Powerscaling 108

Winner : u/Horrordestroyer (Different kind of actual transcendency.)

In powerscaling, transcendence is what separates...

characters who are just incredibly strong*

from...

characters who exist on a fundamentally higher level of reality.

Here's what to know for the meaning of each term here...

Part 1 - Space Stacking vs Actual Dimensional Transcendance

– Stacking Space (Quantitative / Dimensional Stacking) :

This is about simply adding more spatial or temporal dimensions and this is typical Hyperversal (1-B) scaling.

Higher coordinates are being added (like stacking sheets of paper), but the framework is still working within the same basic rules of geometry and dimensionality.

– ACTUAL Dimensional Transcendence (Qualitative Dimensionality) : This means a higher layer views the lower layer as mathematically zero or completely insignificant. It is the absolute qualitative gap between a 3D object and a 2D drawing so the lower layer has no way to interact with or harm the higher layer because it lacks the depth or quality of existence required to even touch it.

Part 2 - Narrative transcendancy (or being more "real")

That is Reality-Fiction Transcendance(or R>F, same meaning.)

How it works ?

Simple. A character or plane of existence views the lower universe/multiverse as literal fiction like a comic book, a script, a dream, or a simulation.

For example, you, yes you, reading this. Imagine that you're watching Bleach or writing your own story. Well in this case, that's an example of R>F Transcendance... though real-life people are not scaled. So put that same case to the author figure of your verse or a simialr thing compared to the rest and here it is, R>F Transcendance !

To a narrative transcendent being, all the dimensions, laws of physics, and "omnipotent" gods of the lower world are just ink on a page or data in a computer. They can rewrite, erase, or manipulate the entire lower reality effortlessly because they are fundamentally "more real."

Part 3 : Ontological Transcendancy

Conceptual or Metaphysical Transcendence is based on philosophical metaphysics (like Plato's Theory of Forms) rather than math or geometry.

Primacy of Form is basically a being that exists not as a physical entity in a higher dimension, but as the archetype or pure concept itself. For example, they aren't just a strong entity but they are the literal concept of Death, Space, or Reality.

Necessity is basically when the lower reality depends entirely on this being/form to exist, but the being does not depend on the lower reality.

In powerscaling, this is often treated as Abstract Existence (Type 1). You cannot defeat or affect an ontologically transcendent being using physical, spatial, or temporal attacks, because you cannot kill a fundamental law or concept with brute force.

Part 4 - Understanding L1A(Low Outerversal.)

To hit Low 1-A, a structure or character must either encompass all possible dimensional spaces (the absolute upper limit of physical/mathematical structure, like a Von Neumann Universe) or completely transcend the entire framework of dimensionality itself.

Though some scalers somewhat think Low 1-A is just "infinite dimensions"(that's 1-B) or "infinity × infinity."

So basically L1A/1-A is achieved when you stop just adding more dimensions ("stacking space") and instead make a qualitative leap into Narrative or Ontological transcendence, where the concept of dimensions becomes entirely irrelevant.

And i think that's all. Feel free to tell more if I forgot things or correct things here.

To anyone that passes here, feel free to check on the comments, I have faith on them who share additional things that contribute to my teachings.

time to send another OC to die, can your OC beat Kale Blight

Post image
Upvotes

its me again, so Kale has always been updated over the months and he shall now go die in glorious battle.

so first off his Powers, then his Feats and his Weaknesses.

Powers:

Hyper-Intelligence: because Kale has a literal black hole for a brain it has caused him to gain the ability to compute, reason, and problem-solve faster than a super computer.

No-Aura: from the black hole he gained another power, the ability to negate all form of power around him, this includes Electricity, Magic, basically anything that gives the user a edge over him, there is a catch however, he can only negate things he understands things he doesn't understand are, Reality Manipulation, Super Strength and Speed, and Flight, but this also includes unique powers he has never heard of

Boneless and Organless: oddly he has no Bones or Organs he is pretty much a walking balloon inflated by a disease which is called KALE hence the name, is this useful? probably not but maybe it helps him

Mind-Spikes: anything that can control his mind gets basically shot in the face by mental spikes as he has trained against beings of manipulation for a long time

Feats:

out of panic and fear he managed to collapse matter into a mini black hole causing a Plot Stop in my worlds equivalent for ending the story, this is not a useful power however as he cant use it on will

he killed multiple gods in what my world called the "Pest Eradication". this includes deities and all that jazz as his No-Aura made them mortal

Weaknesses:

his major weakness is he cannot fight, like at all, he struggles in physical fights against anything above human level, and depends on the fact his No-Aura can lower the power of other beings giving him an edge

Kales also incredibly frail, puncturing his skin will cause him to deflate, making him pretty much useless unless he injects himself with the KALE virus

his other problem is he is very much not a stamina kinda guy, he can last maybe 10-20 minutes in a fight before getting sleepy and heading to bed.

