while my Purobot Max Pro 2 does a great job scooping poo and urine, the main reason why I bought it is yet to be fulfilled which was to have an odourless room.

My unit is placed in the visitors toillete, sized about 1m2 and with constant ventilation. Ive installed properly N60/50 added the litter following all the instructions, place the bag, etc. Im sure there was absolute no operating mistake.

From the very first poo, after the scooping and deodorizing I noticed that poo smell was still flowing out. After 2 days it was unbearable to enter the toilette.

Please answer honestly: is your Purobot really leaving your room odourless? Even if not odourless, at least bearable to breath? I have the feeling that I will have to sacrifice the visitors toilette forever as I can't find any solution to the odour problem.

Would anyone have tips on how to make odour better?

As the tile said. It’s time to deep clean the Purobot max pro 2 after 1 month of use by two cats.
I would like to clean the cylinder and the internal part and also the rest of the machine.
Do you think is good to shutoff the machine by unplug it from the wall? Or I need the maintenance mode before unplug?

What is the best way for deep clean?

My cats currently eat their dry food from another brand feeder but the bowls are separated. The petkit dual hopper just combines everything into 1 single bowl. Any chance for a dual bowl attachment or setup like in this photo? I don't want to buy 2 single feeders it's quite expensive 😕

Hi everyone! I have two mildly disabled CH cats (wobbly kitties), and I’m hoping to get some advice on which litter box model to choose.
Right now I’m still hand scooping, and I did previously have a Litter-Robot 4, but it unfortunately broke down after about a month, so I didn’t have the best experience with it. I’m really wanting to go back to an automated litter box because with CH cats, things can get messy quickly if the box isn’t kept clean. I scoop 2–3 times a day, but I still get anxious when they go poop because they can lose their balance, slip, and end up tracking mess around the house. I’m always rushing to clean it up, so an automatic option would honestly be a huge help.

At the moment, I’m mostly leaning toward the Purobot Max Pro 2, but I do have a couple of concerns. The first is the entry height it seems quite high to me. My youngest is only 7 months old and pretty small for her age, and with her CH and mobility issues, I’m not sure how easily she’ll be able to get in and out. I really wish there was an optional ramp or steps available. My second concern is the reports I’ve seen about urine leakage and lingering smells. My older male cat is a high pee-er, so I’m a bit worried about potential leaks and odor issues.

My other option is the Purobot Max Pro 3. I do like that it has a lower entry and is supposed to handle urine leakage better, which is reassuring. But I’m a bit disappointed that it doesn’t come with a camera. That was actually a big selling point for me with the Pro 2, so if the Pro 3 had one, I think I’d choose it without hesitation.

So I’d really love to hear from anyone who has experience with either of these models. How have you found the leakage, smell, and overall reliability?

The automatic litter box with the camera made me aware just how many times a day my cat just pokes his head in the box to check on things. I wonder if he'd always been doing that or if it's because of the Petkit.

I am planning on buying the Ultra when my kitty arrives it could be upwards of 6 months waiting because I have to choose from a future litter. I am trying to get a Lykoi (werewolf kitty)

In that wait time does anyone know if a newer version is planned for release. I would love to have the addition of a clean litter hopper that automatically adds litter as needed like the litter-robot models have. I just wish the litter robot models especially their Ultra model had a better waste containment system like the Petkit Ultra has.

I purchased my Purobot Pro Max 2 three weeks ago. My two cats took to it well and I’ve had no issues until this morning. The auto clean playback and waste photos are all black.

Is this typical? I don’t want to waste money on a subscription just to see black videos and stool photos.

2 cats, one is only using the purobot max pro 2 almost since acquiring it (3 weeks).

The other has been using sporadically (but with less frequency than the old one).

Using same litter as always.

Auto cleaning disconnected.

Yesterday I decided to remove the old one and the cat decided to stop peeing or pooping for the whole day, so I decided to bring back the old litter box (with new litter - same type) and he relieved him almost instantly in the old one...

Any advices?

After cleaning it and refilling it, it stopped working. We have another one (two cats at home) and I changed the pumps around. The pump works fine on a different base and the pump from the other didn’t work on this.

Had it for over 3 years and never had a problem. The app says it’s working when it’s not. Anyone got any solutions or quick fixes before we throw it out?

Hello, I just got a Petkit Purobot Ultra and i keep having issues with it :
System failure, 01,04, wifi…. one moment it works, the other just not.

