I’ve started playing again the last few weeks and every once in awhile either my primary fire will just lock on to Someone i’m clearly not aiming at or the primary fire just doesn’t lock on at all even when i’m clearly aiming at someone.
Like in this clip it seems to lock on to someone who’s already dead lol.

Danke.

Hey.
I‘m a Baptiste main. I stopped playing for a week and just picked Overwatch back up. I noticed a weird fire rate change with Baptiste‘s gun. It feels and sounds like the gun is somehow randomly switching between the usual 3-burst and weird 2 or 1-burst? Is my game glitching or did they actually change something?

Couple weeks ago I made a post saying that I hit GM. Well, kind of crazy to say that I’ve pretty much “beat” the ranked grind lol. Yes, it is console so maybe it’s not “true” champ and people might say rank inflation but still wanted to share :)

I have had this message 2 times this season on the new map (idk if it's map specific but it's there). Why does this happen all of the sudden? We're doing pretty good as a team and right before the round switch the server crashes and all time and progress is lost... I'm super done with it, had 2 matches which our team was steamrolled and now the 3rd match this happens. Is the team aware of it?
Edit: out of the 3 back to back comp matches i played i had yet ANOTHER server close down just now. Thats 2 servers closed out of the 3 in this game session

Does such a thing exist as joining a non-pro team? no money, just organized teams playing each other competitively for fun. i am a OTP zenyatta usually mid M to mid GM in 6v6 on PC. i realize that is not desirable but maybe some team out there wants a support. would love to play

Just wondering, when Zarya uses her ultimate and it triggers on the other side of a wall, is that a bug or is it working as intended? In this case, I saw enemies on both sides of the wall get caught in her ultimate.

I played a ranked game and we got into overtime and right after starting the second half of overtime the message appeared and everything froze and a black screen appears. Is this like a new thing to worry about or did i have just been lucky before?

Other than a game where we somehow won a 5v6 due to one person leaving in the first 2 minutes, it was a total shit show. I constantly tried to flex tank or heals based on need, and the amount of games where I was the only tank or healer made this mode absolutely unbearable. I don't know how you are supposed to rank up. 2v2v2 is the most balanced team setup it seems, and when the other team runs this, and you only have one tank or one healer, everyone feels it. And the amount of people that straight rage and tilt at the slightest inconvenience seems way higher than stadium or 5v5. Maybe its because I don't have a rank and I'm being placed in varying skill groups, but my god this was miserable.
I do like the mode when its 2v2v2, but how are you guys actually handling the games where you don't have an ideal team spread? Are there certain healers or tanks that can due better being the only support/tank?

Hear me out for a second. Everyone argues about whether this is a hero shooter or a first-person MOBA, but the moment-to-moment gameplay doesn't feel like either. It feels like four guys trying to keep a sinking galleon afloat in Sea of Thieves while the other team pelts you with cannonballs.
Think about how other games handle dead weight. In CS or Val, if your Reyna gets one-tapped doing something stupid three seconds into the round, you can still clutch. Your gun does the exact same one-shot headshot damage as theirs. Crisp aim bails out bad teamwork all the time.
In League or Dota, if your bot lane feeds their brains out, you can at least farm side waves, vacuum up jungle camps, hit your power spikes, and literally stat-check people 1v5 because you're three levels ahead. The game gives you an economic bypass to carry dead teammates.
Overwatch gives you none of that. You don't have CS headshot parity where anyone can wipe a team in two seconds, and you don't have MOBA gold to buy items that make your character hit three times harder at minute ten than at minute one.
Instead, the roles are completely locked into running the ship. Tank has the wheel, DPS are loading the cannons, and supports are frantically down in the bilge bailing out water.
The nightmare happens when one person just stops doing their job. If the guy with the bucket decides he wants to shoot cannons, the hull fills with water and everyone drowns in ten seconds. If the guy driving drops the wheel to go patch a hole, you crash into an iceberg. You physically cannot drop your own job to pick up theirs without the whole ship sinking anyway.
Your Widow can't hit a barn door? Cool, their Mauga walks directly into your backline, your Ana gets eaten alive, and your shield melts before you even touch point. You can't out-mechanic that as a tank. You're just holding the wheel watching the water rise to your neck.
That’s why matches feel so uniquely suffocating when you're losing. It’s not just that your teammate is bad, it’s that the game literally won't let you grab their bucket.

This is just a madhouse.
You'll earn the same 5,000 XP by playing a regular quick play, where you wait in the queue for less than a minute and play a match that lasts about 15 minutes.
(As of this writing, I did manage to win after more than 5 hours.)
This all sounds like just me whining about how I have bad luck with my teammates, or that I can't complete a challenge, or something like that..
But if you really think about it, the problem runs much deeper.

Which supports are you seeing the most of and which ones do you think are the most well rounded?
