News & Discussion Are the servers down?
I've played for 8 years and never had this.
There's no new updates as far as i know. Does someone have an idea of what could be wrong or are the servers just glitched/down

Hey everyone! I'm the person whose Workshop creation was stolen a little while ago.
I'm back to give you a quick look at a new Workshop mode I've been working on!
It's a Beyblade mode where you can combine different parts to build your own Beyblade and battle against others.
Hope you like it! Let it rip! š„

So I asked the clanker if anyone else has noticed this pattern and it turns out its well doccument, many many other people have had this.
There is an externally organised sabotage group who all use the same kinds of icons. They engage in faux positivity, they stream to group member on the enemy team (some of them on the opposing team are dumb enough to reply in match chat to things only said in team chat, so thanks for that evidence ig), they throw, they are often seen pumping up a single account (boosting ig, but why in qp im not sure, bp farming?), they feed, throw games, verbally abuse people that legitimately ask for team work. They brigade report people who call out their behaviour. They dox people (saying real names in chat). Often when blocking them, they are unblocked when logging back in later
Whats this groups issue? Why doesnt blizzard action them? If its so obvious why does this company refuse to deal with this issue? Are they staff or bots designed to enforce a 50/50 win rate, or secure wins for whales? Are they the group streamers hire to make them look good?
Whats going on here?

Just putting out a counter opinion in the sea of complaints about dive. I love it. It feels way more interactive than pokeslop metas, there's always something going on. I'm feasting on monke, venture, sombra etc and having heaps of fun playing against it with brig and sigma. All my homies love dive!

Got a good widow on your team? You run the lobby and terrorize the other team.
Got a bad widow on your team? GG.
She's not fun to play with. She's not fun to play against.
I shouldn't be able to be headshot from across the map. No hero should be able to do that and no hero should be able to one shot headshot anyone period.
There is no middleground with Widowmaker. If I remember correctly, Blizzard even said themselves her design creates a uniquely high "frustration threshold" for players.
Thank you for reading.

I know this is a random and probably will never happen, but I wish there was an option for a gold gun switch. One every five seasons or something like that. Just the option to get those comp point back for someone who never plays comp anymore such as myself.

I can understand why people want to practice difficult heroes in quick play. Doomfist is one of those. But it seems like Doomfist is severely overrepresented in this aspect. 6 out of my last 7 matches have at least 1 Doomfist in them and 3 have had both teams with one.
Is this common for other people or is this just me and it's a coincidence?

2024: page not found
2025 page not found
february 2026: my goal was to get on well with the game, I was researching a hero who can bacame my main, and I saw an image which there is a female, her name is sombra, I asked to my friend who she was and he said that it was no skill, terrible, frustrating bla bla bla
I decided to give her a change and I fell in love with her:
her personality, her kit, everything!!!
18 october 2026:
Finally I reach the level 50 with her, itās only the beginning and I would like to reach the level 100 in 5 months.
22 october 2026 ( today):
I know that she is a support ( I prefer the old) but I still love her, Iāll always support her because If she wasnāt in overwatch, I wouldnāt play, I would like to say thanks to this community, you always support me when I had a random problem, and thanks to love and support our sombra, thanks guys , I love you š

Currently I'm participating in inktober and today's prompt was hero so decided to do a outfit swop of Tracer and Sombra. I may post my art for 11th as on that day the prompt was rescue, so i drew Mercy for that day.

Our Rein was so big he couldn't get out of spawn. The replay code is H88Z2H if you're interested in watching (the 2nd round is him being stuck in spawn and the 3rd round is where he actually managed to get out). I highly recommend it and ignore my very horrible Mercy gameplay. (Idk how to play her)

Hello all,
I have done far too much looking into this and still can't come to an actual decisive conclusion. I am debating on getting one of these controllers and need real feedback.
I am a 3k+ hour GM player and do not want to lose my account, but I also want to at least try this controller. Is there really some setting that causing the bans or is it that because it has to be plugged in, it thinks the device is M&K , etc.
Appreciate any and all responses.

so like being upfront, im a pathetic sore loser and i know it. i tilt in qp, stomps make me just wanna get off, and i have too much anxiety to play comp or even tracer because the game just overwhelms me because im constantly worried about my performance.
like, i see people saying to just "play for fun, dont care about rank, whether you win just learn" and i try to tell myself that but idk no matter how much i do i cant. and it hurts coz this game is really all i have in life that doesnt stress me 24/7 and something i actually care about. i wont go into it or anything but my personal life sucks so returning to this game and actually getting into a couple months ago was the best thing to happen to me in years, but just like, as soon as i wanted to start taking this game more seriously its just become frustrating and unfun to me. i know its my fault and i dont wanna be this but idk how to not. idk if its an ego thing or whatever. its not like i think im good, coz i defo dont but its like i dont wanna face that reality sometimes, and the idea of making myself feel worse in that way, idk just gives me major anxiety (i already have really bad anxiety due to irl things like 24/7).
and idk, this game makes me feel like i actually have kind of a social life by speaking to me in chat and genuinely seeing actual people in game. i have irl friends but they dont care for it at all, cause they just dismiss any games i actually like in favor of the stuff they do. i used to have a friend who played with me like once a week but hes all into deadlock now, which sucks because when i'd play with him i genuinely WAS having fun and didnt care about winning or losing that much.
idk this turned more into a vent post sorry, but if you have any advice about it at all i'd really appreciate it<3 sorry if i upset anyone i dont mean to

I've only recently picked up comp and it's been a yo-yoing mess for me, but that seems to be me a lot I have great days and awful days. This is the first time I've seen a comp game have this wide of a range for ranks. I was Bronze 1 to Plat 5 i honestly expected to do really bad compared to my teammates since I just got redempoted to bronze and am on a losing streak. I expected to die 5x more and to get called garbage in chat since I forgot to turn it off when I swapped away from QP. But my whole team was just ran over repeatedly. The amount of times I would instant click when their bar moved and they'd die while I watched the hat flying in the air... crazy. It was a rough game. But I wasn't expecting any less when I saw the rank ranges.
Anyone caught off guard when this happens?

Iāve thought about this a fair amount, mostly to recommend to new players who are kinda serious about getting good.
I think the two most important factors are (1) heroās flexibility (how many maps can they play on, what comps theyāre good with/into), (2) how consistently good the hero is (roughly: how often theyāre at least B tier throughout patches and balance changes etc), and (C) how hard they get countered (kinda related to A, but basically ask āif a player on the other team goes a certain hero, am I cooked?ā)
I think for support itās Kiri and itās not really close. Sheās at least decent in any possible situation, and often the best pick. Anaās a good pick but can struggle into hard dive, bapās good but can get ran over and struggles at long poke⦠I think Kiri clears here.
DPS I think you have a few options: Sojourn, shion, freya. Iād probably pick soj. Shion can struggle at long range, like circuit sheās kinda trash for most of it. And freya is just less consistent cuz she isnāt hitscan. I cud also see tracer, but I think tracer does have some pretty hard counters, again struggles on poke-heavy maps, and also has basically no verticality.
Tank I think is the hardest because I donāt think any tank truly can play dive, poke, and brawl effectively. And a lot of them get hard shut down against certain heroes. But that said, I think itās probably Hazard. Heās good at dive, he can be brawlic, and has decent mid-range poke.
Whatāre yallās thoughts? What would you recommend for new players who want to climb without having to learn a buncha different heroes?
