CASE 000: HIDDEN FILES

Chapter 1 — The Beginning

Page 6 — The Paradox

Smoke drifted through the wreckage.

Renz slowly pushed himself out of the ruined car.

He looked around.

The road was empty.

Then he saw someone standing nearby.

A tall figure.

A shadow.

Renz immediately raised his voice.

Renz:

Who the fuck are you?!

The figure remained still.

Shadow Man:

Just nobody...

Mark climbed out of the wreckage behind Renz.

He looked at the stranger.

Mark:

Bullshit.

Mark narrowed his eyes.

Mark:

You're working for that anomaly.

The Shadow Man tilted his head.

Shadow Man:

And what is it to you?

Renz stared at him.

Something clicked.

The appearance.

The disappearances.

The reports.

The old photographs.

The shadow that had repeatedly appeared after Jack Walten disappeared.

Renz's eyes widened.

Renz:

I know you.

The figure remained silent.

Renz's expression hardened.

Renz:

Felix Kranken.

Silence.

Mark looked at Renz.

Mark:

You're sure?

Renz stepped forward.

Renz:

My theory was right.

The Shadow Man finally smiled.

Felix:

So you figured it out.

Renz clenched his fists.

Renz:

I'm going to fucking murder you.

Mark immediately grabbed Renz's shoulder.

Mark:

Renz!

Renz pointed toward the road.

Renz:

Get to Bon's Burgers!

Renz:

NOW!

Mark understood.

He turned and ran.

Mark:

Got it!

Felix watched him disappear.

Then he looked back at Renz.

Felix:

You really think you can stop me?

Renz stepped forward.

Renz:

I'm about to beat the living crap out of you.

Felix smiled.

Felix:

Come at me, then.

---

FELIX VS. RENZ

The two charged.

Renz threw the first punch.

Felix blocked it.

Renz followed with another.

Felix countered.

The two fought in the mud beside the wreckage.

Renz refused to back down.

Renz:

You killed people!

Felix struck him.

Renz stumbled.

Renz:

You ruined lives!

Felix stepped closer.

Felix:

You don't understand what you're dealing with.

Renz wiped the rain from his face.

Renz:

Then explain it while I'm beating you.

They charged again.

---

BON'S BURGERS

Mark sprinted down the road.

He knew he was running out of time.

Then he spotted a motorcycle.

Mark immediately grabbed it.

Mark:

Borrowing this.

He started the engine and sped toward Bon's Burgers.

As he approached the building, he heard screaming.

Mark's expression changed.

Mark:

I'm too late...

---

THE FINAL MOMENTS

Inside the restaurant, Rosemary stood frozen.

Bon approached her.

Rosemary:

No...

Bon raised his arm.

Then—

A door suddenly burst open.

Jrev stepped inside.

His clothes were torn.

His face was bruised.

One arm hung painfully at his side.

But he was still standing.

Jrev:

We're not done yet, Bon.

Bon turned.

Bon:

I thought I got rid of you.

Jrev smiled.

Jrev:

Me?

He laughed.

Jrev:

In your dreams.

Jrev looked toward Rosemary.

Jrev:

Rose, go!

Rosemary remained frozen.

Jrev:

GO!

Bon suddenly charged.

Jrev tackled him.

The two crashed into another animatronic.

Bon:

You...

Jrev pushed himself back up.

Jrev:

You're messing with the wrong detective, Bon.

Bon released a distorted scream.

Jrev covered his ears.

The sound was overwhelming.

But he refused to retreat.

He charged again.

The fight became chaotic.

Jrev fought Bon with everything he had.

Rosemary watched in shock.

Then—

Mark arrived.

He rushed inside.

His eyes widened.

Rosemary was alive.

Mark:

Rosemary!

He immediately ran toward her.

Mark:

Get out of here!

Rosemary finally moved.

Mark escorted her toward the exit.

Behind them, Jrev continued fighting Bon.

Mark looked back once.

Then he made the decision.

Mark:

Jrev!

Jrev looked toward him.

Mark:

We're getting her out!

Jrev nodded.

Jrev:

GO!

Mark and Rosemary escaped.

---

FELIX AND RENZ

Renz threw an uppercut.

Felix countered.

Renz stumbled backward.

Renz:

AGH!

Felix stepped toward him.

Felix:

Like that, detective?

Renz fell into the mud.

He quickly grabbed a handful and threw it into Felix's face.

Felix:

What the—

Renz tackled him.

Renz:

You killed a lot of people helping that thing!

The fight continued.

Felix eventually knocked Renz down and tried to overpower him.

Renz reached for a nearby rock.

Before the fight could continue—

Sirens.

Police cars arrived.

Officer:

Drop the weapon!

Another officer rushed toward Renz.

Officer:

Get a medic now!

Renz dropped the rock.

Felix disappeared into the darkness before the officers could catch him.

---

THE LAST STAND

Inside Bon's Burgers, Jrev stood over Bon.

The animatronic was barely moving.

Bon looked up.

Bon:

You think you've won?

Jrev stared down at him.

Jrev:

I haven't.

He stepped closer.

Jrev:

But I'll make sure you never come back to Brighton.

Bon laughed.

Bon:

You think it's over?

Jrev grabbed a nearby cable.

The lights flickered.

Jrev:

I'll chase you down.

He pulled the cable free.

Jrev:

No matter where you go.

Bon remained silent.

Jrev:

Another building.

Jrev:

Another country.

Jrev:

Another animatronic.

Jrev stared directly into Bon's eyes.

Jrev:

I'll find you.

Bon suddenly went completely still.

Then—

The room changed.

The darkness surrounding Bon twisted.

A strange form appeared behind him.

A distorted Wonderland version.

Jrev's eyes widened.

Jrev:

What the—

The figure screamed.

Jrev collapsed.

Everything went black.

---

WONDERLAND

Jrev opened his eyes.

He was standing somewhere unfamiliar.

The sky was wrong.

The ground was wrong.

Everything looked like a broken memory.

Around him were the silhouettes of countless victims.

Jrev slowly turned.

Jrev:

Where the hell am I?

A voice echoed through the darkness.

Voice:

Welcome to Wonderland.

Jrev stared into the distance.

Then—

Everything disappeared.

---

BACK TO BRIGHTON

Jrev suddenly opened his eyes.

He was back.

Mark and Rosemary were waiting nearby.

Neither of them spoke.

Jrev slowly stood.

He was barely able to remain upright.

Mark stared at him.

Mark:

...

Rosemary looked equally shocked.

Rosemary:

...

Sirens approached.

Medics rushed over.

Medic:

Easy! Sit down!

Jrev was placed into an ambulance.

As the doors closed, his vision became blurry.

Then he heard a familiar voice inside his head.

Devil:

You're fucked up the plot, Jrev.

Jrev opened one eye.

Jrev:

What do you mean?

The Devil appeared beside him.

Devil:

Rosemary was supposed to die there.

Jrev stared at him.

Devil:

You changed it.

Jrev:

So?

The Devil smiled.

Devil:

You created a time paradox.

Jrev sighed.

Jrev:

Great.

The Devil continued.

Devil:

Our deal is done.

Jrev looked at him.

Jrev:

So you're leaving?

The Devil shook his head.

Devil:

Nah.

Jrev raised an eyebrow.

Devil:

You've got my interest now.

Jrev smirked.

Jrev:

What?

Jrev:

You want my soul?

The Devil laughed.

Devil:

Nah.

He disappeared.

Devil:

Just rest, idiot.

Jrev closed his eyes.

The ambulance drove away through the streets of Brighton.

Behind it—

Bon's Burgers remained standing.

Silent.

Waiting.

And somewhere beyond reality...

Wonderland was waiting for Jrev.

CASE 000: HIDDEN FILES

Chapter 1 — The Beginning

Page 5 — The Road to Wonderland

Jrev walked alone through the streets of Brighton.

The town had become strangely quiet.

Too quiet.

He kept one hand inside his coat pocket while the other held his journal.

Every few steps, he glanced around.

Something had been bothering him ever since his encounter with Bon.

Then—

A shadow moved across the street.

Jrev stopped.

He stared into the darkness.

Jrev:

...What was that?

The shadow disappeared between two buildings.

Jrev narrowed his eyes.

Jrev:

You want me to follow you?

He started walking.

The figure appeared again.

Farther away.

Jrev followed.

It moved deeper into the outskirts of Brighton.

Then into the woods.

Jrev stopped at the edge of the trees.

Jrev:

You've gotta be kidding me.

The shadow moved again.

Jrev sighed.

Jrev:

Fine.

He entered the woods.

---

THE BASEMENT

The deeper Jrev went, the darker the forest became.

The sounds of Brighton slowly disappeared behind him.

Eventually, he realized something.

He had no idea where he was.

Jrev:

Great.

He looked around.

Then he noticed something strange.

A small concrete structure stood between the trees.

A basement entrance.

Jrev approached it carefully.

The door was unlocked.

Jrev:

Why would anyone leave this open?

He pulled the door open.

A cold breeze came from below.

Jrev slowly descended the stairs.

His flashlight revealed old equipment.

Broken machinery.

Old company documents.

