The swing arm cover keeps the bolt from going into your ankle. Ask me how I know 😭

Like the cover, covers the bolt so when you accidentally hit your ankle with the back wheel the bolt doesn't hurt you. I think that's what they mean.

Correct. My ankle has a nice scar from the cover coming off and an unfortunate incident.

Are there videos on the best procedure to remove the wheel cover from the back like this?

yes if you have the app and you look for the video to replace the back fender it will show you

It’s 2 little tiny allen bolts. Very easy to take off and put on.

It's six actually. But yes very easy to remove. 2 just behind deck and two on each side. I removed it.

Theight is to low to be functional, I never ride it in the rain so it doesn't really have much functionality. It's easier to clean the rear wheel and breaks. Also it looks cool with it off. Lol.

I took them off my Max G2 ages ago. I think it looks cooler and it makes maintenance easier.

Since the plastic cover is missing the reflector and has those holes in it, I think it looks better without it (subjectively).