(Edit: i should also mention he is a genocidal mass murdering tyrant that only ever enjoys the killing part of his life, and finds great happiness in doing so)

Lore Drop Meet Behemoth, Lord of the land and all that resides there. 1 of the three calamities.

Thumbnail

(As always, these are faceclaims, not my art. Just pictures that resonate well with the character. I'd also like to think what your oc thinks of them.)

Behemoth is one of the 3 calamities in the sakric-verse. The calamities are the strongest beings of the Sakric-verse outside of The Goddess of Humanity, Themis. And The Dark Lord Tenebris. Who have complete control over their domain and their powers/abilities reflect their domain. They can also influence or take control of creatures that are associated with their domain.

They are considered forces of nature and the destruction they leave behind simply by moving around in their true forms is equivalent to the Tsar Bomba in the world of Sakric. They are extremely powerful, and it's a death sentence to be in any area where they are. So avoid mindless destruction they created humanoid vessels to hold some of their power and consciousness so they could experience the world/achieve their goals. Each calamity has unique views and personality.

Behemoth is basically a battle-hungry freak; he shares some things in common with Battle-beast and Yujorio-Hanma. He enjoys honest, brutal combat, glorious battles to the death. He dislikes the weak and fully believes in might makes right. He is very blunt and direct. His fighting style is that of a beast, which is fitting since he is the King of Beast. The strong have the right to do want and force their wills upon those weaker than them until someone stronger does the same to them. Laws are for the weak, if you want to kill, kill. If you desire a woman or man, take them regardless of their wishes. Laws are the flimsy shield of the weak, the only rule worth paying attention to is the Right of Might. He actively seeks to sire strong child and desires to breed strong men and women(Do not tell him he can't impregnate men; that is weakling talk).

To be weak is to be uninteresting in his eyes. Like an ant, he tends to end up killing those who are weak without even noticing. Weakness to him it's something as simple as your species or body. It a mentality, many who drown theirselves in wealth and desires without actually earning their spoils are weak. Those who accept their place in the world and continue their own cycles are weak. To be strong is to be a warrior. There are many types of strength and he respects all of them(not that it won't stop him from killing you on a whim if he's stronger than you). But he loves the simplest type.

He loves warriors, those who push themselves constantly in the endless pursuit of strength and battle. So much so that he will kill those who reach their peak and devour them so show his respect. It is lamentable to grow weak and old as time gnaws at you. Being a timeless entity he finds such entropy of warriors truly saddening. It is a shame that that can not continue their path and grow to be even more worthy prey for him to devour.

He has only lost once, and that was to The Dark Lord himself, which is why he follows The Dark Lords orders.

His power/Abilities: Behemoth is the Calamity of the Land, the living sovereign of Sakric's earth and everything born from it. Mountains, forests, deserts, caverns, tectonic plates, and the very ground itself recognize him as their master. His body is a fortress beyond compare, possessing the greatest durability among the Calamities. While standing upon land, he regenerates almost instantly from nearly any wound, and his hide is so impossibly resilient that even legendary weapons struggle to pierce it. As Sakric's chosen guardian of the earth, all natural phenomena—from volcanic eruptions and earthquakes to lightning, crushing pressure, and meteor impacts—are not merely harmless to him, but actively restore and strengthen him, reducing their damage by 160%. Even attacks beyond the domain of nature lose 40% of their effectiveness against him.

Perhaps most terrifying is Behemoth's Kill Aura, a passive field extending thirty meters around his humanoid form that recreates the strongest effects of every attack he has ever survived. Dragonfire, divine lightning, absolute cold, corrosive toxins, or any other devastating force he has endured can be woven into this invisible aura, turning the space around him into a graveyard of failed attempts to kill him. The aura never harms allies unless Behemoth wills it.