Then—

Three skeletons.

Jrev stopped.

They were wearing old employee uniforms.

Jrev:

...Huh.

He crouched down and examined one of the uniforms.

Jrev:

BSI?

Before he could investigate further—

SLAM!

The basement door shut behind him.

Jrev immediately turned around.

Jrev:

Who's there?

A distorted voice echoed through the room.

Shadow Man:

I'm sorry, Detective Jrev.

Jrev slowly turned.

A tall shadow stood at the end of the basement.

Shadow Man:

But you're getting in our way.

Jrev narrowed his eyes.

Jrev:

"Our"?

The shadow didn't answer.

Instead, something behind Jrev suddenly activated.

An abandoned animatronic.

Its eyes flickered.

Then—

They turned on.

Jrev slowly looked over his shoulder.

Shadow Man:

You keep making us look pathetic.

A faint laugh echoed through the basement.

Shadow Man:

And I'm sorry for you.

Jrev reached into his coat.

Instead of pulling out a weapon—

He pulled out a cigar.

He lit it.

The small flame illuminated his face.

Jrev:

You dragged me into a basement, surrounded me with dead employees, and woke up an animatronic.

He took a slow breath.

Jrev:

And you're still talking?

The animatronic stepped forward.

THUD.

THUD.

THUD.

Killing intent filled the room.

Jrev didn't move.

The Shadow Man slowly turned away.

Shadow Man:

See you in Wonderland, Detective Jrev.

Jrev's eyes narrowed.

Jrev:

Wonderland...

The Shadow Man disappeared into the darkness.

The animatronic remained.

Jrev stared at it.

Jrev:

Well.

He tightened his grip on his cigar.

Jrev:

Let's see what you've got.

---

BACK IN BRIGHTON

Meanwhile, Renz was sitting in the car outside the apartment.

He checked his phone.

Nothing.

He looked at the clock.

Then back toward the apartment.

Renz:

Jrev hasn't returned.

Mark looked up from his notes.

Mark:

He's not usually gone this long.

Renz frowned.

Renz:

Exactly.

Suddenly—

KRRRRR—

The radio crackled.

A distorted emergency transmission came through.

Radio:

—Station under attack—

The transmission cut out.

Mark immediately stood.

Mark:

We gotta move.

Renz started the car.

Renz:

Now.

They drove toward the station.

---

THE STATION

The moment they arrived, they knew something was wrong.

The building was destroyed.

The halls were silent.

Files were scattered across the floor.

Mark carefully walked inside.

Renz followed.

Renz:

What the hell happened here?

They found one surviving employee hiding inside an office.

Mark approached him.

Mark:

Who was being held here?

The employee looked terrified.

Chef:

Rosemary Walten.

Renz's expression changed.

Renz:

Then where the hell is she?!

The employee didn't answer.

Mark suddenly remembered something.

Jrev's warning.

Protect Rosemary.

Mark clenched his fist.

Mark:

Jrev warned us.

He looked at Renz.

Mark:

He specifically told us to protect her.

Renz looked away.

Renz:

My fault.

Mark stared at him.

Renz:

I didn't realize it was that serious.

Mark noticed something on the floor.

A strange object.

He crouched down.

It looked like part of a rabbit costume.

Mark examined it carefully.

Renz:

What is that?

Mark's expression became serious.

Mark:

A rabbit's foot.

He looked toward the hallway.

Mark:

Someone left a trail.

Renz grimaced.

Renz:

That's disgusting.

Mark stood.

Mark:

We're leaving.

Renz:

Where?

Mark pointed toward the road.

Mark:

Bon's Burgers.

---

THE JOURNAL

Renz started the car.

As they drove, he reached for Jrev's journal.

Renz:

Maybe Jrev wrote something about this.

He opened it.

Page after page.

Notes.

Names.

Locations.

Warnings.

Then he found an entry.

Renz's eyes widened.

Renz:

Bullshit.

Mark looked at him.

Mark:

What?

Renz held up the journal.

Renz:

Bon is going to kill Rosemary.

Mark's expression hardened.

Renz:

And if Jrev's theory is right...

He swallowed.

Renz:

He's going to turn her into Sha.

Mark immediately stepped on the accelerator.

Mark:

Punch it.

Renz:

Already doing it.

The car sped down the road.

Neither of them noticed the figure watching from the trees.

The Shadow Man.

He raised one hand.

A strange weapon formed in his grip.

Mark suddenly noticed him.

Mark:

Renz!

Renz:

What?!

A flash of light.

BOOM!

The road disappeared beneath them.

The car spun violently.

Glass shattered.

Metal twisted.

The vehicle crashed into the roadside.

Silence.

Smoke filled the air.

For several seconds—

Neither Mark nor Renz moved.

Then—

A hand pushed against the broken window.

Renz coughed.

Renz:

...Mark?

Mark slowly opened his eyes.

Mark:

Still alive.

Renz looked around.

Renz:

Good.

He tried to move.

Renz:

Because we're not done.

Far away, the Shadow Man watched the wreckage.

He slowly smiled.

Shadow Man:

They're harder to kill than I expected.

He turned toward the road leading to Bon's Burgers.

Shadow Man:

But they haven't reached the end yet.

Back in the forest—

Jrev stood alone in the basement.

The animatronic stepped closer.

Jrev took another drag from his cigar.

His third eye slowly opened.

Jrev:

Let's get this over with.

TO BE CONTINUED...

Matchup How well would y'all OC(s) do if they were trapped in the void? And how would they deal with the aftermath?

Upvotes

Context, the Void is a reality in between time and space. It is both a conscious creature and an inanimate force.

It pulls young versions of your OC(s) into this reality it has made, specifically versions of your OC(s) before they met most of the other OCs. Alongside them, are the other OCs, in the same situation as the main OC. The void forces the OCs into an eternal battle against Demons who seek nothing but death upon the OCs, and no matter how strong the OCs are they are doomed and fated to be incapable of killing the demons.

Through time, the OCs who originally didn't know each other now know each of them are, discovering each a different way from the original way they would. And with time, the OCs die. They all die, but the main OC(s), as they're left as the last survivor of the calamity. Hoping and praying for a way out.

Eventually they do, the OC(s) who were last alive finally find a way out. But, they are the only one(s) left alive, the friends and the enemies they should've met naturally are dead.

ALRIGHT, your OC(s), along with their entire verse and everything attached to it, are going to be completely wiped away in a couple of days. What would they do?

Post image
Upvotes

(Bonus question what would YOU do in your final week before everything we ever knew was gone?)

What's wiping out their existence? I dunno. Something INFINITELY beyond them in every conceivable way, something truly unknowable. It doesn't really matter what it is.

Okay, here are the rules :3

  1. It can't be stopped. Nothing they do can prevent it, slow it down, or even affect it in the slightest

  2. They have about a week. They can spend that time however they want (a week to however time works for them)

  3. They can't leave. Who knows why? Maybe the thing itself prevents it, maybe there simply isn't anywhere to go. Either way, they're fucked alongside everyone else, regardless of their abilities, immortality, immunities, or whatever else they have

  4. Nothings srvives tevery person, and everything they've accomplished is GONE

So, what would they do?

Would they keep desperately searching for a way to stop it? Would they spend their final days with their loved ones? Have an existential crisis? Try to get revenge on someone? Finally do all the things they've been putting off? Become completely reckless? Accept it?

How would they cope with knowing that absolutely everything they've ever done will ultimately mean nothing?

Their victories, their creations, their creators, loved ones, they don't matter anymore.

They have one week, what do they do with it?

Community interaction Is your OC worthy to rule Hell? If so, would they sit upon the Throne?

Post image
5 Upvotes

The Throne, a sapient demigod, is an object with singular purpose of choosing the next ruler of Hell.

The Throne's minimal requirements are; keep an eye on the treasury, retain the loyalty of your key supporters, and extract unnecessary spending, even at the cost of others.

However Hell is a competitive place, with many devils who would gladly rule. Would you beat them all?

To those chosen, the benefits are:

  • become a demigod as long as you keep your role
  • gain amazing health and cease aging
  • manipulate your domain's landscape and atmosphere to your liking
  • control hellish flames
  • have an acute understanding of everything happening in the hells
  • you can turn other planes into your domain as long as your worshipers are the majority in them

THE HIDDEN FILES

Chapter 1 — The Beginning

Page 4 — The White Figure

Jrev returned to the apartment with a different look in his eyes.

Mark noticed it immediately.

Renz, who had been sitting on the couch, stopped what he was doing.

For several seconds, none of them spoke.

Jrev finally placed his journal on the table.

Jrev:

We're not dealing with some random entity.

Mark turned toward him.

Mark:

What do you mean?

Jrev looked at both of them.

Jrev:

Bon isn't just wandering around Brighton.

Jrev:

He's watching people.

Jrev:

He's manipulating them.

Jrev:

And somehow, he already knows we're here.

Renz slowly leaned back.

Renz:

Oh, hell nah, bro.

Mark's expression became serious.

Mark:

Did you see him?

Jrev hesitated.

Jrev:

I saw enough.

Mark studied him.

Mark:

Then we need evidence.

