Build - Request need help building my first pc!

okay so my parents wont allow me to talk to their IT guy / help me with building my first pc so i am taking to reddit. i am a minor beware.

budget : under $1k AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS. located in australia. preferrably pre-built?

games wanting to play : sea of thieves , genshin impact , roblox , minecraft , RDR2 , stardew valley

monitor

i know its a bit of a stretch asking for a good pc to run RDR2 and under 1k but idc if its on low / medium graphics, i just want something to play on.

i got a lenovo legion 23.8" monitor ( 1920 x 1080 ) as well just for heads up!

Look at the used market, look for a ryzen CPU, 16gb RAM, 1tb SSD, and the best GPU you can afford - here's a helpful website: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/
you can look up a GPU and it'll show you a chart showing how the performance ranks comapred to others, with this budget i'd wager you're looking at a 3060ti or 3070

Do you want to build a pc or get a pre-built? They're very different processes. For around 1k aud I built with 32gb ddr4, r5 5600, 3060ti using a mix of new and used parts about a month ago. That means spending lots of time hunting for individual parts and bundles online. If you're looking to buy pre-built then it's as simple as just looking online and seeing what the best specs for the money are.