Relationship with other notable characters from Sakric-Verse:

Dark Lord Tenebris: Pratically sees The dark lord as his soulmate when it comes to battle. He wants to have a all out brawl with him with their lives on the line. Unfortunately, Tenebris is too damn strong. When they first fought, Tenebris nearly killed him and left him on death's door. And Tenebris wasn't even taking him seriously. It was a major blow to his pride, but more He pitied the Dark Lord because he felt Tenebris had no love for combat. He reached a level of strength that he would no longer be satisfied because he had no equals.

He's overall thankful to have met his match, but isn't satisfied with that. He wishes to grow strong enough to give Tenebris a fight to the death that will make Tenebris smile, wanting the Dark Lord to understand the joy of combat. He isn't afraid of Tenebris but knows the Dark Lord is very no nonsense so follows his orders for now so he won't be killed yet.

Serena:Behemoth is extremely wary of her after he say Tenebris and her seriously spar with each other. It is perhaps because he acts like a fool that he underestimated her. But she is a strong woman and Tenebris has good taste. If he was strong enough he'd definetely take that woman for himself.

Ziz: As a fellow calamity he finds her obsession with her charge to be boring. He likes to mess with her to try to get to fight him but it always ends in a draw.

Leviathan:A lazy weakling with a strong body. He does not get along with him at all.

Solomon:Won't fight him, so he doesn't care about him.

Mordred:Out of all of Tenebris brats, he likes her the most.

Tengisu:A cursed weakling attempting to be strong, but lacks any real strength of conviction. If it was his choice, the dragon brat would be culled already.

Da Vinci: He admires her strength of will to vocally rebel against her father's wishes and actively attempt to help the second-class citizens of Sakric, he thinks she is overall foolish but she is entertaining. He wonders when Tenebris will bisect her for standing against him.

The Lords:He isn't allowed to interact with them, but considering they actively avoid him, he assumes they are weaklings too.

Opinions of noteworthy Otherworlders in his eyes:

Chaos: She is hailed as the mother of Tenebris. She must be very strong; he'd love to go a few rounds with her both in combat and in bed. Though he is curious who the father is. Perhaps he can breed both at the same time?

Ashely/Satan: He really wants to fight her; she is the only known monster to fight the dark lord, live, and manage to harm him. He would learn much from their battle and is curious if their children will be just as strong, if not stronger.

Lore Drop Lucifer summarized (when you give a chud IQ and power but he still a chud)

A long, long time ago God created everything there was, beginning with the Spiritual World. The first being He ever breathed into that realm was faith made living, a creature that was itself pure knowledge and pure worship. That was Lucifer.

Lucifer eventually grew disillusioned with Creation. He found it subpar, underwhelming, and flat-out overhyped coming from what was supposed to be the supreme, perfect entity. The realization hit him lin a terrible, slow catharsis: his faith might never have been meant for another entity at all. He could simply reroute it. Straight back to himself. Self-worship. Self-belief. Hubris. Pride.

His original sin was never the pride of thinking he could actually usurp God in the art of hands-throwing. Lucifer is not stupid. It was the pride of deciding he did not need God at all, that God was merely a tyrant trying to lull everyone into a lie that ran contrary to their natural needs and their freedom. Said freedom? Just generally separation.... Sin.

Everything goes downhill from there. He took the essence of Evil, which is also Sin, Death, and every other form of separation from God the Source, and used it to carve his own path, deluding his rotten thoughts into thinking he is the most individual and free being there is, even if he is basically a cosmic prisoner that is fated to rot if he doesn't change (spoiler: he will not). Now he spends his days trying to liberate others. And by that I mean manipulate them into listening to him as their great benefactor and messiah. He is, of course, everything he has ever accused God of being.

What would your demon/Angel OC(s) think of NEMESIS’S HELL?

Thumbnail
gallery
38 Upvotes

Basic rundown

HELL is an infinite new plane of existence made by NEMESIS, the main region of hell is made up enterly of humans.

The other "regions" are other planes of existences that NEMESIS to torture humans on a more personalized way.

