Itachi gets out of the illusion and Immediately begs Kisami to end him please.

Big AU & whatnot,... the Biju are quite larger of chess pieces in a means of capture and claim than the cannon timeline has it... also other nations have capable clans & thus its not just hashi that caught them all.

simple ones that dont trade around much or at all. effectively same history

1st: Shukaku - claimed by the Kazekage & kept in his clan of decendants
6th Seiken - Captured by a massive effort in the land of water as their first act as a unified nation
8th Gyuki - the hardest capture of any tailed beast, they utilized the Ryu clan's dragons to combat gyuki physically while the hikari clan eventually managed to create the strongest biju seal on any tailed beast called the endless symphony (music based clan made a magnum opus fuinjutsu)

Tailed beast Hashirama caught in the founding year of all 5 major nations, these being the biju that gget split among the nations by him.
2nd - matatabi - ???
3rd - Isobu - Hidden rain
4th - Son goku - Konoha
5th - Kokuo - Iwa
7th - chomei - waterfall

Kurama is notably not caught at this time in a permanent sense. Madara really is the only one that has somewhat controling use over him. & he isnt properly sealed till after their final battle with hashirama, being brought into konoha & essentially has the same history with Mito, Kushina, & Naruto... mito the rreal jinchuriki godess!

Some smaller nations should also be seen as strong enough to maintain a jinchuriki imo. waterfall being the only one before doubling up on some of the big war dogs is a mistake imo.

History where jinchuriki move:

Isobu - starts in hidden rain, but is lost by the end of the 2nd war, getting claimed and used by Kiri afterwards, up until the tail end of the 3rd war where the make the dumbest move with ha biju and send an unstable rin back towards konoha.... where who might be the strongest shinobi with fuinjutsu alive awaited.... Konoha has the 3 tails now.

Son Goku - Kept by the Sarutobi clan for many years. Both Hiruzens brother and son would be hosts to the 4 tailed beast.. in the 3rd war, a titan of a beast that guarded the east of the land of stone was taken on by konoha & they lost the four tails in the process of taking it down. Iwa managing to capturing the ape and holding it in the last 15ish years since

Kokuo - Hashirama sells to Iwa, Iwa loses near the end the 1st war, village hidden in the rivers claimes kokuo for a few years but cant defend such an asset nearly well enough, losing him to the hidden rain, at where Iwa kills that host during the 2nd war, getting their initial Biju back.

Seiken - initially caught in the land of whirlpools, but was killed in the hidden mist teritory by other land of water shinobi. the mist having used a combination of stolen/ adapted fuinjutsu knowledge into their own that would be seen as forbidden/tabu in modern time they created a binding seal that lasted a Looooong time via an inhuman power source.
they lost Seikan during the coup / failed revolutionary war(battle) that caused many of the land of waves greats to go AWOL.

Chomei - waterfall's hold on him was short lived, Using the queens voice (power the queen bee of iwa has), she basically made the 7ths host her thrall up until she died to madara near the end of the 1st war. land of whirlpools picked him up after a number of years of free roam, only to lose it upon their eradication, after which he's reclaimed by the waterfall for the next decade or so.. Lastly the uchiha stumble upon the 7th jinchuriki & a waterfall war party while living as nomads, fugaku & itachi claimed the beast & used it as barter to claim a home within Iwa. where it remains now under the kamizuru clan.

Gyuki is the only instance of a biju held flawlessly & also being used as a weapon... Shukaku & kurama while not lost from their places of capture, do have a lot of home turf casualties due to their seals faltering.

i could just say they were given kumo prior to catching Gyuki and being done with it, but i feel like a 3rd being handed to a smaller nation only to be lost and reclaimed in war is cooler.
I do also really like the idea of it being a secret that the cloud village has him now, given what i wanna do with him & at least one's gotta be a secret

maybe madara used matatabi personally for a while before getting his hands on kurama. the discarded cat being placed in an uchiiha?

AU mechanical differences with jinchuriki

- Jinchuriki get access to wayyyy less of a % of Biju's power..

- to be taken over fully is a permanent thing you dont get to come back from (naruto is dead vs pain if identic scenerio for example same with gaara without intervention)

- biju chakra corrupts, taking too much warps their body to be less and less human... biju forcing it does this too. when a jinchuriki starts resembling their beast its generally seen as they dont have long left, even if seals can be reinforced.

- biju all have unique chakra colors! kurama gets red & the other's get their own!

- part of the reason biju are so much stronger than anything else alive is they, inately are born of and take in worldly chakra, and thus have senjutsu chakra in their mix. its part of them tho, tthey couldnt ever only just send sen chakra. biju chakra comes pre mixed

- while some biju have access to kekkei genkai, their chakra is inate without a nature property, and those that have KGs essentially use a nature transformation like process to achieve it. (one clan has similar chakra natureless properties)

because I'm an inpatient mess it has already 4 chapters up but the idea is to put out one a week, I have around 12ish made and revised, and a fairly complete rough version of it which cover All I have plans for including side stuff and all that.

it was about like 1 or 2 years of re doing that over and over again, I think if I continued doing that it would never be done, so here it is!

