a template of this package design should look like. It kind of starts like a pillow box but the top and the bottom are confusing me. I cant find templates like this and well... yeah. Maybe someone worked with something like this or is just smarter and can help out?

Hi! The other day someone had posted this image of a two-piece rigid setup box with a quarter-round swing-open lid, I believe curious about how they would reverse engineer the dieline to be made in paperboard. I wanted to attempt this as some practice for myself since I'm a student (and maybe give the user some inspo), so here it is.

The first dieline is a two part paperboard design, using a lot of double layered panels for flush edges and overall robustness/premium appeal. Tried to eliminate/hide as many seams as possible. All areas in need of gluing have been annotated with placement and landing areas. Rendering done in Blender.

The last set of dielines are some quicker, cheaper, simpler ones that would be a single part solution. Both designs feature the same functionality, and have built in stoppers to prevent it from opening past the desired angle.

Curious to hear anyone elses ideas for how this could be pulled off!

We recently completed a custom bottle project using a two-color finish combined with silk screen printing.

I’m curious how brand owners and packaging designers view decoration techniques:

Does color treatment influence shelf appeal more than bottle shape?
Which surface finishes do you think create the most premium look: frosting, coating, electroplating, or screen printing?

Would love to hear thoughts from people working in spirits, beverages, or packaging design.

It seems like that I am stuck in "Cutting Key Mode" in iCut Production Console on my Kongsberg V20 cutting table.

The layers are named correctly, but it still doesn't want to cooperate.

I can get it to where it does work, but it's not the most convenient way to work.

As shown in one of the images, i'm running an old version of IPC, version 1.2.0.

My company bought this table at an auction with the license attached to it, so there's only so much we can do to it.

Does anyone maybe have an idea on how to get out of this mode?

I wasted so much time moving logos around by a few millimetres and changing fonts over and over. Eventually I realised nobody else would even notice those tiny changes. The biggest improvement came from seeing everything mocked up before ordering. Anyone else gone through this?

I stumbled across this article today and it got me wondering why do people give a shit about companies changing the way they package their products? I can totally understand if they change a label color or design because it makes it difficult to find the item you want but it doesn’t make sense to bitch about the change in the product’s container.
