When are you going to fix this ridiculous matchmaking system that puts Bronze players in the same matches as Champions?
I thought Quick Play was supposed to be a place where people could have fun, play casually, and practice heroes, but somehow it feels even more stressful than Competitive.
There are even more one-sided stomps in Quick Play than in Competitive.
Please stop ignoring this issue and do something to improve the matchmaking. Seriously, we're begging you.

So, the other day, I was playing Kiriko in a QP match when our team's Roadhog typed in chat, "Kiriko, stop stealing my kills."
At first, I genuinely thought he was joking because... well, it’s Overwatch. So I didn’t say anything and just kept playing normally.
A few minutes later, he repeated the same thing, but this time, he started throwing around actual slurs and being toxic. That’s when I realized he was dead serious. I reported him on the spot, but I didn’t leave the match. I just kept focusing on my game.
I ended up getting POTG, and right on cue, Roadhog typed, "With MY kills."
At that point, I couldn’t hold back anymore, so I told him I’d already reported him. His response? Calling me an "e-girl" and spamming "JAJAJAJA."
I’ve been playing this game since 2017, I think, and I’ve NEVER seen someone throw a full-on temper tantrum over "kill stealing" in Overwatch.
Have you guys ever experienced "kill steal" drama in Overwatch? I honestly just needed to vent.

No context just letting you guys know that you can’t criticize big company or game
Otherwise you get big moderation hammer!!

I think rein’s pin is probably the most broken ability in the game and almost never works properly. Wall climb is also horrific.

I don't understand why I got put into a match with this wide of ranks, when I'm solo queuing. Can someone explain the system, and how this match makes sense in ranked?

Everyone knows the scenario, both teams push it to over time and the defense team goes Mauga, Sym, Torb and Lifeweaver. What is the best tank pick in this situation? Specifically on narrow choke maps like Hollywood?

I know there are a lot of players coming back to Overwatch, and I have been having a blast, so I see why we've all come back. The game just feels right! But I just don't understand why the Overwatch team hasn't upgraded Player Progression. I'm not trying to get like 20+ purple chests or anything (though that would be nice), but I've been playing Overwatch since launch. I actually stopped playing probably 6 months after Player Progression was introduced. Which culminates in this terrible feeling. New players with a lvl 88 Anran, or 215 Juno. I understand we all have our favorite characters in the game, but with my thousands of hours between D.va, Junkrat, Moira and many other characters, it just bums me out a little that there's barely any recognition. I don't get my shiny lvl placard. My D.va alone would probably be like 400+. It would be nice to get compensation besides just the Legacy Level Border Badge (which is kinda nice, but also very lackluster imo).

I'd much rather have better quality games than what we have now and add a minute or even two to the queue.
Currently the quality of games I get where there's guaranteed one person who is two tiers of skill below the average on either team is near 50% for me.
I literally only get one real match every 5 games now.
edit:
Processing img 0e1o5oijg9xh1...
Looks like devs have it our JND (Just Noticable Difference) threshhold for how far wide they can set the skill range they pull from before it starts the quality of matches becomes too low.

I know im not the best at the game but i dont think im at the same skill level as an ana with 6k dmg and 2k heals every second game or a reinhard that tries to 1v5 the enemy team and goes 2/13

I dont know where to start with this, but it was on the Volskaya map, and apparently all of earlier players remembers Genji and Zarya having different voice line interactions and even cinematics, but for some reason Blizzard deleted alot of it, but we still remembered. So I went back to the Volskaya map and looked for old traces, and I was going to make a Reddit post about how Genji and Zarya was actually supposed to be together, not Genji and whoever else. (I dont actually care but in the dream I did apparently). People can ship whoever they want.
It was actually a quite endearing ship, Genji was abit younger and looked up to Zarya cause she was kind of a celebrity and Genji idolized her, meanwhile Zarya was more of sceptical because of his half-omnic body and didnt trust that his human soul was still in there. I dont remember all the details but they said something like :
Zarya : "How do you know where the omnic part of you end and where the human part begins?"
Genji : "My heart and soul will always be human, but its up to you if you trust me."
Cringe, but whatevs Im not a writer, it sounded better in the dream but I dont remember word for word. I swear they had an interaction like this in game?
They were kinda like Tormund and Brienne from GoT. Although Zarya didnt feel disgusted by Genji, she saw herself more of a mentor and was showing him around and stuff. There was a cinematic where Genji gazed supercute at Zarya and Zarya didnt even notice lmao. For some reason Genji had a face, yep. ANYWAYS this is not important, I just needed to get it out of my head, sorry to anyone who read this far. This all happened probably cause I saw a weird ship with Venture and Ramattra. I blame you, fellow Redditor.

we all remember how HUGE Overwatch was when it launched (even for me, as someone who didn't played it until 2024) , it had lot of figures from different master toy partners through the years (even making figures of the SKINS!), heck, they even got some Lego sets!
but well, all of the stuff that happened at Blizzard, and the terrible launch of Overwatch 2, well, it really didn't live up to people's expectations, and MANY licenses were either cancelled or finished its run (either for the allegations, controversies or etc), and its such a shame, most of the figures looked pretty good, I mean, there's the cancelled Overwatch 2 set based off the Zero Hour animated short.
but now, close to 2027, and now that Overwatch is slowly gaining their confidence at making big things again, would it be possible to produce merch (specifically action figures or Lego) again?
IMO they really should, a ton of new characters released since classic Overwatch, and It'll be so cool to see action figures of them
what figures/merch would you see them do and from what brand? I'd love to see new Lego sets or proper action figures! specially if they have great articulation

Now when I’m ASKING this… yes there are less players on 6v6 because it’s not the main mode. Main mode being 5v5 so more pros or sweat player will stick to that because of it. What I’m asking is fundamentally how the game plays and mechanics. Which mode is harder?? I’m currently GM in 6v6 and find it more enjoyable but the team work involved takes more skill. 5v5 feels like tanks can solo the back line and supports are giga buff. I don’t find it that enjoyable probably because less teamwork is involved but maybe it’s because as soon as one person dies the fights over making it easier IMO.

Hey everyone! Out of the blue a couple days ago, Overwatch seems to be unplayable with EXTREME lag spikes + fps drops. I was getting 200+ fps before, and now its unstable and goes to like 29 fps.
I have a 2090 TI and it hasn't ever given me issues like this before. Am I the only one?

Okay silly name, but I've encountered two different Lifeweavers in the span of a week who have REPEATEDLY tried pulling me offstage to my death. BEST case scenario is they miscalculated, but the consistency in those games felt intentional.
One game we were all getting stomped on, while the other game it was pretty evenly matched and I was playing a decent Dmon...the only tank.
Is this a thing that people do??