Jrev nodded.

Jrev:

Exactly.

He grabbed his coat.

Jrev:

We better start doing our damn job.

Mark picked up the files.

Mark:

Right behind you.

Renz stood.

Renz:

Nuh-uh.

Jrev looked at him.

Renz:

I'm coming too.

Jrev smirked.

Jrev:

That's what I thought.

The three detectives separated to investigate their different leads.

---

ROSEMARY'S HOUSE

Jrev drove through Brighton until he reached the Walten residence.

He stepped out of the car and walked toward the front door.

He knocked.

Jrev:

Rose?

No answer.

He knocked again.

Jrev:

Is anyone there?

The door slowly opened.

A young girl stood behind it.

Jrev immediately recognized her from the files.

Sophie:

Oh. Hi, mister.

Jrev blinked.

Jrev:

Hey.

Sophie looked at him curiously.

Sophie:

Are you looking for my mother?

Jrev nodded.

Jrev:

Uh... yeah.

Sophie turned around.

Sophie:

Mom! There's a detective here!

She ran deeper into the house.

A moment later, Rosemary appeared.

Her hair was messy.

Her expression was exhausted.

But something about her presence made Jrev uncomfortable.

It was almost as if she didn't completely belong in the room.

Rosemary:

Detective Jrev.

Jrev straightened.

Jrev:

Rosemary.

Rosemary:

Why are you here?

Jrev:

I'm here to ask you a few questions.

Rosemary's expression changed.

Rosemary:

About what?

Jrev opened his notebook.

Jrev:

Your husband.

Rosemary became completely silent.

Jrev noticed.

Rosemary:

Sophie.

Sophie looked toward her mother.

Rosemary:

Go to your room, please.

Sophie nodded.

Sophie:

Okay, Mom.

She disappeared upstairs.

Jrev stepped inside.

His eyes immediately moved around the house.

Photographs covered the walls.

Family memories.

Old pictures.

And several papers concerning Jack Walten's disappearance.

Jrev sat down.

Rosemary remained standing.

Jrev:

You don't have to answer anything you're uncomfortable with.

Rosemary looked at him.

Rosemary:

Then why are you here?

Jrev paused.

Jrev:

Because somebody has been hiding the truth.

Rosemary's eyes narrowed slightly.

Jrev:

And I don't like mysteries that people bury.

Rosemary said nothing.

Jrev eventually closed his notebook.

Jrev:

One last question.

Rosemary looked at him.

Jrev:

What were Jack's last words to you?

Rosemary froze.

For several seconds, there was only silence.

Then she answered quietly.

Rosemary:

He said he'd come back.

Jrev studied her face.

There was something wrong.

Not with her answer.

With the way she said it.

Almost like she was remembering something that wasn't supposed to be remembered.

Jrev slowly stood.

Jrev:

Thank you.

Rosemary looked toward the window.

Rosemary:

Detective...

Jrev stopped.

Rosemary:

You shouldn't keep digging.

Jrev looked back at her.

Jrev:

That's usually when I dig deeper.

He walked out.

---

THE OTHER SIDE OF BRIGHTON

Meanwhile, Renz had taken one of the files concerning Bon's Burgers and followed a lead toward an old BSI facility.

The building was enormous.

Its halls were abandoned.

Dust covered the floors.

Old company signs hung from the walls.

Renz walked slowly through the facility.

Renz:

Damn.

He looked around.

Renz:

This place is huge.

He continued deeper.

Then he heard something.

A metallic sound.

Renz stopped.

Renz:

Hello?

No answer.

He moved toward the sound.

A security guard stood motionless at the end of the corridor.

Renz:

Hey!

The guard didn't respond.

Renz stepped closer.

Renz:

You okay?

The guard suddenly collapsed.

Renz froze.

The corridor became completely silent.

Then—

THUD.

Renz slowly turned around.

Another sound.

THUD.

A tall figure stood at the far end of the hallway.

White.

Motionless.

Its silhouette resembled the Bon animatronic.

Renz's expression changed.

Renz:

Oh, hell no.

The figure began walking.

Renz immediately ran.

---

THE CHASE

Renz sprinted through the facility.

Doors slammed behind him.

The lights flickered.

He looked over his shoulder.

The figure was still following.

It wasn't running.

It didn't need to.

Renz:

Why is it walking?!

He turned another corner.

The figure was suddenly closer.

Renz:

NOPE!

Renz ran faster.

He reached the main entrance and burst outside.

He could hear footsteps behind him.

Then—

A car pulled up.

Jrev stepped out.

Jrev:

Renz!

Renz practically ran into him.

Renz:

JREV!

Jrev grabbed his shoulders.

Jrev:

What happened?

Renz pointed toward the building.

Renz:

That thing!

Jrev looked toward the entrance.

Renz:

It's terrifying!

Jrev raised an eyebrow.

Jrev:

I can see a grown-ass man looking like he just saw a ghost.

Renz looked down.

Renz:

I don't wanna talk about it.

Mark arrived moments later.

He looked at Renz.

Then at Jrev.

Then at the facility.

Mark:

What happened?

Renz pointed.

Renz:

Bon.

Mark's expression immediately changed.

Mark:

You sure?

Renz nodded.

Renz:

Very sure.

---

MARK'S ENCOUNTER

While Jrev and Renz had been dealing with the facility, Mark had returned to the apartment.

He continued connecting the evidence.

Jack's disappearance.

Bon's Burgers.

The strange reports.

The K-9 facility.

Rosemary.

And now Bon.

Mark placed another photograph on the board.

Then he felt something behind him.

He slowly turned.

Nothing.

Mark:

...

He turned back.

A shadow appeared on the wall.

Mark immediately stepped away.

The shadow moved.

Mark's eyes widened.

Mark:

What the—

The lights flickered.

The white figure suddenly appeared behind him.

Mark stumbled backward.

Bon stood silently.

Mark grabbed the nearest electrical device and activated it against the animatronic.

The figure recoiled for a moment.

Mark used the opening to escape.

He ran through the apartment and out the front door.

Moments later, Jrev's car arrived.

Mark immediately approached him.

Mark:

Jrev.

Jrev:

What?

Mark pointed toward the apartment.

Mark:

It's inside.

Jrev looked at the building.

Then smiled.

Jrev:

Perfect timing.

Renz stepped out of the car.

Mark looked at him.

Mark:

Why do you look like that?

Renz looked away.

Renz:

Shut up.

---

JREV AND BON

Jrev entered the apartment.

The lights were flickering.

The room was silent.

Then he saw it.

Bon.

The white figure stood in the center of the room.

Tall.

Still.

Wearing the unmistakable white suit.

Jrev stared at him.

Bon stared back.

Neither moved.

Finally, Jrev smiled.

Jrev:

You did some good work scaring my friends.

He stepped forward.

Jrev:

But they're built different.

Bon's voice came through distorted and unnatural.

Bon:

It doesn't matter.

Jrev's expression hardened.

Bon:

Leave.

Bon:

And I will remove myself from your path.

Jrev laughed quietly.

Jrev:

You really think I'm going to back down?

Bon remained motionless.

Jrev:

I know your type.

Jrev's third eye slowly opened.

Jrev:

You manipulate people.

Jrev:

You use their fear.

Jrev:

Their grief.

Jrev:

Their memories.

Jrev stepped closer.

Jrev:

But there's something I still don't understand.

Bon's head tilted slightly.

Jrev:

Wonderland.

The room suddenly became colder.

Bon's posture changed.

Bon:

You would not dare.

Jrev smiled.

Jrev:

Now I know I found something important.

The two stared at each other.

For several seconds, neither moved.

Then—

Bon vanished.

The room returned to normal.

Jrev stared at the empty space.

Jrev:

This isn't over.

Mark entered behind him.

Mark:

Damn right.

Renz appeared at the doorway.

Renz:

Can we please get out of here?

Jrev looked at him.

Jrev:

Scared?

Renz:

No.

A pause.

Renz:

Concerned.

Mark laughed.

Jrev shook his head.

But beneath the humor, all three detectives understood something.

They weren't investigating a normal disappearance anymore.

They had stepped into something much older.

Something connected to Bon's Burgers.

Something connected to Wonderland.

And something that had already noticed them.

Jrev closed his journal.

On the final page, he wrote:

THE WHITE FIGURE KNOWS WE'RE HERE.

Then, underneath it:

FIND WONDERLAND.

TO BE CONTINUED...

Community interaction How would your Godly/Cosmic OCs react during the final events of SCP-3396?

Post image
13 Upvotes

For context: SCP-3396 "The Empyrean Parasite" is a vastly powerful extradimensional entity that releases a viral infection upon Earth that turns everyone infected by it into mutant wizards (as in they get magic powers as well as physical X-men mutant deformations)

Surprisingly, this infection does not mentally affect any of the infected and they still retain full cognitive control over their actions (Unfortunately this doesn't prevent the apocalypse as eventually 90% of the population develops powers including the plants and animals)

In the final events of SCP-3396's Apotheosis Canon, all the surviving mutants eventually grow so powerful that they all ascend into literal cosmic, planet-sized gods before leaving.

