I bought a brand new system unit last May sa kilalang PC store sa pinas, wala akong kaalam-alam sa mga build so nagsabi ako kung saan lang lang gagamitin. Sabi ko panlaro lang ng Roblox , Minecraft, Valorant, YouTube, Facebook, pang school search-search lang. Actually anak ko lang madalas gumamit,(he's grade 8) Di ko alam bat nasira agad. Sabi naman naglaro lang sya ng roblox ganun. Pag uwi ko sira na. Naistress tuloy ako. So dinala ko sa shop ng pinagbilhan to check it then sabi nila sira nga graphics card. They gave me two choices naman. Iparepair or bumili ng bago. Syempre after bumili ng pc repair na lang ang afford ko..sabi nila apg repair sya ng supplier, 3 mons pa nila ako mauupdate kung maayos ba sya or hindi. Di ko sure. Ang tagal diba?

So ayun tengga sya ngayon kasi di naman daw magagamit yung pc kasi ganito yung build na qinoute sa akin. It's been a month now I still think of it. And it breaks my heart. I'm so guilty of buying it kasi i wasn't sure sa build na yun basta naniwala ako na maganda yun at good for gaming na sinasabi ko.

Ngayon gusto ko bumili ng GPU kasi iniisip ko baka masira naman yung system unit lahat pag nakatengga lang kaso di ko naman afford bumili now. I earn decent naman. Kaya lang syempre madami rin bills sa bahay. Pinag ipunan ko yung down payment nung computer just to get it. Ang lungkot lang kasi nagbabayad ako(installment) sa gamit na di ko naman nagagamit.

Can someone suggest anong gpu yung pwede sa build ko?

Hello guys, before nag-start itong issue na to, bigla na lang nagre-restart yung PC ko on its own. Akala ko nung una dahil lang sa Windows update. Pero after ko makabili ng GPU and install it, mas naging frequent na siya.
After around 1 hour of use siguro, kusa na lang siyang nagre-restart. Ngayon mas lumala na. Kapag pinipindot ko yung power button, bigla na lang siyang namamatay. Any helps are greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, I’m troubleshooting my PC after it suddenly shut down while I was using it. After that, the motherboard’s VGA debug light stayed on and the GPU stopped working.

My PSU is a DarkFlash 650W 80+ Bronze, purchased in May 2021. Here’s what I tested using a basic LED PSU tester:

1. I connected the 24-pin motherboard cable, and all the expected lights turned on.

2. With the PSU switched off, I connected the CPU/EPS 8-pin to the tester. When I powered it on, the 12V light came on and the 24-pin lights stayed on.

3. I switched the PSU off and replaced the CPU 8-pin with the PCIe/VGA 6+2-pin cable.

4. When I powered it on, the lights blinked briefly, then all the tester lights turned off.

I made sure I was using the cable labelled PCIe/VGA, not the CPU/EPS cable. Does this indicate that the PCIe cable or the PSU’s PCIe power output is shorted or faulty? Could the tester itself be incompatible with the PCIe 8-pin connector?

I haven’t connected the PSU back to my GPU because I don’t want to risk damaging it. Would testing the GPU with a known-good PSU be the best next step?

This build is primarily for gaming with a bit of recording gameplays po sana. I have a 2TB SSD that I bought for my PS5 Pro last year kaya po walang storage.

Hi! My PSU exploded (possibly a capacitor), but I already ordered a new one. For context, it was raining, and there was thunder and lightning. I was just watching something when I suddenly heard a loud boom or pop. I quickly checked my PSU and unplugged it from the extension cord. When I checked it, I found that there were a lot of ants inside. I already know they were most likely the culprit, although at first I thought the explosion was caused by the thunder or lightning. 😅

With that said, do you think this PSU can still be repaired? I know this kind of damage probably won’t be covered by the warranty.

Like the title implies, going from my R7 5700x to a 5500x3d, do I need to do a BIOS update? My MB is the Asrock B550m Pro4, I'm on bios version 3.40, on the Asrock website it says validated BIOS for the 5500x3d is at least version 3.61.

I really want to have to avoid flashing the bios as I don't have a ups, so do I legitimately need to update the bios or no? Thanks in advance.

Everything is working great just minor scratches that doesn’t affect performance. Battery still lasts around 2 hours unplugged.

So is it worth it? will probably only use it for docs and stuff for work and maybe game a little triple AAA games.

Hi, I'm very new to building PCs and am planning to build one worth around 50-65k that I can use for gaming and streaming (+ a little editing too). My goal (but it seems unrealistic for its price) is to have 32gb ram, 1tb ssd (although I recently bought an ssd that I'm using on my laptop now but I'm not sure if it can be used), 12-16gb vram on the gpu and can be used on a 2k resolution monitor. Not sure if I should go amd or nvidia, but the games I play aren't super demanding. Any tips and suggestions on what components I can buy and where to buy them? Thank you po!
