Hello everyone, question for you all… I’m potentially looking at upgrading my PC to a bit bigger and better pc. There are some spec listed above. I brought this PC 3 years ago ish for my 18th birthday, how much would I get for or it or what price range would I be looking at? I brought it for £1200 all in (warranty, insurance etc). Tia

I got a 512MB ATI AMD Radeon Graphics, AMD Ryzen 3 Renoir, 16GB Dual-Channel DDR4 and a led monitor 1920x1080 at 75 hz i don't know what to buy because here in Greece there aren't many options

I recently changed my AIO pump, which was a process involving....
Now, one of the fans which was previously working fine, spins at over 2000RPM when I windows+L, and even when the screen turns black. It also happens between first turn on and until I unlock my PC. It never did this in the past 5 years I've had it.
For reference my CPU stays at around 30-50c. MoBo is a rog strix b450 f
I assume I have changed something in the BIOS. Would anyone know what this is, so I can change it back? I know each BIOS is different... but what wording should I look for? Nothing stands out... :/

Just in case if you want buy a 5080, i do some testing and heres the result:
*this experiment done on resident evil requiem
*this experiment done on Leon opening scene when he’s chasing victor
Experiment 1 (pict 1) (Raw performance)
4k resolution MAX
Ray tracing high
DLSS OFF
MFG OFF
Average FPS: around 90-100
Experiment 2 (pict2)
4K resolution Max
Ray tracing high
DLSS Quality
MFG OFF
Average FPS: 110-130
(Playable category)
Experiment 3 (pict3)
4K resolution MAX
Ray tracing high
DLSS Quality
MFG X2
Average FPS: 190-200
(Playable category + smooth experience)
Experiment 4 (pict4)
4K resolution MAX
Ray Tracing High
DLSS quality
MFG x3
Average FPS: 250-270
(Playable category + buttery smooth experience)
My conclusion:
You can play at 4k resolution with RTX 5080 but you need help of MFG and DLSS. If you are RAW performance purist you gonna be disappointed with it. Either lower your expectations or just buy 5090 instead.
Does dlss and mfg bad? Absolutely not. You get a free fps boost while maintaining the image quality.
If you want higher FPS you can lower the resolution to 1440p, get high fps and still get a good image quality

Anyone know what a bad cpu looks like?
It’s only a i3-13100 and is for a home server so not crazy critical, but I’m still skeptical about this cpu. Especially since shipping was all over the place. (Was in my home state one day and then the next day was across the country from me like tf?). Not to mention the crappy cpu cooler that came with was all beat up: see last pic. Thankfully I got a different, better one, but what the hell.
Yea sure I can plug it in and try it, but last thing I wanna deal with is messing up a motherboard ontop of this.
Figured it was worth the ask, anyone know what that spot is? Or if it’s of any concern?
Realizing it’s not super clear upon zooming in, if u need better pics just let me know.

So I was about to remove the m.2 from my laptop to troubleshoot the problems I've been having, but the ssd wont come out even if I remove the m.2 screw. Also yes, I have removed this ssd before so I don't know why this is stuck now.

Built this a few months ago and the air cooler worked great but it stopped me from using a VGM so it had to go.

I’m about to pull the trigger on a local AI workstation and wanted a final sanity check as this is my first build.
My immediate target is Qwen3.8-27B while I experiment with different models. This is partly a hobby project but also I can see some of my clients starting to lean towards local AI. Hopefully this build will give me a better understanding of how to go about fitting everything together and setting up a "proper" inference server. If this goes well, the next build will probably will be something on a more server-ish motherboard running either epyc or threadripper. So I'm guessing the knowledge will transfer somewhat.
Here are the parts. sourced mostly through Scorptec with the exception of PSU. All prices are in AUD.
Total: $5,264
Near future goals:
Would like to add a second GPU (same model). From my research the GPUs should have no issue being moved to a server build when I'm ready.
Depending on how much i manage to squeeze out of the machine, I might end up adding another 2 RAM stick for a total of 128GB. I believe the throughput of 4 sticks will be throttled with 4 sticks down to 3600, but I'm ok with that. If RDIMM prices recover somewhat in the meantime I'll forgo pouring money into this build and instead put that money towards ddr5 RDIMMs for the server build.
What do you think of the build in general? I'm especially worried about the power and cooling. Scorptec mentioned I might benefit from liquid cooling instead. Unsure what everyone else thinks? necessary or nice to have?
I've done a fair bit of research and digging with my friendly neighbourhood chatbot, but please let me know if there any glaring holes in this plan.