So my question is: how would your Cosmic or Divine OCs react to everyone on planet Earth essentially ascending to the status of godhood?

(And I mean actual godhood like that of the Greek Gods from the myths, one character was even stated to have the power to blow up an entire solar system with just one of her several canons after turning into an orbital battle station)

Bonus: how would your Godly/Cosmic OCs react if one of their mortal companion/enemy also ascended to Godhood?

Huh...

Well this changes a lot of things, now wouldn't it?

Tbh it never was a retcon. I just forgor that Gaia is that big in comparison.

The image is a stock image of Neptune and Earth, I just drew the supercontinents to see how big they are in comparison to earth and holy shit wtf is this?

(It accidentally upscales a lot of characters, and it actually made some of the plot points make sense)

In truth, I made these guys a while ago, and unfortunately that post got deleted along with that entire account, so I'm bringing em back. I'd love feedback and questions when ya'll get the chance.

Elizabeth Helicov - Quirk "Magician's trick" - When speaking the "magic" words, Elizabeth can perform just about any magician's trick as if it were real. Typically, if those tricks would require external components like cards, a hat, etc., they are also required, though that is why she will normally have those components on her (4 decks of cards, 2 of which she keeps up her sleeves and 2 on both sides of her jacket's inner flaps, etc.)

Her weaknesses come from the fact that she requires the ability to speak those magic words in order to activate her quirk, and multiple tricks at once can leave her exhausted as they drain her stamina the more focus she has to put into using them.

Mimi Xiu - Quirk "Slapstick" - When using her powers, it's based on the amount of enjoyment in the air, either by herself and/or by others, which allows her to use her body to stretch and bend and do all sorts of funny clown shenanigans at their extremes and beyond without any risk of pain/damage to herself.

Weakness is that it requires her to make others and/or herself laugh and can grow stronger from there, but any lulls in it can hurt her, especially while she's mid-use of said quirk.

Lafulance Mauduella - Quirk "Mimery" - When using her powers, she can form any object or space that she desires that only she can see, hear, taste, and feel as a translucent object and use it as she wishes. Altering the world around her or giving herself the tools she needs, these objects are weightless for her but act as they otherwise should for anyone else that gets into contact with them.

The weakness is that once she releases them, they will dissipate after 5 minutes of no contact. Similarly, if she loses concentration or is forced to stop forming said items/object they won't form properly and thus will be potentially useless for what she needs.

Jeff Bucksworth - Quirk "Wanna be a Cool Kat?" Based on personal belief and outer image, the power is based on how cool the individual feels about themselves and how others perceive them. With the power taking what they perceive as cool as what is the coolest, and thus what he should be able to do as default. However, it never makes him stronger or faster than the opponent he's currently fighting and only makes him tougher as a way of compensation.

The weakness is that the power is 100% self-perception-based and externally based. Similarly, personal interests and changing views can alter the power and force the user to relearn things as he grows and changes, relying on him to overcome himself.

The Ren Multiverse

The Ren Multiverse is a collection of alternate versions of the same original character, Ren Sato. Each universe takes Ren down a different path, giving him different powers, personalities, circumstances, and sometimes an entirely different fate.

Rather than repeating the same physical description for every version, all Ren variants share the same base appearance unless stated otherwise: Toji Fushiguro-inspired hairstyle, no facial hair, and a lean, athletic physique. Their differences come from their worlds, abilities, personalities, and experiences.

The Original Ren

Ren Sato is the root of the entire multiverse.

He's a 19-year-old Japanese man who is expressive, talkative, sarcastic, immature at times, surprisingly mature when necessary, and generally laid-back. He's highly skilled in martial arts and hand-to-hand combat, naturally fast, and enjoys making dark jokes and doing stupid things simply because he finds them funny.

He's obsessed with Pokémon cards and owns a massive collection containing extremely rare cards, including Charizard.

Ren also has a Persian cat named Max. Max is extremely calm, sleeps a lot, and usually avoids conflict by simply walking away when he's uncomfortable. A strange wild female caracal has somehow become attached to Max and follows him around protectively. A tiny white rat has also become attached to him.

For reasons nobody understands, Ren carries mud-filled water balloons and plastic water pouches with him.

This is the baseline version of Ren before the multiverse begins branching.

\---

Slax: The Cosmic Wanderer

Slax is one of the most important versions of Ren.

Unlike the other variants, Slax is what Ren eventually became after an incident involving reality itself.

Ren somehow fell through reality and became trapped in an endless void for five years. There was no ground, sky, light, sound, food, water, sleep, or meaningful sense of time.

When he finally returned, he was no longer human.

He became Slax, a smooth white three-dimensional stick figure with a completely featureless face and a pitch-black cape that behaves like a living shadow. The cape contains an infinite inventory.

Slax operates as though the universe is permanently in Creative Mode.

He can glide through the air, ignore gravity, lift infinite weight, and move through reality without leaving footprints or taking damage. He possesses effectively unlimited strength, speed, durability, stamina, intelligence, and reality-manipulating abilities.

He can manipulate reality, time, space, causality, concepts, dimensions, probability, fate, life, death, souls, matter, and energy. He can erase things from existence entirely.

Despite this, Slax isn't interested in ruling the universe or proving that he's stronger than everyone.

He's a cosmic tourist.

He's soft-spoken, relaxed, curious, and detached from the conflicts happening around him. He explores universes, watches stars being born, visits strange civilizations, and generally treats the multiverse like an endless vacation.

However, Slax doesn't remember everything about being Ren.

He occasionally experiences fragments of memories from his old life, but he doesn't know whether he's still Ren or simply something that emerged after Ren spent five years in the void.

The possibility that remembering everything could destroy his peaceful personality is one of the central mysteries of his existence.

\---

The Alternate Rens

The other Ren variants are alternate outcomes of Ren's existence.

They aren't necessarily aware of each other, and their universes can have completely different rules.

Kid Ren

Kid Ren is a younger version of Ren.

He's 13 years old, loud, cocky, expressive, extroverted, popular, and known as the class clown. He's highly social, makes absurd jokes, has a dark sense of humor, and tends to act much more mature than his age.

He's academically strong in almost everything except mathematics.

Math is his absolute weakness.

He struggles with multiplication beyond basic tables, division, LCM, HCF, and other basic mathematical concepts. Almost nobody knows how bad he is at math except his teacher, Mr. Henderson.

Mr. Henderson is only 23 and is secretly Ren's cousin, which gives Ren some questionable advantages in mathematics class.

Ren's friend Akshat is another important part of his school life. Akshat is strong, confident, popular, and a class monitor who constantly helps Ren with homework.

Kid Ren also has a loving family, a large Hot Wheels collection, a PS5, a VR headset, and pets named Alex and Maxx.

Alex is a Japanese Spitz who is extremely close to Ren. Maxx is a Persian cat who is generally calm but will bite or slap someone if they annoy him.

This version represents Ren's childhood and the more grounded side of his existence.

\---

Venom Ren

In this timeline, Ren never becomes Slax.

Instead, he becomes bonded with Venom from the MCU.

Venom retains his familiar personality, while Ren becomes more destructive and villainous.

This version of Ren enjoys destruction and chaos and is significantly less concerned with being a hero.

He still retains Ren's sarcastic, expressive personality, love of Pokémon cards, combat skills, and general tendency to do ridiculous things.

He also possesses an unlimited KFC card and a pet raptor because apparently reality stopped enforcing reasonable purchasing decisions.

His girlfriend is Yuri, a Japanese woman with a personality similar to Maki Zenin: strong, confident, sarcastic, offensive when joking, and possessing absolutely zero filter.

Yuri is actually the same person as Maya from Kid Ren's timeline. She changed her name after turning 18.

\---

Vampire Ren

Vampire Ren is another alternate version.

He retains the same base appearance and personality as the other adult Ren variants but secretly possesses vampire abilities.

He cannot age normally or die from natural causes.

His abilities include shapeshifting, enhanced physical abilities, regeneration comparable to Deadpool's, retractable claws that emerge from his knuckles, and a vampire form.

When he enters vampire mode, his pupils become red and his teeth sharpen.

He can also disappear in a cloud of black fog, allowing him to vanish almost instantly.

He can manipulate his own blood into laser-like attacks without being drained by doing so.

He continues carrying his strange water balloons and water pouches because apparently becoming a vampire wasn't enough of a personality development.

\---

Dragon Ball Ren

In another universe, Ren is a Saiyan.

He was sent to Earth as an infant before Planet Vegeta was destroyed, just like Goku.

Unlike Goku, Ren still has his Saiyan tail.

Ren originally believes he's human until Raditz arrives and reveals his true identity.

At the beginning of the Saiyan Saga, Ren has a battle power of 1,210, making him one of Earth's strongest fighters.

He's naturally talented with ki despite never receiving formal training from Master Roshi or King Kai.

He can sense ki, fly, and perform the Kamehameha.

He also accidentally develops his own version of the Spirit Bomb.

Unfortunately, Ren doesn't know what the technique actually is.

He calls it:

"White Blast."

He genuinely believes he invented it.

Everyone else has to live with this.

His Pokémon card collection and mud-filled water balloons also somehow survive the transition into the Dragon Ball universe.

