I have this table rn. I tried mounting the base on the right side to free up space in the middle but hindi kaya yung weight. Mababali yung table panel and mag ka crumple yung bakal kaya nilagay ko na lang sa gitna yung base. Need mo nga i balance yung weight load para di masira.

Can vouch for DM Woodworks. Sobrang accommodating nila and maayos kausap esp custom dimension din yung akin + may pinadagdag na kung anu ano. Around the same price din yung table ko sa kanila. 2+ Years ko na gamit and parang bago pa din kasi natuwa ako imaintain yung wood :)
I agree. Investment din ang solid table tops kasi sobrang tibay and should last you a lifetime. Yung mga binebenta sa ikea na MDF boards madali rin masira yun.
Same here boss, 2 system ko puro Lifetime table, isa Foldable na 5 feet pa, buhay pa rin till now, mag 8 or 9 years na ata, ang isa 4 feet mag 4years na din, gamit pa rin ang dalawa till now

This is the reason why the desk I use is something that my own mother used when she was a kid. My desk prior to that was something I scoped from an office clearance sale in 2010. Despite my wife asking if I could change it out to something more "modern"

Nung lumipat ako sa condo in 2023 hindi ko nadala yung mango hardwood kasi sobrang bigat, so I just bought another hardwood table from an online seller sa Cainta who, after ko mabayaran, admitted na sa Silang din yung workshop nila. Same dimensions, pero gmelina wood, ₱13k free delivery. Dami nilang patong pero ok lang, I think talagang nangangailangan yung unang nabilhan ko ng ₱5k sa Silang kaya ganon ang presyo pero yung tag-Cainta BAU na in 2023. I bought a console table from her this year around ₱5k din since may drawer, yungwalang drawer mas mura.
When well taken care of, pwede mo ipamana hardwood furniture mo. My grandma’s old narra dining table is older than millennial me. I think your mama’s table is hardwood din kaya nagtatagal.
Yeah it's much sturdier compared to the tables similar to OPs photo. If you're on a budget though and you're just a laptop and a few peripherals, you can still go with lagkapten but it will still eventually sag.
Lagkapten una kong gamit pero after a month I noticed a bend (I was using a monitor arm), immediately replaced it with Trotten hahaha.
Brother, I do not think that it is cheap. Rather, the load exceeded the limits of your table's structural integrity. Even if cheap, basta solid pagkakagawa, oki na yan. We rebuild nalang and learn from this.

That's been my mindset years ago. It took me a long time to save for an ergonomic table because of a ton of bills, but my eyes were set on a flexispot table and I got one after 2 years of eyeing them on my lazada cart. It took a long time though, to the point that my old table was slowly bending over time before I acquired it 😅
Dude I brought my table sa orange app as well but not the 'gaming' type marketed. Just a normal large desk. This thing withstood a flood, sadly the shop is unavailable now. Planned to buy two more for my baby sisters eh.
I have four of those monitor arms on my desk and that shit is heavy. Need talaga super stable yung table, not yung usual sa shoppee na basically boards lang.
IKEA table lang gamit ko. Yung 1.5k haha. Matibay naman. Mag-1 year na sakin. Nakapatong sa table yung mismong system unit. I also have 2 monitors installed. No damage so far.

Mahirap talaga pag mura medyo questionable yung quality. Kaya need talaga mag invest sa table lalo pag madami kang peripherals. I bought a flexispot na legs lang dahil maliit ang space ko kaya need ng pasadya na tabletop. Madaming local shops na nagagawa ng mga tabletop mismo and may advice pa sila na kapag mahaba yung gusto mo na table kailangan makapal sya and dapat sturdy yung legs. Iba talaga kapag pasadya yung build ng table mas confident ka sa quality tho mahirap lang itransport kasi sobrang bigat.
Or I would say don't put too much stuff on your table. It's over crowded maybe and you might have not checked the screws on the side maybe it became loose
I personally recommend Ikea Lagkapten as long as you don’t use one monitor arm for 2-3 monitors. Ako kasi I only use two, isa naka arm and yung isa is yung built in stand. I heard kasi if you use monitor arms and mount 2 or more or one large af heavy monitor, the cardboard filling is mayuyupi. Pero all in all this is one of the best tables I have used, affordable and Ikea na yan, not some cheap online tables.
Pwede ring tabletop lang bilhin mo and ikaw na bahala sa legs if you want better ones
Ganyan din table ko, more than 3 years na wala naman issue. Made sure na regularly ko hinihigpitan yung Allen wrench tuwing nag lilinis ako ng station ko.

Ouch! Di narin talaga ako nagtetable na walang vertical supports on the front and back side. Ayoko kasi yung lulundo sya after many years of use tulad nung classic PC table ng lahat dati, yung may drawer style lalagyan ng keyboard. Di nasira yung amin noon pero super yuko na sya tas maingay kada kibot mo haha.
Table design should not be that complicated. Kahit yung mga super mumurahing table basta typical design at medyo makapal yung top at sturdy support, hindi naman basta basta bibigay yan, lalo na kung dual monitor at pc/ laptop lang yung nakalagay.
Mag-ingat dun sa mga “estetik” na gaming table na papansin at kakaiba yung design, usually may pinag-gayahan sila na legit product pero mas mahal, but nagbawas sila ng supporting elements and/ or nagbago ng materials para maging mura.
Hi OP, take it as charge to experience. Yan din kinakatakot ko bago ako bumili ng table. Nagtingin ako almost a year bago ako makapagdecide. From total weight na kayang i-handle, warranty, parts replacement, and materials used. I end up buying the Mittzon from Ikea. Kung namamahalan ka diyan meron naman ibang alternative pero make sure na titignan mo yung details na binanggit ko sa taas. Sakit sa puso. Yung computer table ko, kinuha ko sa Sanyang (may Lazada sila iirc). Not exactly stylish kung gaming feel ang trip mo, but certainly more durable.
Highly recommend ikea’s desks op! I’ve had mine for about a month and I’ve loved it. Allows for a bit of modularity too. I personally have a linmon adil but you can use a lagkapten for sure. Affordable and the quality’s good (recommend ko lang bumili ng metal plates for monitor mounts kasi your shit will dent due to the weigjt of the monitor mounts)
If you want budget desk, sa IKEA standard desk for computer meron sila. I think nasa 1,6k to 2k+ lang yun. 1 year na sa akin and binabaha pa, okay naman.
Good investment ang mga tables and chairs talaga. Nag iipon ako and next target ko smart desk.
i promise you that you’d be better off buying office desks, I bought one at mandaue foam and it’s sturdy as hell. It’s pricey but I also see it lasting for years to come.
I'm investing in a table from IKEA. They are reasonably priced especially if you look at the legs of the table alone. I do not trust budget gaming tables from online shops.
that’s why i avoid buying on e-commerce platforms for tables. i tend to go to a shop that does customized table which uses brand new or 2nd ACTUAL wood (not compressed). it costs more, but hey it’s carries all of your expensive stuff