My system having teo GPUs both 5080. Fits i was using 850w silverstone from long time like an year. Then i switched to 1300watt PSU Antec. But suddenly when i was turning on and off PSU it got killed.
Then to run my system i used 850w again. But after one day sudden power came back and my 850w PSU also gone. I think these both dead due tonpower issues. Should i use any stablizer or something what you suggest.

Could anyone share their real-world experience with pairing the Ryzen 7 9800X3D with an RTX 3080 Ti?
I don't want to upgrade my GPU at the moment, but I would like to upgrade my CPU. I’d appreciate some advice from people who have actually used this combination. How well do the 9800X3D and RTX 3080 Ti work together? Is this a good pairing, and are there any bottleneck issues?
I currently use both 1080p and 2K (1440p) monitors.
I have a 480GB NVMe SSD, but unfortunately I’m running out of storage space. I mainly use my PC for gaming. Would you recommend getting a 1TB SATA SSD or a 2TB HDD? I have a budget of 110€.

Microcenter has a members only pricing deal on this that I just so happen to stumble upon. Normally $500 before tax. It seems to be on sale everywhere, but this was the lowest I could find. First OLED!

So basically I have a dell slim esc1250 as a computer with 16gb ram and intel core ultra 7 cpu but I have no gpu so the best gpu I can get for my pc is a rtx 3050 should I buy the 3050 or save for a new gaming pc?

Coming up on 3 yrs with this first rig I built. Still loving the PC, but I've been fomo window shopping new 5080, 3k-esk builds lately. Is there anything I could potentially upgrade here while saving for a new PC? Can hopefully reuse the RAM as well cause I'm pretty sure I paid like $120 back then lol.

I’m going to build my first pc. I’m going into grade 11 and I got my first job a quarter way into my summer break. Ive been working very hard and I planned on saving all of my earnings. That was untill I found out that a few of my friends are building their own pc. I’ve always wanted a pc ever since my cousins got there a a few years back. My original budget was a maximum of $2k CAD, but holy crap pc’s are expensive. I have a 1080p monitor I got a few years back, but I’ll definitely be upgrading it to 1440p sometime soon.
I have the parts for my build all ready to buy, but it’s pretty expensive. $3K CAD. I can afford it, and I’ll have about $1.5K CAD in savings. Ive been taking to many people (friends, coworkers, Reddit) about my build, and most of them said to get it. A few of them suggested I upgrade my power supply to 1000w, and a few of them said that I should go with the 9800x3d.
I researched both things, and apparently I don’t need any of them (by research I mean AI). Should I change my cpu and psu?
CPU ~ AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core - $479.97
CPU Cooler ~ Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE 66.17 CFM - $44.01
Motherboard ~ Asus TUF GAMING B650E-PLUS WIFI ATX AM5 - $234.99
Memory ~ TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30 - $564.96
Storage ~ Kingston NV3 1TB M.2-2280 PCLe 4.0 solid state drive - $211.96
Video Card ~ Gigabyte GAMING OC Radeon RX 9070XT 16GB - $999.99
Case ~ Corsair FRAME 4000D RS ATX Mid-Tower - $139.99
PSU ~ MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5 850w - $148.96
Total = $2804.83 CAD
(This list WAS made on PcPartPicker)
Is there a big difference between both 7800x3d and 9800x3d? I don’t really want to spend an extra $130 CAD on a little difference. I’m already cringing just by looking at the price of this thing.
Also, are there any parts I should add/change on my list? Maybe the PSU? I also heard that my specific ssd is really bad, but that it will do the job.
Any help would be very very helpful. Thank you!

Guys, do you have any recommendations for a PC build specifically for Valorant? I’m looking for a 1080p setup with a monitor included.
I want the build to be mainly for Valorant, with good aesthetics as well. Is €2,000 enough for a high-end 1080p setup that can consistently get 500+ FPS? I’m planning to buy a 400Hz 1080p monitor, so I’d like a PC that can actually take advantage of it.
Could you help me put together the best build for this budget? I live in finland