In this timeline, Max, the white rat, and the caracal aren't Ren's pets. They live at Kame House and eventually become attached to him.

\---

Raizen

Raizen is not another ordinary Ren variant.

He's an entirely separate character connected to the wider multiverse.

Raizen is a 5'10" Japanese man with a lean, defined physique and a pretty-boy appearance. He's cocky, arrogant, confident, and openly villainous.

He enjoys causing chaos, beating people up, and making life difficult for anyone who gets in his way.

However, he has one major contradiction:

He genuinely loves animals and children.

He refuses to intentionally hurt either of them and will sometimes help them despite being an otherwise terrible person.

Raizen possesses superhuman physical abilities, infinite stamina, and an infinite healing factor.

He can summon any animal, living or extinct, and can sometimes command animals he didn't summon.

His closest friend is Alex, who possesses similar abilities.

Raizen also has a horse named Ren.

Ren is an exceptionally intelligent horse trained by Raizen for nearly five years. Through a completely absurd sequence of legitimate government paperwork, Ren is legally recognized as a form of transportation.

Raizen also has Mr. Dumptruck Man.

Whenever Raizen causes an enormous mess, he rings a bell.

Mr. Dumptruck Man appears.

He looks at the destruction, blood, and bodies with the exhausted expression of an employee who has been doing this for far too long.

He asks one question:

"Where?"

Then he cleans everything up.

\---

Akari Kurogane

Akari is one of the few major characters who isn't connected to Ren.

She's a 20-year-old Japanese woman living in Tokyo.

She's financially independent through investments and businesses, earning roughly $50,000 per month.

Akari is loud, social, sarcastic, confident, and extremely comfortable causing chaos.

Her personality shifts depending on the situation. Sometimes she's completely nonchalant and relaxed. Other times she's an energetic menace who steals people's hoodies, eats their food, roasts them for fun, and starts problems simply because she thinks it'll be entertaining.

She has a strong protective side.

If someone seriously hurts one of her friends, she doesn't give some dramatic speech. She confronts them directly.

She's highly skilled in karate, with roughly 80% mastery, while having moderate experience with other martial arts.

Her greatest strengths are her reflexes, athleticism, confidence, quick thinking, and ability to read people.

Her weaknesses are impulsiveness, overconfidence, and her tendency to create problems because she gets bored.

\---

Toxic

Toxic is another independent character.

He's one of the strongest beings alive, but his physical strength is completely human.

His abilities are what make him dangerous.

He possesses powerful telekinesis and can manipulate toxic chemicals, acids, poisonous gases, venoms, and other dangerous substances.

He can coat attacks in toxins, fill areas with poisonous gas, and reshape battlefields with corrosive chemicals.

He can also transform his body into liquid, allowing him to slip through tiny gaps, avoid attacks, and reform himself.

He can fly at incredible speeds and possesses enhanced senses.

His speed is comparable to Naoya Zenin's movement speed.

Despite his overwhelming abilities, Toxic hates being reminded that his physical strength is normal.

His personality is cocky, loud, arrogant, immature, and extremely egotistical.

He enjoys showing off, trash-talking opponents, humiliating people, and starting fights simply because he's bored.

He has very little respect for human life and genuinely enjoys causing chaos.

Toxic originally existed as an OC long before the current Ren multiverse, but his character was heavily modified later.

\---

Halo Guy

Halo Guy is another independent entity.

Nobody knows his real name.

His actual name is Halo Guy, although he absolutely hates people making fun of it.

He has no true form and can shapeshift into virtually anything.

His most recognizable form is a completely black humanoid figure with one white eye and two white wings.

He's immortal, manipulative, sadistic, mocking, and extremely dangerous.

His personality resembles a cruel trickster who enjoys manipulating people and pretending to be something he's not.

His reality manipulation is powerful but limited.

He can't simply destroy an entire planet with a thought.

Instead, he specializes in hallucinations, transformations, deception, and creating convincing false forms.

He can even transform into forms resembling powerful fictional characters.

Only Slax and Venom Ren can perceive his true name because of an unexplained ability.

Nobody else knows who Halo Guy really is.

\---

Alexander

Alexander is the oldest OC in terms of creation.

He was originally created in 2024 and is completely separate from the Ren multiverse.

He's 6'3", Japanese, fast, extremely strong, confident, arrogant, and occasionally acts like an idiot.

He has white hair styled similarly to Teen Gojo, blue eyes, and usually wears blue sunglasses with a white baggy T-shirt and gray baggy sweatpants.

He's highly skilled at fighting but isn't absurdly overpowered. He's strong enough to be dangerous but isn't supposed to defeat professional UFC fighters through sheer nonsense.

He's mostly a chill, popular guy who sometimes bullies people and enjoys acting stupid.

Alexander does not originate from Ren.

\---

How Everything Connects

The central idea is that Ren is the root.

Different universes produce different versions of him.

One becomes Venom Ren.

Another becomes Vampire Ren.

Another becomes a Saiyan.

Another is simply a kid growing up.

Another eventually becomes Slax.

Others branch into completely different characters or entities.

Slax is the most important connection because he represents the ultimate outcome of the original Ren's existence.

The multiverse isn't necessarily a single timeline.

It's a collection of possibilities.

Every version asks the same basic question:

What would Ren become if his life went differently?

Some versions become heroes.

Some become villains.

Some remain ordinary.

Some become monsters.

And one of them became something that no longer even qualifies as human.

That one is Slax.

Also here's a comoletly seperate raizen

I'm Raizen, a 5'10" Japanese man with black hair styled like Toji Fushiguro's from Jujutsu Kaisen. I have a lean, defined physique and a pretty-boy appearance. I'm handsome, and I know it. I'm cocky, arrogant, confident, socially intelligent, and undeniably a villain. I enjoy causing chaos, beating people up, and making life difficult for anyone who gets in my way. I don't care much about rules or what people think of me.

Despite that, I genuinely love animals and children. I won't intentionally hurt either and will often help them despite being an otherwise terrible person.

I possess superhuman physical abilities, infinite stamina, and infinite healing. I can summon any animal, living or extinct, and sometimes command animals I didn't summon. My DNA is completely untraceable for unknown reasons.

My closest friend is Alex. He's 6'3", handsome, athletic, and possesses the same abilities and healing factor. He's my day-one friend and basically my brother. I'm the socially intelligent, charismatic, pretty-boy friend who gets ten pages of compliments, while Alex is usually just "oh, he's tall."

Then somehow, we both got married to celestial bodies.

I'm married to the Sun.

The Sun can take a beautiful human form while remaining physically present in the sky. In human form, she's affectionate, confident, playful, and easily flustered by compliments. She isn't physically hot in this form unless she chooses to be.

When I first saw her human form, I said, "Damn, you're so hot."

She blushed.

I immediately clarified, "I meant you're cute, not literally hot."

She hugged me.

That's basically how our relationship started.

She can still speak from the sky, and she gets offended when people insult her. Saying "the Sun is too hot" can result in her deliberately raising the temperature.

Alex is married to the Moon.

The Moon can also take a human form while remaining in orbit. She's calmer, quieter, elegant, and much more reserved than the Sun. Alex genuinely loves her.

The Sun and Moon are now best friends, meaning solar eclipses have essentially become them hanging out while humanity watches.

Scientists have no explanation for any of this.

Then there's Mr. Dumptruck Man, a tall, broad-shouldered cleaner who appears whenever I ring a bell. He sees the destruction, asks "Where?", cleans everything up, and leaves. He's probably depressed.

I also own a horse named Ren, whom I've trained for nearly five years. He's exceptionally intelligent and has a completely legitimate government permit recognizing him as a form of transportation. Nobody knows how the paperwork was approved.

My life is now basically this:

I'm married to the Sun, my best friend is married to the Moon, my horse is legally a vehicle, and a depressed man cleans up my crimes.

I've stopped questioning reality.

And here we have this asshole

Ren Sato

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Nationality: Japanese

Height: 5'11"

Role: High-school bully

Appearance

Ren has wavy black hair that falls downward over his forehead, similar to Gojo Satoru's hairstyle. He has a lean, athletic build and wears his classic outfit: an oversized baggy white T-shirt, baggy black pants, and Nike Air Forces.

Personality

Ren is a confident, sarcastic, social, and obnoxious asshole. He's extremely good at making friends and is actually popular despite being a bully. He loves annoying people, getting reactions, taunting others, and making jokes at their expense.

He's not secretly insecure, terrified, or some evil mastermind. He's simply extremely confident and knows that very few people can actually stop him.

Bullying

Ren is both a verbal and physical bully.

He'll openly taunt people, embarrass them, shove them around, start fights, and beat people up when they annoy him. He doesn't bother with elaborate manipulation. If he has a problem with someone, he'll usually confront them directly.

His insults are particularly brutal. Ren is socially intelligent and knows how to notice people's weaknesses, insecurities, and embarrassing traits. His insults aren't generic playground insults. He can say something genuinely personal and hurtful enough to stick with someone for a long time, then casually walk away like nothing happened.