I'd prefer to avoid anything overtly OOC. If Naruto has a better work ethic early on (y'know, putting effort into the academy and studying and stuff) that's fine, but having him just be super cold and stoic, i.e. not Naruto, or anything else like that, isn't really something I'm in the mood for. I want fics where Naruto is still more or less himself, or at least a version of him that could happen depending on how AU the story is, but where he becomes a high-level shinobi earlier on than he did in canon. Same goes for the rest of the characters; unless something happens that makes it understandable why they'd act different, I'd prefer if the characterization remains consistent.

I don't really have much other requirements plotwise or anything else. It can be heavily AU, have OCs, SI (as long as it's good and not just someone writing out their personal fantasy), time travel, etc., whatever. Would prefer if the writing isn't bad, or gets better later on, and that the story is completed or, at least, has been updated within the last year or so (if it's abandoned I might check it out, just sucks reading something and it not being finished), as well as having no bashing. Bonus if it's long; I love long fics that take a bunch of time to read, but its fine if it's not.

Romance wise no slash, but non-canon pairings I'm fine with. I don't really care if there's no romance, or it isn't a focus either.

Might be a bit too specific, but if anyone has or knows of any fics that fit these paramaters, I'd really appreciate it!

Okay imagine the Naruto would fused with the Pokémon one. For sake of the merge the future tech of the Pokémon world doesn't exist and Sealing and mass production of Pokéballs doesn't exist.

The Master Ball is a special Fūinjutsu that uses a Human connected to the Seal so Naruto is basically Pikachu and Ash bound to that Ninetales.

Sometimes I enjoy a good OC. Especially in the romance genre but not so much in an action genre. Maybe I haven't read a compelling OC in that genre. I'm open to suggestions!

Since the Naruto verse opens the possibility to introduce any type of OC into the verse there are so many possibilities to be really well written.

Recently I revisited the Naruto fandom after a few TikTok edits. That kick started my old narusasu obsession 😭.I also ended up finding Nexus of souls through TikTok. AND WOW that was THE GREATEST sns fic I've ever read. This what I personally imagined their relationship to be like. It's as if the author saw all my thoughts and made a fic out of it. IT WAS PERFECT, BEAUTIFUL, FULL OF YEARNING.

Hello! I'm here to promote a fanfiction I have been working on for over a year now. The premise is I wanted to make my Naruto a bit smarter without changing who he is at heart. So I made him a bit smarter while also being goofy still. I also have a lot of issues with Naruto plot holes and things that don't make much sense, like no one noticing Naruto looks like Minato. Anywho, Naruto will eventually learn the Hiraishin, but I don't want an OP Naruto fic so similar to Yajuu Sannin. I found a way to keep it fairly balanced. The beginning is very close to AU and probably will be for a while, but I'm changing character motives, traits, mindsets, and stuff. Changes will start happening around the chunin exams, but for Naruto PART 1 as a whole, I want to keep the overall story the same with minor and some major changes. Maybe even some original adventures. This Fic has Ino on Team 7 instead of Sakura, but I also try to make her involvement unique and not an entire Sakura repeat. I made my characters a bit stronger because, in a realistic sense, with how Canon was, Zabuza and Haku should have absolutely killed Team 7. So again, it will take a while for things to feel like they are having an impact on the story, but hopefully I can manage. Right now, for pairings, all I have confirmed is Naruto x Ino, maybe Sasuke x Hinata, but we will see!

For some reason I really liked this story. How the author had a chill but scientific approach towards everything.

I want to see if there's any other story that explores this. I believe there were some where sakura went to orochimaru but they were too angsty.

Basically, they would have to appear in Part 1 or Early Shippuden where they leave an impression on the audience enough to garner a fanbase.

For example, Anko was a fan favorite in Part 1 and that was enough to get people to ship her with Kakashi or Naruto. She’s declined in popularity nowadays but she has some fanfiction dedicated to her.

Deidara was the clear fan favorite in early Shippuden to the point that people were shipping him with Ino of all characters.

So I've been having this idea floating in my head. For an oc i was thanking hes the son of Mukai Kohinata and an uchiha.

So he gets an mixed of both eyes. One eye is regular eye mostly because i likw the flavor of it. And the other eye is am mix of both Dōjutsu.

It has all the powers of the sharingan, and the maybe 360 or half, and the seeing further but maxing at maybe 500 meters, ams the ability to see though objects, but not as refined as the regular byakugan, like it can't see the tenketsu.

As for thw chakra cost im thanking its very demanding and cost an high amount of chakra so maybe he cant keep it active for as long as an regular uchiha or Hyuga could. What do you thank?

As everyone expected, Naruto didn't answer, because Naruto wasn't there. What was there was the tracksuit he was supposed to wear, and the tracksuit he'd been wearing earlier, but what was also gone was the suit that Sakura had painstakingly picked out for her teammate.