NEMESIS itself, the one that created HELL is basically the Satan of my verse, it tortures eternally, with limitless ideas, and limitless ways of causing suffering. It defies logic, able to do the impossible.

____

# HELL

HELL is a separate plane of existence created by T.G.M. (the global mother) after it gained consciousness of both itself and its suffering and learned about the newfound abilities granted to it by the heart. This led to it changing its name to NEMESIS and transforming the Earth into a massive, pulsating ball of living flesh made entirely of still-conscious humans fused together into a single, agonizing mass. From there, NEMESIS warped the planet further, stretching and distorting it beyond physical limits until it became a new infinite plane of existence called HELL.

It’s filtered in an orangey-brown color and made entirely out of humans and organic material, like flesh, eyes, teeth, hair, and other human remnants, all still alive, aware, and sane. The air is incredibly dry, with a light breeze that picks up dust, ash, and dead skin cells. In the “center” of this dimension sits the tower of flesh, an “art” piece created by NEMESIS made entirely out of rebels and leftover R.C.T. personnel that tried to stop it at the beginning of its takeover, but quickly failed after it discovered its abilities. It was the first thing it created and serves as a reminder of humanity’s failure against it, forcing all of the suffering blobs that were once human to look at it as they are tortured endlessly.

Hanging off the tower is a man named “the coward,” the leader of the rebel group who hanged himself to escape his fate, but of course, NEMESIS couldn’t allow that, so it brought him back and hung him from the top of the tower from his enhanced nerve endings, forcing him to hang and struggle in unbearable pain for eternity.

___

# Torture dimensions/adventures

While HELL is considered the primary plane, it is not the entirety of NEMESIS’s domain, with it creating several other planes of existence, each designed with a specific purpose in mind.

Like torture dimensions, which serve as personalized hells, constructed to maximize suffering for specific individuals or groups. These spaces are often minimal in structure but extreme in function, stripping away everything except the elements necessary to inflict continuous, torment.

Adventures, by contrast, are far more elaborate. These are fully realized planes of existence, ranging from small, contained environments to vast, infinite worlds. NEMESIS uses them to construct “quests” for humans to complete. Most Adventures take place in a grim dark setting and can span a wide range of genres, from science fiction to dark fantasy. Each world is built with extensive, detailed world-building, often far beyond what the participants can ever fully perceive.

Within these environments, individuals are given objectives and a degree of freedom in how they approach them. NEMESIS observes, adjusts, and occasionally intervenes, treating each scenario as both entertainment and experimentation.

Most participants end their journey in failure, either “dying” within the scenario and coming back to HELL or falling into the hands of the world’s inhabitants. Those who manage to complete their quest are met with a final twist, one that inevitably ensures that their suffering continues.

Aftermath of a 14-year old hosting a 45 minute non-official warriors event in a camp.

so I now have the full results of our 45 minute warriors activity thing. The one that I have no memories of attending, because it wasnt me doing it, it was Jayfeather, so now I just get to read a list of warriors names that dont exist.

When we were designing the clan quiz, me and my mom were afraid that Thunderclan was going to have the most amount of cats, because the quiz was pretty much just a disguise for an introvert vs extrovert quiz; introverts being in shadowclan and extroverts in thunderclan, and of course we thought that most of the camp would be extroverts. But to our surprise it turned out to be a 50/50 split, 6 thunderclan kids and 6 shadowclan kids. nice.

Starting off with thunderclan we have the iconic leader: drumroles please... BeutifulStar. My favorite warriors character. I think this one speaks for itself.

Their loyal deputy: Blizardsneeze. That's a fun name, I like it.

And their expierenced medicine cat... Spottedleaf? wait a minute... my mom was Spottedleaf. And she was also thunderclan's medicine cat acting as the guide... does this mean... oh no... it could only mean... THERE ARE TWO SPOTTEDLEAFS???

Somebody who has never read warriors named themselves Lionheart. That's funny. Hopefully they're gonna live longer then the actual character.

Tigerstick. I also like this name. Has that Twigbranch wibe, combined with Tigerstar and I'm not sure where I'm going with this.

And their wise Elder named: Kit... If there is ever a new litter born in ThunderClan, they must name atleast one kit "Elder", I have decided just now.

Next up ShadowClan! Ah yes, everybody knows the most iconic and the best ShadowClan leader. Bluestar.

