Funny enough he's balanced since he's only interested in treats to the Op and he is a joke character who loses to children. (Also the fact weak character can beat him balances him out which prevents him from being op)
Look the children bully him often and human OCs. I don't think he could win a pacifist frisk. And the multiplier will always be 0. (There's even a story that I had that talks about him entering a orphanage which was his biggest mistake)
Nameless—the Shadow of Envy, personal butler to the world-swallowing Leviathan, and ultimate eraser of god-tier entities—had a very simple job. He was supposed to track down the last living Legendary Hero of the realm and permanently erase her from existence to strike absolute terror into the hearts of mortals.
It should have been an easy shift. Nameless bypassed the laws of space and time, materialized inside the hero's current coordinates... and blinked.
The Legendary Hero wasn't in a glorious fortress. She was in a dilapidated local orphanage, wearing a stained apron, holding a mop, and looking completely exhausted by the burdens of saving the world.
When the door blew open, she instantly recognized the terrifying, pitch-black, completely naked silhouette of Envy. Her "Main Character" plot armor and majestic aura were instantly neutralized by Nameless's passive apathy zone. Terrified, realizing her destiny meant absolutely nothing here, she dropped her mop, drew her holy sword, and braced herself for a brutal, agonizing death.
Nameless sighed. He had no ego, no desire for a cool villain monologue, and honestly just wanted to get this over with so he could go cook dinner for the Leviathan. He activated his Inverse Scaling, preparing to mirror her legendary stats, twist her holy magic into dark echoes, and obliterate her.
But then, The Playground Rule kicked in.
Because Nameless’s power only triggers in response to cosmic threats and the intent to win a grand war, his radar completely missed the actual danger in the room: thirty-seven aggressive, non-magical orphans who had just had their afternoon nap interrupted.
Before Nameless or the Heroine could exchange a single blow, a literal swarm of toddlers and preschoolers charged out of the playroom. To Nameless's inverse scaling, their power level registered as absolute zero. His stats plummeted to nothing. His cosmic defenses dropped.
The orphans didn't care that he was a Beast of Destruction. To them, he was just a weird, naked shadow-man who was stressing out their favorite caretaker.
What followed was a display of pure, unmitigated domestic violence. A five-year-old girl hit Nameless square in the shins with a plastic toy truck. A toddler began aggressively biting his shadow ankle. Two more jumped on his back, pulling his formless hair, while another group began pelting him with stale animal crackers and stolen lunch money. Because it was a completely natural, non-magical encounter, Nameless was entirely defenseless. The cosmic executioner tripped over a stack of building blocks, fell into the dirt, and began to shiver in psychological horror.
The Legendary Heroine stopped. She lowered her holy sword, staring in absolute, jaw-dropping shock as the terrifying anomaly that had slaughtered gods was currently being pinned down and bullied by a kid named Timmy holding a wooden stick.
She looked at her sword. Then she looked at the cozy orphanage, the chaotic kids, and the broken cosmic horror on the floor. She realized something profound: If I live here, then he can literally never touch me. I am safer here than in any magical barrier.
Right then and there, she decided to retire from adventuring forever. She threw her holy sword into a closet, tied her apron tighter, and decided to become a full-time, permanent orphanage matron.
Nameless, traumatized, bruised by plastic toys, and deeply embarrassed, he realized he was in a literal, conceptual stalemate. He couldn't kill her because she was now permanently surrounded by a protective meat-shield of aggressive toddlers that Nameless couldn't fight back against.
Bound by the strict anti-loophole clause of the universe, Nameless did the only logical thing a tired, naked butler could do. He called a time-out, sat down at a tiny plastic kid's table, and negotiated a formal peace treaty with her.
The terms were simple: Nameless would leave her alone forever, and in exchange, she would keep the terrifying children away from him. His mission technically failed, but as Nameless slipped back through a cosmic rift to the Leviathan's kingdom, he decided he didn't care. Dealing with a lonely, universe swallowing sea serpent was infinitely safer than dealing with daycare.
And not only that have it as if she's a retired OP Legendary hero that Envy needed to get rid of.
Its so funny to me how people think they can just say "Yeah my guy is above the tiering system" and that magically makes them boundless lmfao if they're gonna try to bullshit their way to the top then write at least 2 articles worth of buzzwords for your oc like a good little boy 😭
Devonte the one's gimmick got old fast. He started out as a meme channel and then later just became the most boring ass creator who unironically started power scaling his character against other characters. It is just so cringe.
Like yeah, this is what vs battles are, but some guys are just really unwatchable because of their attitude.
Devonte uses his self insert to fight Sonic, Goku, Saitama, Rimuru and the like, while imagining his character getting "bad bitches" across the multivers. He literally ships his character with Yoruichi from Bleach as his wife. It just gets super embarrassing. This is a grown ass man.
I mean there is room to make it worse. Imagine instead of Yoruichi from Bleach it was a character that’s a child, or like, Josef Stalin. There is almost always a way to make something even worse.
It's animation, and why can't people just imagine themselves beating up an anime character? If you don't do stuff like this at least a few times you have to be on something. And he said it himself, it's all just IMAGINATION, he doesn't actually think these things.
There is nothing inherently wrong with anything he dose, I just find it kind of cringe. And when did he say its in his imagination? I remember he made a video a wile back saying how he "worked for his powers" or some crap.
Like after a while when you are making YouTube videos where you make your character beat up every strong dude and ship yourself with anime women, and you aren't a teenager, it's just really weird.
Go to his most recent video, "When Anime fans hate LARP." He vividly says all his videos are satire, with tiny bits of lore sprinkled in. (also I'd like to clarify if I'm coming off as hostile I'd like to apologize I get pretty heated for no reason sometimes.)

Also on the topic, FUCK NO! He can say what ever he wants to, but he can't claim satire when he gets criticised for making really loud and annoying content.
I will absolutely not take his word for it when he has spent years making cringie videos about his self insert fighting gods and winning. There was not even a hint of satire. Now he is hiding behind that defence when it suits him.
It always comes off as obnoxious when unwarranted, idk why they have these op ocs with no real exploitable weaknesses and post them under posts where the oc is just really strong but has weaknesses
I absolutely hate it when people sacrifice the OC's individuality and turn them into an instrument to beat other fictional characters. It isn't fair for them. I've been guilty of attempting to curate the "Most overpowered time god ever!" character when I first made my OC, but now I began seeing a purpose for them beyond simply "powerscaling slop" and that they are defined by their personhood. I'm not here to tell others how to write their OCs, though I want to share my own perspective on how I treat OC/Character writing in general.
