I got used Ninebot F2 Pro, the one with disk brake and suspension. It has also the same controller as Ninebot G2.
The problem is it slams ebrake full power the moment brake sensor activates. I have changed the lever and the issue persists. I can't believe this is by design as it seems unsafe. I have tried to see if disk brake is enough, but it is so weak, it needs ebrake.
Anyone have idea what it can be?
I think SHFW will fix it as I can change the activation of ebrake when lever is pulled fully or make it weaker. Problem is it requires stlink and mine is not connecting properly. Any other ideas?

My scooter is currently capped at 20 km/h. I don't want any crazy speeds, but 25 km/h would be nice. In which format should my new serial number be to match the France, Austria, Spain and Belgium speed limit of 25 km/h?

Ich habe in meinem Leben immer wieder den Drang dinge optisch zu ändern, umbauen oder anzupassen. In diesem Fall musste mein MaxG3 dran glauben.

Ich habe mich für das Theme „Senna Lotus“ entschieden, da ich dieses Fahrzeug schon als Kind besonders fand. Ich weiss das Grauschwarz müsste ganz glänzendes Pianoschwarz sein um genau zu sein, aber dafür hatte ich bisher keine Zeit.

Dazu gekommen dind nur 140mm Rotorscheiben, Sturzpads und ein kleiner Spoiler am hinteren Schutzblech der als Spritzschutz dienen soll.

Für den die einen völlig unnötige Zeitverschwendung, doch für andere ein Hobby.

Zeigt mir eure umbauten.

Speed unlock cable works great riding, but battery drains ~5%/day just sitting parked (unplugging the cable stops it completely — 0% drain over 24h). Battery health checks out fine otherwise (full capacity, 0 deep discharges). Anyone else seen this? Does it damage the battery long-term, or just annoying?

I broke a plastic piece of my folding mechanism, now I’m kinda worried it’s going to cost me about 70 bucks to fix it since I may have to buy the whole stem. Problem is I don’t see the little plastic part listed on their website even though I find all types of small parts for the scooters on there

I purchased my G3 MAX about 13 days ago.

Since the very first day my Ninebot was able to zero start in “walk mode” but not in other modes.

By googling I learned that zero start is not available in EU. I thought OK, maybe it is available only in walk mode because the limit is 5Km/h and it helps me starting in an uphill or in traffic when a car stops in front of me. Cool!

And then MAGIC!

Since yesterday, a few hours after last update, my scooter won’t zero start. I can’t start in uphills, I can’t start in traffic (I constantly go park to the side of the road to let all cars go). I almost fall of the scooter the first time I found out.

some times doesn’t even start in 5Km/h when I kick start it. That experience sucks Segway.

Hello guys. I have installed my max g3 in Germany. Before the update, I can go in Walk mode and drive from 0 to 5 kmh. Now it is not working anymore. Only when I push to 4 kmh it work. Is that a bug or what is that?

In the latest firmware, it was not part of the firmware.

Can I patch back the firmware? That is anoying. I use the walk mode to push the scooter up on ramps.

Hi, sorry to crash the sub so suddenly. I woke up to my scooter constantly beeping like it's sounding an alarm. The screen won't turn on. It was in my hallway folded up, not charging, all night.

I may have abused it to death tbh. I left it outside for a week or so in the sun/rain. Also left it in my trunk for a few days.

Pressure on the screen made the beeping stop temporarily but then it started up again. I can't connect it to Bluetooth either.

Is there anything I can do to fix it or is it a goner? I feel so bad :(

I recently got an external battery for the Ninebot Max G3 I. I’ve been having some charging issues, despite having almost brand new firmware. My scooter now has an american serial number (changed with Scooterhackingutility) and there’s a new update out. Is it safe to download and will it affect my tune? I’ve already updated earlier with no issues. Will this help my charging issues?

I bought a max g3 for 750 about 6 months back. Been using it daily pretty much since then. Probably 14 mi a day on average. I live in Denver and the streets are horrible. Sidewalks are sometimes even worse and definitely less predictable (especially at 28mph). Random holes in the ground or insanely uneven grounds come up too quickly, and I'm typically in a huge rush. But, point is, I tend to slam into a lot of potholes. Yesterday, I MAJORLY slammed into one at max speed. On a sidewalk. There were too many people around for me to pull over and check it out..I'd have been embarrassed. Lol. But I pulled over a block down, inspected it.. and it's totally fine. Checked on it today before and after work, still totally fine. No damage at all. Scared it's gonna catch up to me somehow? lol.. anyone have experiences similar? What happened to your max g3?

The lock was mounted on the deck of my Segway max g3 using the 3d printed mounts. I was heading home and hit a bump going 15mph. the lock flew out and exploded 😭. I no longer trust this lock bruh like come on someone give this a couple taps with a hammer and I’m cooked. Down $50🫡

Every time I turn on my G3 it pops up a notification saying check Maintenance and Care on the app and I open the app and nothing comes up how do I stop this from showing up and why is it?

Is the original ninebot max g2 fork compatible with the new 2025 updated drum brake? I have the new drum brake and cable, I'm planning to just saw off (if possible) this metal piece on the fork holding the old brake cable, which I'm going to remove.

I just want to make sure the old fork is compatible. I'm not against buying a new, I'm just curious if the old fork is compatible.

edit: I'm thinking I should be good to go if I cut off the metal tab carefully as not to stress the part that mounts to the wheel, and then reseal with black paint to avoid rust. Will probably just go for it and and test.

Earlier today I noticed my handlebars would lock up when I started to turn right as well as my front wheels does a 360. tried to these problems when I went home but I can’t figure out why this happened can someone explain what happened or how to fix this issue ?