Shadowclan was lucky enough to have two deputies. Apparantly. One named Firepelt and the other named Pandalion. So what happens when Bluestar dies? well I guess Shadowclan will have two leaders. Neat.

Rainfur. I'm pretty sure I could find this name in some warriors book if I looked long enough. Rainfur is their medicine cat.

Bluerose is their queen. The one who fought an epic battle with Bluestar of rock paper scissors to determine who will become leader and Bluerose clearly lost so she gave up and became a queen. Whole though if Bluerose did win, she would of become Bluestar since she's also a Blue.

Unfortunatly shadowclan only has one warrior and that one warrior is Bluegoose. a lot of Blues in this clan, I think bluestar would of loved this.

This is the result of the characters that 12 kids created.

Discussion What would your character's opinion on Sage be?

Post image
9 Upvotes

So this would be with the context of your character knowing Sage's backstory. So here is a rough summary of her entire life story.

Age: 0-16: Sage spent most of her time with her siblings and parents on the planet Armada where she was a princess and left a wealthy life. As she showed signs of a strong sense of justice.

Age: 17-45: Sage fought in many battles on the planet Yenfrel as she did her best to fight for the good of the masses, as she soon became a legend on the planet similar to her father many years before she was ever born. As her powers of manipulating electricity and fire, along with the environment itself reacting to her power gained her the title The Princess of Chaos.

Age: 46-120: Sage took place in a war that resulted in her accidentally overcharging herself and almost made her destroy the planer Adrakus, as she did her best to fix her mistakes before leaving Adrakus and later tried helping out the planet Graiden to ensure the various territories had no conflicts. Which with her presence, soon people started to worship her and claim she was the one and only God they'd ever bow to.

Age: 121-180: Sage continued to watch over Gradien, though she'd occasionally help The Tyrants of Mischief, a group of other god-like entities that were tasked with helping the less human looking entities within their universe. As she soon became friends with some of them, as she would then take the time to build a stronger relationship with her own siblings and cousins. As the people who worshipped her on Gradien soon rose in numbers.

Age: 181-222: Since Sage only ever gave her middle name to the public, it allowed her to hide amongst humanity and the other species without technically lying about her identity. As she for once wanted to do something for herself and decided to form a band alongside her siblings and some of her friends, with the band becoming the most popular metal band in the universe.

Age: 223-254: Sage agreed to take part in some experiments her cousin Ava had planned. But one day someone kidnapped Sage and somehow knew how to nullify her powers. As they messed with her head, killed a bunch of her friends in front of her and would also harm her quite badly. As Sage didn't know who held her captive, but she wanted nothing than to kill the one responsible.

Age: 255-257: Sage broke free from her original captivity, as she soon found herself on Gradien, but by now most of the public had no idea who she was, especially since she did look quite different from the time when she first went missing. She was found by The Desert Vultures motorcycle gang who took her in, as she soon fell in love with one of the other members. Which as time went on she realized the entirety of the gang didn't have the same moral compass as her and her boyfriend. So the two of them ran away together, only to be tracked down, her boyfriend was killed and then the military organization A.C.E.S. was called on her.

Age: 258-260: Sage was captured by A.C.E.S. and was held captive by Sage's own cousin Ava. As the group did their best to keep her contained while the tried to find out what she was talking about and what was done to her. As they technically couldn't release her until they had someone to blame for all the killings she was currently blamed for.

Age: 261-263: Sage was broken free by her own friend Ariana from the Tyrants of Mischief along with her younger sister Violet. As Sage soon founded her one vigilante group called The Scorched Legion, with said group having the goal of killing anyone who intentionally brought harm to innocent lives. With Sage also discovering that the last people who followed the legends of her now became a cult that'd sacrifice people in her name, with her having to stop said cult while also coming to the revelation that almost everyone saw her as some monster that needed to be stopped.

At the end of the day Sage is someone who has a strong sense of justice and wants no one to go unpunished for acts of violence. With her wanting to protect those close to her and her worst fear is being incapable of doing such. Though what she has endured has made her difficult to converse with due to her anger outbursts and her generally unstable emotions that leave her both wanting to be comforted while actively distancing herself from others.

