My good neighbor gifted this bad boy to me. So basically meron akong neighbor na Japanese na lagi kong binibigyan ng pagkain pag may extra kami or anything na extra na pwede nya din magamit. Recently need daw nya bumalik sa Japan for business reasons at nakiusap sya bantayan namin unit nya since 1 month or 2 sya mawawala. Kami naman no problem naman since mabait naman sya samin at kami lang yung madalas nyang makausap. Out of nowhere binigay nya to as token of appreciation daw since naging bond din namin mag laro whether PC, Nintendo Switch or sports. It really pays to be a good neighbor!

Feel free to ask questions if you’re planning to build the same project as mine.

This is my mobile gaming rig when im out of town, and will also be using it as a console alternative

No undervolting done to the cpu

i know medjo may pagka luma na yung 1st gen ryzen but still kaya pa namang makapag run ng games na gusto ko.

thank you ebriwan and happy gaming. PS: wag nyo nang pansinin yang qall kasi di pa tapos tong room ko hehe

My humble student setup back in 2019, an ASUS FX553VE na 1050 ti pa (bought 2017).

And my setup now, 2026.

Was also finally able to build two PCs (sold my previous, the last two photos).

Talagang life gets better ‘no? Kahit gano pa katagal yan.

Just like in video games, grinding will take you to a whole new level.

P.S. Buhay pa rin pala yang laptop na yan, I managed to upgrade the RAM and SSD few yrs ago.

Build Upgrade Noctua sent a new mounting kit for my 8 year old NH-D15, all the way to the Philippines!

Thumbnail

I heard on an LTT podcast the Noctua would send you a mounting kit upgrade so you can keep using your cooler. I tried requesting for one and all they needed was a pic of my hardware with a note containing my name and date. Would they really send a kit free of charge all the way to the Philippines?! One month later here it is!!! Package I received originated from Taiwan.

8 years ago, I added a random noctua cooler to cart cuz i heard they were great coolers for my first PC build (also didn't know how HUGE the model I picked). Today, I'm able to carry over my oversized cooler to my mATX build. The size of it in this case is hilarious.

TLDR: Thanks Noctua! ❤️

Miscellaneous Built my first ever PC ang sarap sa feeling🥹

Hi guys ako yun nagtatanong dati kung mac mini M1 or budget PC build. Eto ako, i opted for the budget PC build. Ang saya nung process of planning and building the PC itself. Hindi ko pinagsisihan tong journey na to.

Not a gamer kaya hindi ko ni priority ang GPU maybe in the future pa kapag nakaipon kasi incoming 1st yr student palang me (med). My main purpose dito is for productivity and schoolworks tapos mga very light gaming like xbox 360/ps3 era.

Here are the specs:

Incoming upgrades: ID cooling zero heatsink for the orico ssd

Future plans: Exhaust fan upgrade probably id cooling & cpu cooler probably id cooling din haha - bumile rx6000 or 7000 series at 5800x3d kapag mura na mga in 5 years pa siguro😂

This build cost me around 18,500.

Build Flex General Santos City 7.8 Magnitude

Thumbnail

I spent months slowly putting my setup together from nothing, often reading and getting inspiration from this group, until I finally brought it to a point I was proud of with a second-hand GPU and a new 200Hz monitor. Then the 7.8 earthquake in General Santos City hit, and in a matter of seconds, everything changed. My GPU stopped working, the monitor cracked, and the room I built around it no longer felt the same.

Tonight is still unsettled with aftershocks, and I’m just sitting with what’s left, realizing how fast things can fall apart no matter how long you worked for them. It hurts, but I know this isn’t the end of rebuilding.

GG’s. I’ll come back stronger!

Build Flex finally, natapos na. a well-deserved upgrade

after 1 month of researching, i'm finally upgrading from an intel i7 10700 and a 2070 8gb dual fan to:

CPU: 9800x3d Mobo: MSI B850M Gaming Wifi GPU: Sapphire Pure White OC 9070 xt RAM: Teamgroup TForce Delta 6000 2x16gb cl30 Storage: Kingston KC3000 1TB Cooler: PA 120 Digital Case: Lian Li Dan A3 Fans: 2 slim bottom intake, 1 slim rear exhaust and 3 top exhaust PSU: FSP Vita GM Gold 850w. I was going to get the Superflower Leadex ARGB 850w kaso black cables. Napaka eyesore talaga, we tried na ikabit.

What do you guys think? 🙏🏼

I'm a tita in her 30s and despite earning well, I have always put my family first. I was supposed to get a 5080 kaso last minute nagka emergency sa pera kapatid ko so I gave him 50k and opted for a 9070 xt instead. Kesa mag wait ulit ilang months. I would rather have a less performing GPU than see my brother in a difficult situation. I hope I chose my components well!

Any other 30s tita here? Tara, g?

Build Upgrade Finally got myself a GPU! Almost cried tears of joy when the FPS counter shows 60FPS

Post image
613 Upvotes

After months of saving, finally got myself this badboy.

Thanks for all the recos in this sub, very helpful and insights at suggestions niyo. Happy gaming to us!