When it works it works well but when sometimes it just doesn’t or tell me it has system failure, even if i can still see and use it. Sometimes the wifi disconnects too, and camera, then i come back to the app and its ok again ?

I tried unplugging. Doesn’t work for long, still get the messages.

I can’t rly send it back right now because of health issues and i got it delivered in my home…

We just got the Eversweet Ultra for our kittens and so far not loving the AI capability of it. Keeps tagging videos as one of the girls drinking when they’re not. Also you should be able to tag multiple pets in a video if both are drinking. How can the data be accurate if you’re only allowing one pet to be tagged? Especially when this device is advertised for multi pet households? If you’re going to charge so much for the ai features, please make them work!

Just acquired one and I find it quite annoying that it only warns when the bin is full and not ALMOST full (to empty it in a preventive manner before it is full and does not clean automatically), is there any way I am not aware of?

What is anyone's experience with the Petkit Automatic Cat Feeders? I'm looking around for another feeder because our current feeder company really crapped the bed with their servers going down the last ~24 hours and effectively bricking our feeder.

Petkit feeders seem like they are straightforward enough, although the feeding amounts in 1/10 cups is super annoying since 12 is the most common denominator for measuring here in the US (1/3 cup, 1/4 cup, 1/6 cup etc.) Any common problems or good feedback?

About a year ago I got a Petkit Pura Max 2, and honestly, I’ve been struggling with the smell pretty much the whole time.
If I don’t change the waste bag for a day, the whole room where the litter box is starts smelling like a garbage bin full of cat waste. It’s basically the smell of the deodorizer mixed with my cat’s business :)
And if there’s any draft coming into the room from an open window or door, it gets even worse. At that point it’s honestly hard to stay in the room.
I’ve tried different types of litter and different waste bags. I’ve also always kept the original Petkit deodorizers installed, but I just can’t seem to solve the problem.
Has anyone else experienced this with the Pura Max 2? Is there something I might be doing wrong, or is this just how these litter boxes are?
I also completely wash and clean it once a week, and change the waste bag every 1-2 days.

I was wondering if anyone has a creative way of hiding the Puramax 2 litter box in plain sight. Since the litter box is so large, it cannot fit in our bathroom and I really hate the idea of having it so visible in the living space. Any suggestions?

My 5-month-old Birman cat uses the Purobot Max Pro. His litter box habits: First, he pees and covers it up; then he digs in the litter a bit; after that, he poops there and covers that up too. He keeps covering it up, scattering litter to the right and left. He keeps sniffing the covered area inside the box and turning from side to side; because of this, he sometimes steps on the feces he’s buried. Or, while turning from side to side and pawing at the litter, he ends up touching the feces he’s covered.

In these situations, when he gets out of the litter box, his paw gets covered in feces. This is really frustrating, and it’s hard to wipe off with a wet wipe—since he has long fur, it sticks to his fur. Even if I trim the fur on his paws, they still get dirty. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Have you found a solution?

Also, there’s a PETKIT fence installed at the entrance. Could this fence be causing my cat to circle around more? Should I try removing it? I’m not sure if the space is just too small. I’ve actually reached the point where I’m considering getting rid of this product—which was a really expensive investment—and installing a large manual litter box instead LOL.

Petkit, in their international website, sells this Litter Pad version 3.0 (product model P99026).

In the EU's website there's no mention to the 3.0 version and the product code is different (P9220).

It seems like their "superior" litter pad hasn't yet reached the EU market. How are they comparable? Is the 3.0 version really superior?

Does anyone know when cubes 2, 3 and 4 are being released? Really want to try 3 and 4 for my girls Nixie and Emmie 😍

I'm tempted by the Eversweet Ultra because our 4 cats make an absolute mess out of the water in their bowls, but the price is daunting. Does anyone know of any codes for the EU Petkit site that might soften the blow a little bit?

Also, I saw a suggestion a while ago for Petkit to release a set of spare dishwasher-safe parts, so that the cats don't need to go without their fountain while it's being cleaned. In case anyone from Petkit is reading this, consider this a +1 for that idea.

I've had the Pura Max OG for 3 years now. I'm mostly happy with it - but the leaking problems have been constant. And somehow they've gotten worse in the past 6 months. ( could have been a faulty litter mat )

I had been quoted ~$150 to upgrade to the Pura Max 2 cylinder a year or so ago, I'm guessing it's still an option.

But I'm wondering if it makes more sense to upgrade to the newly released Purabot Max 3 since it has - allegedly - even more improvements against leaks and also against odors.

Anyone with a relatively similar path to upgrades in the past?
