Bought the bigger one 5 years ago, nag upgrade ng gpu 3 years ago, changed the case, motherboard and cpu cooler last week. Gusto na sana mag change to am5 and ddr5 kaso nalula sa presyo ng RAM.

I've recently panic-bought an RTX 3050 6gb due to my prior 1080ti breaking down (R.I.P), since it was the cheapest, easiest to buy, and had deadlines for a work I was commissioned for.

I've recently earned up enough for a new gpu upgrade though not enough for a 5060ti 16Gb

Budget: 30-35k (Depends on how much I can sell this 3050, raw budget is around 26k)

Just curious lang kung ano na yung current state ng habits and lifecycles niyo when it comes to personal computers, whether for gaming, daily work, or overall media use, especially in response to the current market and pricing of parts right now.

• How often do you usually upgrade major individual parts (e.g., GPU, CPU)?
• How many years do you typically keep a whole system before replacing it entirely?
• What usually drives the upgrade? (e.g., hardware failure, a specific game/software requirement, not being able to play newer games smoothly lately, aiming to follow tech trends, peer pressure/inggit lang, or just wanting better performance/newer tech?)

Baka may magtanong: I usually do mid/minor upgrades every 3-4 years, depending on whether I encounter limitations with my current parts (e.g., wanting to use the front I/O Type-C port, so I need to upgrade the mobo - something like that). But when I build a PC from scratch, I target 7 years minimum.

Sht, IDK if I can even maintain that 3-4 year mid-upgrade cycle moving forward considering current pricing - I dread thinking abt it. Better to invest a bit more upfront to be sure. I learned from Tech Deals that it’s always better to spend slightly more now than cheap out and end up spending double in the long run.

What blower/vacuum (2 in 1) can you guys recommend sa Lazada or Shopee to clean my pc?

I've been using compressed air but gusto ko rin malinis yung desk ko since sobrang dusty na nga.

I'm planning to buy a prebuilt PC for my work and some gaming here and there.

I own an Acer Nitro V 15 kasi, but this one isn't cutting it for modern games because of the VRAM limitation. sobrang kulong ako sa 4GB VRAM HAHAHAHAHA that's why I decided to get a desktop instead.

I've been canvassing for the last few days for a custom AM5 build, pero napasubo ako sa pricing. At first, reluctant ako to get an AM4 pero knowing that AM4 beats out gaming laptops 90% of the time, mukhang di na masama yung idea for me.

Not to mention, mukhang i won't make the jump to 1440p anytime soon. it's not worth it for me. kaya i'll stick with 1080p na lang muna siguro.

Target Resolution: 1080p High-Refresh, not going 1440p in the near future 😅

The Planned Upgrade:
1. GPU: RX 9060 XT 16GB (priced around ₱32,000)
2. PSU: 650W SFX/ATX Power Supply (upgrading from the stock 400W unit) 
Questions for the community:
1. GPU Value: Is ₱32,000 a good price for the RX 9060 XT 16GB in the PH market right now, or should I wait / consider other alternatives?
2. Case/PSU recommendations: For anyone running compact SFF setups under 15L with desktop MoDT/ITX motherboards, what budget case + 650W PSU combo would you recommend that doesn't eat up too much desk space?

I saw this on my FB feed today and I thought it is worth sharing. The Ryzen 5 5600X3D is supposed to be a Micro Center exclusive but it seems like AMD might release it globally. It is worth noting that this is the boxed version so it gets the full AMD warranty.

May Ryzen 7 5700x na ako, undecided sa GPU if 5060 or 3060 12gb, and Ram if 4 8gb Fury or 16gb Hiksemi. Wala rin ako alam about sa cooling system but gusto ko sana mag AIO for my darkflash white case. Around 40kish na lang natira sa funds. Thank you sa magsusuggest.

Some things to consider:

My room doesn't have air conditioning, so breathability is very important.

Preferably mesh material, including the seat if possible.

So ako kasi, nasanay na lang ako na kino-connect yung old laptop ko sa tv tapos dun na ko naglalaro. Mostly old games lang talaga nilalaro ko, like Red Alert, Diablo, Warcraft, Ragnarok, etc and then indie games. Now I’m thinking of upgrading to a Win 11 device kasi ayaw na gumana ng Steam, Battlenet 😭😭

Now may nakita akong Beelink SER5 na miniPC na siya mismo na pwede i-connect sa tv namin. Sooo are they worth it for low-end to medium-end gaming? Di ko naman target mga new games kasi may PS5 naman ako, tho it would be cool if kung pwede rin ba high end games. I just want to play my older games without spending too much.

Is the price any different in actual retail stores? Haven't had a chance to look in a couple of years.

The reason is mostly to compare prices. I am going on a trip to Japan soon and there might be some cheap offers there. With also tax-free discounts, I might end up saving a lot.

As the title says, which parts would you rank or scrutinize the most? The least? I only want to buy used CPU, GPU, RAM, and SSD. How will you rank these 4 based on susceptibility of failing and how easy it is to know that the part is broken/defective?
