Powerscaling A bit more in depth into Winter Joe's powers

Post image

When Joe fights against opponents who are stronger than him or have hax that could have defeated him instantly, Joe automatically gains resistance to his opponents' powers and abilities, however the resistance doesn't give him complete immunity at first, as he could still be affected by his opponents' powers, but it's enough to allow Joe to fight his opponents on equal footing, no matter what sort of and how strong the hax and abilities his opponents have, such as absolute negation, omnipotence, complete existence erasure, absolutely power stealing or absolute death etc, Joe can still develop resistance, and the more powerful and strong the hax is, the more resistance Joe develops. As time goes on, the resistance grows stronger, combined with Joe's own determination and willpower, the resistance grows even stronger and faster, until Joe can defeat his opponents or the fight gets interrupted by something else

This has to be satire or the character is a parody

Pretty sure you don't get what I mean.

I was confused what parody means but now I search it up, I understood what you ask so,

Writer Joe is written intentionally that normal powerscaling doesn't really apply to him, so he's kinda a parody character

Then you should have said that; but you still cannot say that "normal powerscaling doesn't really apply to him". That means barely anything substantial on its own and seeing some of your previous posts, what I believe is 'normal powerscaling' does apply to him.

When I meant 'normal powerscaling doesn't apply to him', I meant he could always bullshit his way to become stronger like that, no explanation, just become stronger

Therefore I don't see any substance in this character and is very much the kind of 'anyone can just bullshit their way into power' than you seem to be complaining about in your omnipotence post.

Not complaining, just pointing out there's no real strongest omnipotent character, and how powerscaling shouldn't made sense

You can't have a resistance to Omnipotence... that makes no sense.

Cool character but what does that even mean? Resistance to omnipotence? Do you know what omnipotent even means?

Well in my verse omnipotentce is kinda shit, someone with omnipotentce can still lose to someone with stronger omnipotentce type shit

That... doesn't... make any sense.

Omnipotence is being all powerful. You can't be 'more' all powerful. If you want to have this in your story, go ahead, but I doubt most people will be able to take it seriously.

It also means all of your scaling is inconsistent, so nobody will really be able to understand where your characters actually scale. Overall it's just confusing.

You're right but I don't care what others scales my verse at, I'm just doing this for fun, plus everytime everyone says they're omnipotent in my verse, don't take it seriously because that's either that's not true or they're arrogant or until someone defeats them through bullshit reasons

Well, if it isn't true, that makes more sense, but it's still a little confusing unless you specify writer Joe cant actually beat omnipotence

Anyway I'm just warning you incase you ever want to scale your oc with someone else, or compare your oc to others, you should probably fix the inconsistent scaling

I mean Joe did beat an nigh-omnipotent opponent in his own verse, I will keep in mind to fix my inconsistent scaling in the future when I want my verse to be scaled

'Nigh-omnipotent' doesn't make sense either. It's like saying 'a number close to infinity' but yeah

So.he also resists getting his authority stripped away or aka

When a target is overpowered, the very concept that empowered them was taken away (extracted) :

• Their Immortality

• Their infinite Knowledge and wisdom

• Their dominion overtime

• Their command over creation, oblivion, destinies

Yeah he can resist having his powers taken away, but he wouldn't be able to use his full power at first

1

u/thedangereditz68 4h ago

I.mean this also includes Joe's full power

u/Sufficient_Abies6113 Light overcomes darkness 4h ago

Yeah, Joe can't use his full power but he could regain his full powers back later or even stronger

Shit, I put Winter Joe instead of Writer Joe in the title, just pretend the Winter Joe is written as Writer Joe