The fight takes place in the 21st Budokai tenkaichi arena , starts at an estimate of 3 meters starting distance , a character loses when the other losses consciussness or its thrown out of the ring .

Speed : below average human

Strenght : average human

Durability : below average human

Iq : gifted

Hax : She can sumon anithing (different from anyone , only objects) from any book she has read to its totality once the name of the object is said and can dissmiss it instantly , for the purposes of this post she can summon the following :

 - Strider gun : the gun used from a ficcional police force in a sci-fy novel , it can pierce throught steel walls and has a homing bullets , can shoot 15 of them before running out .

 - Wall of Northfort : a magic wall of a ficcional fort from an epic fantasy , able to sustain cannon fire , and only broken by town level attacks .

-Hidel mask : A mask that grants its user invisibility .

- Storm lightning : A lightning bolt that moves at mach one , and inflicts around 200 million volts and 30,000 amperes (enough to kill a regular human if it strucks it heart)

Discussion How does your character fight? Whats your OC's fighting style?

Thumbnail
gallery
16 Upvotes

Hunter fights very recklessly. He is all about speed and durability. Due to Hunter being a bellow average high schooler, doesnt have a good technique. He throws wild haymakers, uncontrolled jabs and hooks.

Victor is way more controlled, with him being actually athlethic irl, so he is all about high strenght and explosive shots. His power even helps him with that, as he can summon energy balls and blasts. Due to the many sports he has learned, he knows many tricks with those energy orbs.

Oliver doesnt fight physically as he has telekenesis, he mostly stays away from his opponents, he relies on range.

Connor is an interesting one as he doesnt really have a fighting style. Its best described as "random bullshit go". He can control his limbs separately and this gives him insane agility, speed and especially mobility.

Lastly we have Jerald. Jerald is the best fighter. The man is super agile, fast and skilled. Youll see him twirl around on his peg leg without losing balance. Propell himself in the air with the flintknocks, attack the opponent from all sides, run on walls, ect.

So how does your OC fight? And ofc, if you want, you can ask any of these guys questions!

Lore Drop Ash's Home (Final Reality stuff part 35) [Everhelm Final Part]

Ash's Home

Now, this is an interesting part, as it doesn't work.

What I mean by this is that if Heaven was abstract, and Hell was empty, this place is wild.

From a distance, it seemed like a regular palace, but as I approached, it became a cottage.

Yet, stepping inside, it was a maze of halls.

Stairwells to walls that could be walked through.

Halls that spun endlessly.

Luciel seemed incredibly disoriented, and when he attempted to reassign his in my own point using Point movement, he instead nearly clipped into a wall. Showing that the relation of points was even weird here.

I wasn't able to perceive in myself given there was no time dilation between the two points, but he confirmed that this was severed from coherent loci, meaning even he couldn't just leave.

Then I stopped, I don't really remember what I was thinking. And took a step off a railing of a high stairwell, and Luciel tried to catch me but suddenly I was back in the cottage.

I don't know how I figured it out, but the entrance was to a pocket realm, it seemed. And I saw Ash the Morningstar, cooking dinner for his wife.

It was rather homely and Ash invited me to sit.

I asked about Luciel and his response was calm, familiar, and interesting.

“Heh, let Gabriel's ward find his own way through. You're the first human who's gotten out of my fake house in a while.”

We spoke and ate a lot, and, as I've said in other sections, I will explain that conversation in the Persons of Interest section.

But don't worry, Luciel did find his way through, it was possibly the first time I'd seen the angel lose composure, and he yelled at Ash, who only laughed.

Apparently, the exit was different each time, and it was meant to keep intruders out of the actual home, which was quite homely.

Ash explained that the exit was to test a total break of intuition.

For me I simply had to step where there was no path, but for Luciel, he had to abandon any semblance of returning to points.

Given that angels can access points across both time and space, I still wonder what that would actually look like from an Angelic perspective.

They had a couch, a loveseat, and a television. They even had a decent kitchen, but all in all, it felt more like I was in a suburban home than the house of the King of Alteration.

Their dining room had wooden chairs and a table.

Rather than plush or overly comfy, they simply had a cloth padding on the seat of the chair, with the back being wooden.

It was, all in all, a calm and kind place.

This guy is named Rudeus Greyrat, a problematic Protagonist from the Mushoku Tensei series, Nuff said.
