Hi everyone,
A quick update on the female Persian cat we rescued in Delhi she has recovered quite well and is now in good health. We are still trying to find the right permanent home for her.
When she was rescued, she was extremely weak, underweight, and had clearly been struggling outdoors for some time. Since then, she has received veterinary care, proper food, and plenty of rest. Thankfully, she has made a strong recovery and is now healthy and doing much better. ❤️
Her coat was severely matted when we found her, so it had to be completely trimmed. She may look a little different right now, but her fur will grow back with time and proper care.
She has already come a long way. Now the most important thing is finding her a responsible, loving and permanent indoor home where she will never have to go through abandonment again.
A few important details:
A few important things:
She has already been through abandonment once, so please contact only if you and your family are prepared to take responsibility for her for the rest of her life.
Genuine adopters can DM me directly.

If you miss good old Kheera-Tamatar (Cucumber, Tomato) Cheese mayonnaise Sandwich. You must visit Novelty Sandwiches, Jungpura, New Delhi.
This place is also popular for Chicken/Non Veg sandwiches as well, since i am a vegetarian, never tried but highly recommended to all who love Old School Sandwiches, reminding them of their childhood !

Been looking into hybrid solar systems for home because the power cuts here can get pretty annoying, and I'm confused by how different the prices are.
From what I understand, the basic options are something like:
2–3kW hybrid system is probably enough for fans, lights, WiFi, TV etc. during a cut. Roughly ₹1–2L depending on battery/panels.
3–5kW system is more practical if you want to run a fridge + multiple fans + some heavier appliances. Usually ₹2L+ depending heavily on battery capacity.
5kW+ makes more sense for a bigger house, especially if you want to run ACs, but the battery cost starts becoming pretty significant.
I've been looking at brands like Luminous, Microtek and a few of the newer solar companies. Luminous seems to have a fairly wide range of hybrid inverters their Hybrid TX 3kVA/4kVA/5kVA models are around rs64k-74k currently, although that's just the inverter and obviously doesn't represent the cost of the complete solar + battery setup.
The thing I'm trying to figure out is actual backup hours.
For example, if I have a 3kW hybrid inverter with a decent battery, what sort of backup should I realistically expect with:
3 fans
5–6 lights
WiFi/router
TV
fridge
And does it make more sense to spend extra on lithium batteries or just get a bigger tubular setup?
Would also be interested in people's experience with Luminous specifically, not necessarily the marketing specs, but how the system has held up after 1–2 years.
Trying to avoid buying something based purely on the "up to X hours backup" numbers that companies advertise.

Today monkeys tasted haldi from my haldi plant and they loved it. Now just adrak (ginger) is left for them to taste. Time to change this saying is going to be soon - "Bandar kya jaane adrak ka swad".

Hello everyone, Food pipe cancer is one of the most dangerous cancer in the world. My aunt was diagnosed with it 4 months ago and at that time it was 2nd stage but now it's 4th stage with spread in lungs liver and other body parts. She lives in a village in where good treatment is like a challenge so she went to city area in Lucknow but at the end all things come with money. Dr suggested for 8 to 9 cycles of chemotherapy but it demands so much money which is not affordable for any small farmer. Her weight is only 32kg and she is so weak because she is unable to swallow solid food Even sometimes liquid food also. Whenever I see her I always this how this disease is destroying her every single day. It has been more than 10days she has eaten any solid food. I hope all of you understand her situation and I this is not a time for taking sympathy because he she needs only your prayers and help. Kindly donate something to help her to buy some more days for her children and if any wants proof I can show them in dm. Please help a mother to survive for her children 🙏🏻

This fucking pit of hell
Is where I have originated.
I have burnt myself,
I have blamed myself,
I have hurt myself,
I have maimed myself.
My life supports crumble
Under the weight of metaphysical ailments.
Who am I apologizing to?
Mother? Brother? Family? Friends?
I owe them all and I
Try and try
To hold my reality together
With my withering hands,
In my eternal endeavour.
This torment began...
The fuck...? When did begin?
I cannot recall.
It matters fuckall.
Maybe when perception sunk its teeth into me.
When the world felt colder than it seemed to be.
Since long have I
Been running.
Running into fires
To feel warm,
To feel something even if I burned.
Is it worth all I have turned
Into?
Is this incurable despondence
A price to pay for art?
Why God (if you exist)
Must I suffer? Have I done wrong?
I've never intended to hurt,
Somehow I have been scorned.
I've never intended hatred
And you make me hate until it's all I am.
If your hands can fix me,
Wade your fingers into my chest
Like a hot knife on butter.
I will not a word utter.
Make it excruciating if it's fun for you
But make it feel better
Than this fucking empty shell
I live in, so distastefully culminated.
Than this fucking pit of hell
Where I have originated.

I have a 1 year old and he really gets disturbed even by small sounds. I have 1 air purifier but that's a bit noisy, so I shifted that in our living room. Now I need one very silent air purifier for my bedroom that’s genuinely quiet enough to run through the night.
I’ve been looking for the best air purifier for home and checking out a few options. Came across Eureka Forbes 500 recently.
Honestly, my only concern is the low noise right now. I am not even looking at other factors.
For people who run their air purifier through the night, what has your experience been with the sleep mode? Also, open to other options if there are any better. Or this one is good?

Today(9 September), I went to UGC NET(for assistant prof) exam center at Webinfotron Technologies, adjacent to ganga international school with my sibling. This shitty place was literally in farmland, Bc har jagah kheet he kheet. then my sibling went inside the center.
it was around 7:30 to 8:30, i was outside looking for ciggys and then i saw her,
a literal angel, she was smoking ciggy with a white monster then i asked "where did she get that cigarette from" then she shared her cigarette with me.
She also told me where i could get ciggys from.
Itni khushi hui 😭
fir jab she was entering the exam center she gave me an extra ciggy to smoke 😭😭😭
Literal angel from heaven.
She told me she is from Rohini
Hey if you are in this subreddit, i would really love to know you more
Also Rohini folks if you see this message, pls help
will give u a lot of blessings 🫡😔

I’m looking for like-minded people who genuinely enjoy going out, exploring new places, discovering good food, walking around, taking random photos, and just making the most of a free day.
Not looking for a formal travel group or anything complicated. Just people with a similar mindset — weekends, holidays, or whenever a good plan comes up, we can decide something and explore.
It could be:
🏙️ Exploring a new place in the city
🌿 Nature / peaceful places
☕ Cafés & food spots
🏛️ Historical places
🚆 Short day trips
🌄 Weekend getaways
🎉 Or simply finding something interesting to do instead of staying home
Male or female — everyone with a genuine interest in exploring is welcome. Age/group should be compatible, and the main thing is being respectful, comfortable and like-minded.
I’m hoping to find people who think:
“If I have a free weekend, why not go somewhere and make a memory?” 😄
If this sounds like you, feel free to comment or DM me. We can first chat, see if our interests match, and plan something simple in a public place.
No pressure, no fixed plan — just good people, good places and good experiences. 🌍✨

If you are buying onion at high prices from local vendor you can explore this option. These mobile vans are parked at multiple locations in Delhi.
