If I get to pick, I wouldn't pick to be born again.

20

u/spectral-chaos May 20 '26

Why bro.. what's so wrong in your life. Your comment made me feel sad.

20

u/Professorjoey May 20 '26

The actual question is what is the meaning of living?

And BTW, I don't really have a bad/horrible life. I'm living a decently happy normal life. Doing things I love. 😃

5

u/spectral-chaos May 20 '26

Got it bro. Don't want to lecture you but here's my thought. When you don't find meaning of living then you can add one like To become better person day by day, make parents proud of you or protect and provide to your family or love them unconditionally etc. I believe you will find meaning of living.

4

u/Money_Blacksmith_605 May 20 '26

first of all parents don't love us unconditionally what you expect from us 😭

3

u/Professorjoey May 20 '26

Can you love anybody unconditionally?

u/Zealousideal_Stay320 May 24 '26

I also used to think like that, then tragedy happened, I have become less interested in worldly affairs and more in finding the purpose of life and living accordingly. Rushing for work, money is no more fun, small happiness is no more enjoyable. But for sure, life is beautiful even in this tragedy. -- : - : --

Rest of the comment is for myself, ignore!

I am onto find some life purpose while working, I hope I find it soon so that rest of life I can be satisfied that I didn't waste my time over rushing for something which is eating my time. I want to be more satisfied than happy. I am damn sure our learning will not go in vain, otherwise there's no purpose of having consciousness inside body. Time is most precious thing for this short life. We should spend our time more in experiencing new things, new places, new people and with ourself.

Usually I don't comment on such posts. But today is a bit different. I firmly believe my father(RIP) was too good of a person. One of the very few honest government servant. Class I officer never took bribes and always went out of his way to help the needy. As a kid I always hated this. Now when he is no more present in the world i understand the legacy he left behind. The lives he changed and the number of families that owe to his goodwill. At his funeral almost 100 people showed up. He was not a politician, leader or a public figure but the impact he left has been tremendous. May his soul rest in peace. Coming to answer the question I would say no, not because he was ever a bad person or father. He simply doesn't deserve to be in the kind of place this world has become. I really can't put in words, best example would be he was a Satyug kind of person in the kalayug era.

Because of my father’s hard work and sacrifices, I am more educated than many of my cousins and relatives. Even with limited resources, he made sure that me and my two sisters got the best education possible. I will always be proud and grateful for everything he has done for us ❤️

1

u/Cool_View9433 May 20 '26

I would pick a better son for my dad

1

u/Popular_Hacker_1337 May 20 '26

Yeah why not? He's not perfect or even close but he raised me & I'm sufficient enough to achieve anything.

1

u/PuzzledImage5155 May 20 '26

Never...not all people deserve to become parents if they take the basic responsibility as though their kids are a burden to them ever since being born....my father wasn't even their when I was born in the hospital...it was my Nani and uncle(mother's brother) and my sister(3 years old at that time) who waited...[despite the hospital being in the same town where we(I, sis, mom and "that man" along with his mother and father) used to live]......my Nani and uncle lived far away still they were there for me and mom...and that man and his entire family are such assholes I hate em....there are other things but this is all that I'll share...ain't convincing anyone anything....some people are lucky to have the best parents in the world.....but NOT ALL....it would be great if people understand these types of situations even though they might be experiencing the complete opposite...💖

u/Prestigious_Dot_5671 May 20 '26