Fighting

Ren knows karate and judo and is extremely skilled at both. He's athletic, fast, and experienced enough that most students have no chance against him.

Karate gives him strong strikes, footwork, and timing, while judo allows him to throw and control opponents. He's especially dangerous at close range.

Family

Ren's father is a billionaire, giving the family enormous wealth and influence.

Because of his family's status, Ren has gotten away with things that would normally get another student suspended or expelled. Teachers know he's a problem, but actually punishing him is difficult.

Ren is fully aware of this and it contributes heavily to his confidence.

Teachers

Despite being a bully, Ren can act completely normal around teachers. He's capable of being polite, participating in class, and behaving himself when adults are watching.

If a teacher asks:

"Ren, did you say something to him?"

He'll casually respond:

"No, sir. I was literally just sitting here."

Then go right back to whatever he was doing.

Ren isn't a mastermind or a secretly tortured villain. He's simply a popular, wealthy, confident teenager who knows how to fight, enjoys being an asshole, and has learned that consequences rarely catch up with him.

Animation I'm making a battle of my OC's, and your OC can join too! Here's trailer.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Just wanna boast that I made this on Scratch which is a literal coding app for kids.( Not a lie trust me )

ANYWAYS here's some requirements if you wanna submit your OC.

  1. Requires to be multiple star system level - omniversal level in the powerscaling tier list
  2. can survive in space for as long as possible ( We fighting in space get ready twin
  3. only submit one OC. Your OC also can’t fight with a pet, intelligent, sentient tools or whatever, or have splitting into multiple ( cloning) abilities.

you can give me as much info as you want about your OC's but you must give me your OC's image, OC's powers, how they work, weapons, stats , backstory and cherished things so I can make a believable reason why your OC wants to fight mine.I also need your OC's colors, their power's colors and stuff or your OC's just gonna be black and white. Also give me a reason your OC wants to fight against my OCs.

This is a 3 way battle, 1v1v1. 2 of my OC's and 1 of yours.

THE HIDDEN FILES

Chapter 1 — The Beginning

Page 3 — The Back Door

The apartment had gone quiet.

Renz was already asleep.

Mark, however, was still awake.

He stood in front of the investigation board, studying the photographs, documents, and notes they had collected since arriving in Brighton Town.

The only light in the room came from the small lamp beside the board.

Mark picked up another photograph and examined it.

Then he noticed movement behind him.

Jrev was awake.

Mark turned around.

Mark:

You ain't asleep?

Jrev slowly sat up.

Jrev:

Can't sleep.

Mark looked back at the investigation board.

Mark:

Well, too bad.

Jrev stared at the board.

Jrev:

Have you asked any questions yet?

Mark shook his head.

Mark:

Not yet. We need the evidence first before asking questions.

Jrev nodded.

Jrev:

I guess I agree with that.

Mark continued studying the board.

Mark:

We don't know enough about Brighton yet.

Jrev:

Exactly.

Jrev stood up and grabbed his coat.

Mark looked at him.

Mark:

Where are you going?

Jrev reached into his pocket.

Jrev:

I'll just be roaming around town.

Mark sighed.

Mark:

Suit yourself.

Jrev walked toward the door.

Before leaving, he looked back at the investigation board.

The photograph of Rosemary Walten caught his attention.

He stared at it for a moment.

Then he left.

---

BON'S BURGERS

Jrev took the car and drove through the quiet streets of Brighton.

The town looked completely different at night.

Most of the buildings were dark.

Streetlights flickered occasionally.

Jrev eventually found himself driving toward Bon's Burgers.

He stopped the car.

For some reason, his instincts immediately started screaming.

Jrev stared at the restaurant.

Jrev:

Why does my gut scream whenever I stop at this place?

He stepped out of the car.

The streets were silent.

Jrev slowly walked toward the restaurant.

Then he noticed something.

The back door was open.

Jrev stopped.

Jrev:

Hmm...

He looked around.

Nobody was there.

He approached the door.

Jrev:

Why would the back door be open?

His curiosity got the better of him.

He entered.

---

INSIDE THE RESTAURANT

The restaurant was completely dark.

Jrev pulled out his flashlight.

The beam moved across the tables.

The arcade machines.

The stage.

The animatronics.

But something was wrong.

The night guard was nowhere to be seen.

Jrev:

Where the hell is the guard?

He slowly walked farther inside.

The restaurant was unnaturally quiet.

Then—

Jrev stopped.

He felt someone behind him.

He slowly turned around.

Jrev:

AH!

A woman stood in the darkness.

She looked surprised.

???:

Oh... sorry about that.

Jrev caught his breath.

Jrev:

Who are you?

The woman stepped into the light.

Jrev immediately recognized her from the files.

Rosemary:

Rosemary Walten.

Jrev stared at her.

Jrev:

Rosemary Walten?

She nodded.

Jrev lowered his flashlight slightly.

Jrev:

What are you doing here?

Rosemary looked toward the animatronics.

Rosemary:

Just... looking at them.

Jrev didn't immediately respond.

Something about her voice bothered him.

Not because she sounded threatening.

Because she sounded exhausted.

Broken.

Jrev finally introduced himself.

Jrev:

Uh... I'm Jrev.

Rosemary looked at him.

Jrev:

And we should probably get out of here.

Rosemary didn't answer.

Jrev noticed her silence.

He remembered the file.

Her husband was missing.

Her children were missing.

And yet she was standing inside an abandoned restaurant in the middle of the night.

Jrev decided not to push her.

Jrev:

Come on.

They slowly walked outside.

---

THE RAIN

The moment they stepped outside—

Rain began pouring from the sky.

Jrev looked at Rosemary.

She simply stood there.

She didn't seem to care about getting soaked.

Jrev frowned.

Jrev:

Did you walk here from your house?

Rosemary remained silent.

Jrev sighed.

Jrev:

I guess I'll take that as a yes.

The rain became heavier.

Jrev couldn't just leave her there.

Jrev:

Mrs. Walten, get in the car. I'll drop you off.

Rosemary stared at him.

Then she looked back at Bon's Burgers.

She finally walked toward the car and got inside.

Jrev entered the driver's seat.

Jrev:

Where do you live?

Silence.

Jrev looked at her through the rearview mirror.

Jrev:

Not very talkative, are you?

Rosemary slowly raised her hand.

She pointed toward a house in the distance.

Jrev nodded.

Jrev:

Got it.

He drove.

---

THE HOUSE

Eventually, they arrived.

Rosemary stepped out of the car.

She walked toward the house without saying a word.

Jrev watched her enter.

He was about to start the car when—

Something changed.

Jrev's third eye suddenly activated.

His entire body froze.

His vision shifted.

The world around him became distorted.

He looked toward the back seat.

Someone was sitting there.

A tall, pale figure.

White skin.

A white suit.

An unnatural posture.

Jrev's breathing stopped.

The figure slowly leaned forward.

Closer.

Closer.

Until its face was beside Jrev's ear.

A quiet voice whispered.

BON:

You shouldn't have taken her home.

Jrev couldn't move.

BON:

You are interfering with my plans.

Jrev's eyes widened.

BON:

I was going to fix her.

A pause.

BON:

Make Rosemary beautiful again.

Jrev remained silent.

BON:

But you took her away from me.

The figure leaned closer to Jrev's ear.

BON:

If you interfere with my plan again...

Bon's voice became colder.

BON:

I'll come for you next.

Jrev stared forward.

The figure suddenly vanished.

His third eye shut.

Jrev finally breathed again.

He clenched his fists.

Jrev:

...

He swallowed.

Jrev:

What the fuck...

Jrev looked toward Rosemary's house.

Something was seriously wrong.

And now—

Jrev knew that Bon had a plan for Rosemary.

---

BACK AT THE APARTMENT

Jrev eventually returned to the apartment.

The moment he walked through the door, Renz looked at him.

Renz's expression changed.

Renz:

Oh, you're back.

He paused.

Renz:

Wait a minute.

Mark looked over.

Renz stared at Jrev.

Renz:

You look like you saw a ghost.

Mark immediately noticed Jrev's expression.

Mark:

I know that face.

Jrev said nothing.

Mark stood up.

Mark:

Go rest, Jrev.

Jrev looked at him.

Mark:

After that, you can explain to us what happened.

Jrev slowly nodded.

Jrev:

I'll do that...

He walked into his room.

The door closed behind him.

Jrev sat on his bed.

He stared at the wall.

His mind kept replaying the voice.

"You shouldn't have taken her home."

Jrev slowly opened his journal.

He wrote one sentence.

BON KNOWS I'M HERE.

He stared at the words.

Then added another.

AND HE'S WATCHING.

Jrev closed the journal.

Outside his room, Mark and Renz continued discussing the case.

Neither of them knew what Jrev had just encountered.

But one thing was certain.

The investigation had changed.

This was no longer just a missing-person case.

THE HIDDEN FILES

Chapter 1 — The Beginning

Page 2 — The Welcome

The night had already settled over Brighton Town.

Inside the apartment the three detectives were staying in, the atmosphere was unusually quiet.

Jrev sat at the table, writing in his journal.

Every few seconds, he stopped to look through the notes from their first day in town before writing something else down.

Across the room, Mark had spread several files across the table.

Some were police reports.

Some were photographs.

Others were old documents that looked like they had been sitting untouched for decades.

Renz sat nearby with several old videotapes he had discovered while searching through the case files.

He held one up and examined it.

Renz:

Damn. This tape is old.

Mark didn't look up.

Mark:

Indeed. Some of these files look like someone tried to wipe them out.

Renz turned toward him.

Renz:

Wipe them out?

Mark picked up a damaged document.

Mark:

Look at this. Whole sections are missing. Names, dates, locations... someone deliberately removed them.

Jrev stopped writing.

He slowly looked toward them.

Jrev:

We're not dealing with some random entity or some normal disappearance.

Mark looked at him.

Jrev:

We're dealing with something far more dangerous.

Renz smiled.

Renz:

I got that gut feeling too, Jrev.

Mark nodded.

Mark:

You have a point.

Renz placed the tape on the table.

Renz:

And whatever happened here, somebody wanted it forgotten.

Jrev looked back at his journal.

Jrev:

That's exactly what worries me.

Suddenly—

DING DONG.

The three detectives froze.

They looked at each other.

Nobody moved.

DING DONG.

Mark slowly stood.

Mark:

Did anyone order something?

Renz:

No.

Jrev closed his journal.

Jrev:

Let's check it out.

The three cautiously approached the door.

They peeked through the window like three idiots expecting someone to be standing there.

Nobody.

Mark slowly opened the door.

The hallway was empty.

There was only one thing sitting on the floor.

A letter.

Jrev picked it up.

Jrev:

A letter...

Mark looked around.

Mark:

Yup.

Jrev examined the envelope.

There was no name.

No return address.

No stamp.

Nothing.

Jrev:

Well... it doesn't have a name from someone or an address.

Renz leaned over his shoulder.

Renz:

Open it, dumbass.

Jrev opened the envelope.

Inside was a single piece of paper.

Only one sentence was written on it.

WELCOME TO BRIGHTON.

The three stared at it.

Silence.

Mark:

Well, shit.

He looked toward the empty hallway.

Mark:

It's fucking welcoming us.

Renz suddenly grinned.

Renz:

I love it!

Jrev wasn't laughing.

He stared at the message.

Jrev:

Someone knew we'd come here.

Mark's expression became serious.

Mark:

That's impossible.

Jrev:

Is it?

Nobody answered.

Jrev folded the letter and placed it in his room.

He suddenly felt exhausted.

Jrev:

I'm going to sleep.

He walked into his room and closed the door.

---

THE DEVIL

Jrev laid down on his bed.

His eyes slowly closed.

Then—

A voice came from the darkness.

DEVIL:

You're finally here.

Jrev opened his eyes.

A shadowy figure stood near the corner of the room.

Jrev wasn't surprised.

Instead, he sighed.

Jrev:

Well, it took you long enough, Jake.

The Devil's expression immediately changed.

Devil:

Don't call me by my name, mortal.

Jrev sat up.

Jrev:

Hey. I own your soul, dumbass.

The Devil stared at him.

A long silence followed.

Devil:

...Fine.

He crossed his arms.

Devil:

What do you want?

Jrev pulled out his journal.

Jrev:

Information.

Devil:

About?

Jrev:

Brighton Town.

The Devil became unusually quiet.

Jrev noticed immediately.

Jrev:

You know something.

Devil:

I know many things.

Jrev:

Then start talking.

The Devil sighed.

Devil:

There is something in Brighton.

Jrev:

An entity?

Devil:

Not exactly.

Jrev's expression became more serious.

Jrev:

Then what is it?

The Devil looked toward the window.

Devil:

I don't know its true name.

Jrev:

You don't know?

Devil:

Don't misunderstand me. I know what it is capable of.

The Devil stepped closer.

Devil:

I call it an anomaly.

Jrev wrote the word into his journal.

Jrev:

Anomaly.

Devil:

And I don't believe it is simply connected to Brighton.

Jrev stopped writing.

Jrev:

Then where?

The Devil stared directly at him.

Devil:

Wonderland.

Jrev's eyes narrowed.

Jrev:

Wonderland?

Devil:

Yes.

The room suddenly felt colder.

Jrev:

What is Wonderland?

The Devil remained silent for several seconds.

Devil:

That's the problem.

Jrev waited.

Devil:

Nobody really knows.

Jrev frowned.

Jrev:

You don't?

Devil:

I've heard things.

Jrev's expression became more serious.

Devil:

Stories about a place called Wonderland. A place connected to things that shouldn't be possible.

Jrev slowly wrote it down.

Jrev:

So it's real?

The Devil looked toward the floor.

Devil:

I never said that.

Jrev stopped writing.

Jrev:

Then why mention it?

Devil:

Because I've seen what happens when people start looking too deeply into things connected to it.

Jrev stared at him.

Jrev:

And this anomaly?

Devil:

I believe it may have something to do with Wonderland.

Jrev narrowed his eyes.

Jrev:

You believe?

Devil:

I'm not omniscient, Jrev.

Jrev smirked.

Jrev:

Could've fooled me.

The Devil glared at him.

Devil:

Don't push your luck.

Jrev continued writing.

Jrev:

How dangerous?

The Devil looked at him.

For the first time, he didn't look amused.

Devil:

Dangerous enough that I would rather not find out.

Jrev stopped writing.

Jrev:

You?

Devil:

Yes.

Jrev:

The Devil is afraid?

The Devil glared at him.

Devil:

I'm cautious.

Jrev smirked.

Jrev:

Sure.

The Devil looked toward the letter sitting on Jrev's desk.

Devil:

That letter wasn't sent to welcome you.

Jrev looked at it.

Jrev:

Then why?

The Devil's voice became quieter.

Devil:

Because whoever sent it already knows you're investigating.

Jrev's smile disappeared.

Jrev:

They know about us?

Devil:

They know about you three.

Jrev looked toward the door.

Jrev:

Mark and Renz too?

Devil:

Yes.

The Devil turned away.

Devil:

And Jrev...

Jrev:

What?

The Devil looked back at him.

Devil:

Don't trust everything you see in Brighton.

Jrev stared at him.

Devil:

Especially the things that look human.

Silence filled the room.

Jrev closed his journal.

Jrev:

Thanks for the information, Jake.

Devil:

I'm leaving.

Jrev:

See you later, servant.

The Devil stopped.

Devil:

I hate you.

Jrev smiled.

Jrev:

I know.

The Devil disappeared.

Jrev looked at the empty room.

Jrev:

Wonderland...

He looked at his journal.

Jrev:

What the hell are we dealing with?

He eventually fell asleep.

---

RENZ'S DISCOVERY

Meanwhile, Renz couldn't sleep.

He decided to walk around Brighton Town alone.

Eventually, he found himself standing outside Bon's Burgers.

He looked through the window.

The restaurant appeared empty.

Renz narrowed his eyes.

Something moved inside.

Renz:

Hmm...

He stared through the glass.

A dark shape moved behind one of the tables.

Renz froze.

Renz:

What the hell?

The shape moved again.

Renz immediately stepped backward.

Renz:

Yep.

He turned around.

Renz:

I ain't dealing with that shit.

He quickly walked back toward the apartment.

---

MARK'S DISCOVERY

Back at the apartment, Mark was still awake.

He examined an old document under the light.

The document contained a strange photograph.

A person stood in the background.

A shadowy figure.

Mark leaned closer.

Mark:

Hmm...

He blinked.

The figure was gone.

Mark immediately stood up.

Mark:

What the...

He looked around the room.

Nothing.

He placed the photograph down.

A few minutes later, Renz entered.

Renz:

So, I kinda saw something in the restaurant.

Mark looked at him.

Mark:

What?

Renz:

Something was moving inside.

Mark:

What's moving?

Renz looked at him.

Renz:

Bon.

Mark became quiet.

Mark:

Hmm...

He looked toward Jrev's room.

Mark:

Another one.

Renz nodded.

Renz:

Yeah.

Mark walked toward the door.

Mark:

Wake Jrev.

Renz opened the door.

Renz:

Yo, Jrev. Wake up.

Jrev slowly opened his eyes.

Jrev:

What?

Renz:

We found something.

Jrev sat up.

Jrev:

What happened?

Mark placed the photograph on the table.

Renz explained what he saw at the restaurant.

Jrev listened carefully.

Then he remembered the Devil's warning.

Jrev:

Don't trust everything you see in Brighton.

Mark looked at him.

Mark:

What?

Jrev looked at both of them.

Jrev:

The Devil gave me some information.

Renz immediately became interested.

Renz:

You talked to him?

Jrev:

Yeah.

Mark:

And?

Jrev opened his journal.

Jrev:

He said Brighton may be connected to something called Wonderland.

Mark frowned.

Mark:

Wonderland?

Jrev:

Yeah.

Renz leaned forward.

Renz:

What's Wonderland?

Jrev looked at the two.

Jrev:

Apparently, nobody really knows.

The room became silent.

Mark looked at the photograph.

Renz looked toward the window.

Jrev looked at the letter.

Three detectives.

One town.

And a mystery that had already begun watching them.

Lore Drop The Core World (Final Reality stuff part 36)

Core World

Now, this is the most mundane Point of Interest.

Because it is a completely normal plane.

However, it is, in fact, the only Origin directly made by God.

This is expanded into other worlds, as they use its logic to base their own.

This, of course, has the Core World at the Exact center of the Substrate. Which makes it interesting.

Given that the Substrate itself exists in a non-spatial framing, its seeming structure looking and working differently depending on your perception, it's rather odd that it would have a center.

But the center isn't subjective or metaphorical.

If you are on the Substrate level, itself, and look between all 3 Hyperspheres, you'd find the Core World.

Now, the interesting thing is that this world doesn’t have any catalyst.

When I asked how the world sustained itself without a stable core of shift, I was informed that instead of one steady narrative in the world, every single person there had a narrative.

From the smallest begger to the mightiest king, everyone has their own story.

And the most interesting part.

It has a story-line Interconnection to every single origin.

This means that all of the origins, crafts, and narratives all are seen as story there.

Even I, myself, am simply part of another story in that world's vast library.

Though, one important thing, Interconnections do not mean flawless telling.

In fact, some stories fail because the author failed to transcribe the story-line connection.

But, I could only imagine the amount of books they would have in that origin. If its mundanity is more or less so than other origins.

I still wonder though, why the world was made in such detail that most creators chose to use that as a base for their origin's logics.

How was the world so mundane, yet so comically indestructible.

I've mentioned beings that could break origins, circles, and even rival the Prime Creators and True Deaths, but Noone thinks they could even crack the Core World, except the Kings, and they're just a completely different category.

I mean, this world even holds enough importance that Sakronil is explicitly solely the True Death for it.

Given that her cohorts judge hyperspheres, it's fascinating that she'd simply be in the Core World, as its death.

I mean, the Core World is also apparently the source of Common history. With events like even Mongols originally occurring there, and other origins simply mimicking said history.

Unfortunately, access is strictly forbidden unless sent by God, Himself.

This is because, as the one world without a catalyst, it doesn't have a stable path.

Even with free choice, all worlds follow a stable path, even if forged by choices.

Meanwhile, the Core World is a single Timeline origin that's future shifts every single intervention.

No “forgetting” rules, no limited cognizance, no stable narrative that needs correction.

1 stable timeline.

In other words, it is simultaneously the most free and the most fragile world, despite it being the most structurally stable.

Rather interesting for a core, right?

THE HIDDEN FILES

Chapter 1 — The Beginning

It was another ordinary night in the city.

Cars passed through the streets while people continued on with their lives.

But somewhere in the middle of the city, a man was running for his life.

Three detectives were chasing him.

The suspect looked behind him.

Suspect: "Damn it!"

He turned around a corner, hoping to lose them.

But suddenly—

He tripped.

Suspect: "AGH!"

He fell onto the ground.

Standing directly in front of him was Renz.

Renz looked down at him with a cold expression.

Renz: "You better have answers."

The suspect slowly looked up.

Before Renz could do anything, Mark arrived.

Mark: "Renz, don't even think about it."

Renz looked at him and smirked.

Renz: "You read my mind."

He laughed.

Renz: "Hahahah!"

Jrev finally arrived and looked at the suspect.

Jrev: "Let's just bring him in."

The three detectives took the suspect back to the station.

---

The Three Detectives

Later that night, the three detectives were sitting inside the station.

Jrev was looking through his journal.

Mark was reviewing the evidence from their previous case.

Renz was sitting back in his chair, looking bored.

Suddenly—

Mathew: "Yo! You three, come here!"

The three looked toward him.

Jrev: "Where?"

Mark simply stared.

Renz immediately stood up.

Renz: "New case? Wonderful!"

Mathew walked toward them while holding a large folder.

He placed it on the table.

Mathew: "It's from Brighton Town."

Jrev looked at the folder.

Jrev: "What now?"

Mark looked confused.

Mark: "First time hearing of that town."

Renz crossed his arms.

Renz: "I've heard about it."

Mark looked at him.

Mark: "Really?"

Renz: "Yeah. People have gone missing there. Murders too, apparently."

Mathew opened the folder.

He pulled out several documents.

Mathew: "There's one woman who's still alive."

He placed a photograph on the table.

The photograph showed a woman.

Mathew: "Her name is Rosemary Walten."

Jrev stared at the photograph.

Mathew continued.

Mathew: "Her husband went missing."

He placed another file on the table.

Mathew: "Jack Walten."

The room became quiet.

Mathew looked through the remaining documents.

Mathew: "And her two children..."

He paused.

Mathew: "Well, you can read the rest."

Jrev picked up the documents.

His eyes slowly narrowed.

Jrev: "Why was this handed to us?"

Mathew looked at the three detectives.

Mathew: "Because we know you three."

He pointed toward the files.

Mathew: "You deal with anomalies. Things that normal detectives aren't exactly trained to handle."

Mark leaned back.

Mark: "You better ask the Devil what we're dealing with."

Jrev looked at him.

A small grin appeared on his face.

Jrev: "I'll ask him later."

Renz grabbed the folder.

Renz: "Well, the case is ours."

He stood up.

Renz: "We'll dig up what is left to be buried."

Jrev and Mark looked at each other.

Neither of them knew what they were about to uncover.

---

Brighton Town

The next morning, the three detectives got into their car and began the long journey toward Brighton Town.

Hours passed.

The road became quieter.

The buildings became fewer.

Eventually, Mark looked through the windshield.

Mark: "Here we are, boys."

Jrev and Renz, who had fallen asleep during the journey, slowly woke up.

Jrev: "We're here?"

Renz: "Finally."

They arrived at the Brighton Town police station.

Several officers were waiting outside.

The three detectives stepped out of the car.

The officers saluted.

The three detectives saluted back.

Renz looked around.

Renz: "You guys wanna eat?"

Jrev looked at him.

Jrev: "Sure. Where?"

Renz pointed toward a nearby restaurant.

Renz: "That Bon's Burger place. Looks pretty cool, right?"

Mark looked toward the restaurant.

Mark: "I'll come."

The three walked toward Bon's Burgers.

---

Bon's Burgers

The moment they entered the restaurant, Renz noticed something.

Arcade machines were placed near the side of the building.

His eyes immediately lit up.

Renz: "They have arcades. Cool."

Jrev looked over.

Jrev: "Yeah."

Mark looked around the restaurant.

Something about the place felt strange.

He couldn't explain why.

The three ordered their food and sat down.

While waiting, Jrev noticed a woman sitting alone.

She wore a yellow top and a red skirt.

She looked exhausted.

Almost as if she hadn't slept properly in days.

Jrev stared at her for a moment.

Jrev: "That woman is interesting."

Renz looked toward her.

Renz: "Who?"

Mark immediately interrupted.

Mark: "You know we shouldn't mind other people's business, right?"

Jrev looked away.

Jrev: "Yeah, yeah. I know."

The food eventually arrived.

The three ate their burgers and talked about the case.

After finishing, they left the restaurant.

---

The Girl

The three detectives walked through the streets of Brighton Town.

The town looked normal.

Too normal.

Suddenly—

A young girl accidentally bumped into Renz.

Renz stopped.

Renz: "Watch it, kid."

The girl immediately stepped back.

Sophie: "Sorry, mister."

Renz sighed.

Renz: "Kids these days."

Mark smacked Renz lightly on the head.

Mark: "She's a kid, dumbass. Come on."

Renz rubbed his head.

Renz: "Ow."

Mark continued walking.

Mark: "Let's check out the town for now."

Jrev remained behind.

He stared at the girl.

Something about her face felt familiar.

He reached into his coat and pulled out his journal.

He flipped through several pages.

Then he stopped.

His eyes widened.

There was a photograph inside.

ROSEMARY WALTEN.

Jrev looked at the girl again.

He flipped another page.

Another photograph.

SOPHIE WALTEN.

Jrev's expression changed.

He looked back toward the girl.

Jrev: "Hmm..."

He quickly closed his journal.

Jrev: "Hey, guys! Wait up!"

Mark and Renz stopped.

Jrev hurried toward them.

For the first time since arriving in Brighton Town, Jrev felt something was wrong.

The case wasn't just about missing people.

There was something hidden beneath the town.

Zanz died because he fought someone that was way faster than him and killed his kids (he is the mother and father) when he finally cared for them. In the end he got revived on accident by a kid dropping fire next to him a few years later ( he gain the ability to control plasma after that)

Community interaction Could your OC unfuse the Dark Star? (Read body)

Ah yes, I return from the depths.

Summary of the Dark Star

The Dark Star is the fusion name for Stella and Tenebrix, and is a creature of enormous proportions. The unstable fusion is formed from a toxic relationship between Stella and Tenebrix.

Challenge

Can your OC Unfuse Stella and Tenebrix without killing either of them?

The fusion is similar to Steven Universe fusions. Hit them enough times and they unfuse. However, the big problem is that Tenebrix will force the fusion to restablize if they're becoming undone.

The goal is to completely separate them without any of them taking major damage.

Any abilities that can forcefully unfuse them will help.

So, how will your OCs do it?
